The two Kosunn would eat their dinners without a word- when Tomanton was finished his potatoes, he rose.
"Kaloa, I'm going to bed." He gathered up his and Kaloaten's dishes, then went inside to put them in the sink- as an afterthought, he wondered just how messy the patio would be come morning, and who would clean it up. He called back out to Kaloaten; "Be on your best behaviour."
"Yes, Tomanton.." Kaloa sighed as he watched him disappear from sight, then stuck his tongue out as he hopped from his seat to go over to the side of the pool, sitting and putting his feet in the deep end. He found it amusing the big deal everyone had made over Acid swimming naked. Back where they were from, that was how they did it.. but no, Tomanton said that wasn't how it worked here.
Thinking about Acid reminded him of Morsko- the neat looking thing that had been following Acid around. Kaloa splashed with his feet lightly as he looked around, to see where him/it had gotten to.
Essex sheepishly teetered on the edge of the board, looking mortified at Kairaishi's words at one moment and somewhat subdued at Solid's the next. She looked gratefully at Experiment, and was just about to jump in, when -
"Kyaaaah!!"
With a hapless flailing of her arms, Cortianna's psychic push shoved her into the pool. There was a loud clapping sound and a large splash, mostly resulting from the belly-flop the android perpetrated right in the middle of the deep end.
Held up by the water-wings, she floated back up to the surface after the dive, spluttering and flailing.
";_; Gaaah..."
Rosalind, in the meantime, was getting excited by Kefetasura waving the little ball of foil. She may have been snarky and smart, but she was still a dog.
Responding to his voice, it was like her entire lower body wagged as she tried frantically to both wag her tail and continue doggie paddling, barking excitedly at the waving foil ball. Still trying to swim, however, every other bark was a sneeze as she got water in her mouth and nose.

As Essex fell in above him, Acid couldn;t help but laugh - and promptly remember that he could't actually breathe water!
His trial ruined, he decided to heck with it and came back up to the surface, taking a deep breath. It was good to breathe. A lot of people took it for granted, never even knowing what they had.
"Fall in?" his floating head grinned broadly at Essex...

Mini Bot waved its arms at Stella frantically and pointed emphatically at the surface of the pool. It's two tentacles spun around as well, boiling up the water behind the robot and shooting bubbles everywhere.
Up on the surface, Toy Dispenser and Combat Toy had moved away from their normal positions and were walking toward Pyro and Lily. The two split off, Toy walking some ways behind them to check on the grill while Combat Toy stomped up right in front of them and looked down on them.
"You two don't look like much," the big bot rumbled.
Statesman said let there be heroes, and there were heroes.
Lord Recluse said let there be villains, and there were villains.
NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.

CC laughed merrily and swam up to tread water next to Essex. "Oh don't worry, you're alright. Probably stung more than anything. Want a ride to the shallow end? You can just put your arms around my neck and I'll swim us down there."
Meanwhile, Lily stared up at Combat Toy with a sneer.

"How shocking. Considering we come up to maybe your waist." Lily crossed her arms over her chest and shifted slightly. She spotted a small dandelion growing through a crack in the concrete right at Combat Toy's feet and stifled a grin. Glad for her sunglasses, she continued to stare up at the 'bot. "Why do you care anyway, tin man?"

Seeing he had the soaked border collies undivided attention, Kefetasura heaved the foil ball with all his might to the far end of the pool. When Rosie dashed off to chase it he used a tiny bit of telekinetic power to make it 'dodge' her just a little, to enhance the thrill of the chase.
Essex gratefully flailed over to CC, putting her arms around the girl's neck.
"Thanks...." she said, a little embarassed, coughing to get a little water out of her system.
Luckily for CC, she wasn't very heavy - though she was an android, she was manufactured with high-strength silicone, plastics, and hollow reinforced metal framework. The resulting construct was likely lighter than the average little girl. As they bobbed by, she nodded to Acid.
"I'm not a very good diver..." she said sadly. "Though I feel as though I was pushed in. But...there was nobody there, so it must have just been me."

CC chuckled and patted Essex's head before slowly making her way towards the shallow end. "It's okay. It takes time to learn. I'm happy to help you if you want! Probably safer here than in the ocean. Less waves!"
Still swimming, CC twisted around to look at Essex. "How old are you anyways? I thought everyone learned to swim when they were little."

Combat Toy also shifted, stepping back with one foot so that Lily and Pyro could see the pool. The robot turned its head to look at Lily and seemed to grin.
"Maybe I'm being clever," it said.
Just then, a wave of pressure pushed on the two villains' backs, propelling them into the water.

Rosie took off like a sleek black-and-white torpedo, churning up water as she paddled furiously towards the foil ball, barking crazily and sneezing and spluttering. She nearly propelled herself off of Acid as she snapped around gleefully, trying to catch the foil ball.
Essex flushed a little. "In terms of actual age, I was manufactured seven years ago." she said. "In terms of intellectual maturity Dr. West places an estimation around that of a college student. However, regarding emotional and social maturity, I'm still somewhat....behind. I have spent most of my life in the laboratory and had little opportunity to practice swimming, as I have two brothers and a sister whose expertise is just that."
Suddenly, she caught herself slightly. "Er...One brother, and one sister." she said a bit more quietly.

"Sonuva-" Lily's curse was cut short by the water. Surfacing from her ungraceful dive, she sputtered some more curses and pushed her sunglasses up onto her head. Rivelets of water streamed down her face.
"You. Have. A. Lot. Of. Nerve."
The dandelion Lily had noticed earlier suddenly grew in size, towering over Combat Toy. It wrapped two of its leaves around the robot and hefted it up off the ground. Taking a moment to get the motion right, the giant dandelion swung its leaves towards the pool. Combat Toy would land right in the middle of the deep end while the weed would flex, right before shrinking back to its normal size. It would be the ultimate event in the little weed's life.
CC knelt down in the shallow end to allow Essex to climb off her back. "Oh, I see. So you're the baby of the family? I know exactly where you're coming from. I've got tons of them too...even lost a few." CC's smile was sad for an instant. "But they wouldn't want you to mope around!" She reached out and ruffled Essex's hair. "Gotta show 'em you're not the baby, you're the best!"

"Son of a [censored]!" Combat Toy shouted, parroting Lily's earlier comment.
The big assault bot hit the water with a tremendous splash, throwing water up onto the pavement around the pool and making two foot high ripples. Combat Toy sunk down to the bottom with Mini Bot and lay there for a moment before surging to its feet and started churning its way to the shallow end.
Toy Dispenser, meanwhile, was doubled over laughing as his plan went off without a major hitch.

"Aaah...." Essex cried out a little, startled, as the two-foot wave promptly picked her up and deposited her in a large puddle outside the pool, where she promptly moved her goggles up on top of her head and blinked confusedly.
Rosalind, in the meantime, let out a startled yelp as the three-ton assault bot narrowly missed landing on her. There was a poof of smoke, and a scantily clad humanoid was now in the pool, bikini swimsuit having replaced the dog's fur for cover.
"What the HELL are you doin', Combat Toy!?" she snarled, immediately going after the much larger ball of tinfoil that was the assault bot. "You tryin' ta squish me!?"

Acid laughed loudly as the wave carriedhima good distance, though sadly it wasn't powerful enough to perform a bellyslide on.
Then again, he could fix that.
"Hey, CT, do that again!" he grinned maliciously, telporting the assault bot about two meters into the air and letting it drop back down into the pool with another huge splash...

When Pyro had hit the water, he had been absolutely COVERED in steam, before ramming his fist into the poolside. A few tiles fell from the side he had grabbed as he crushed it under hand, climbing to the side of the pool, gasping. "I swear... I will melt the parts of whoever controls that DAMNED thing!"
Experiment, meanwhile, had covered his mouth with an armour plate, quieting his laughter to almost nothing, both at Essex and Pyro's misfortunes.
The first wave caught CC by surprise, and she nearly smashed into the steps at the shallow end of the pool. "What the heck?" Twisting around, she saw Lily grinning maliciously and climbing out of the pool. She had just enough time to register that Combat Toy was climbing out of the pool when he suddenly disappeared - and dropped right back into the water.
"Waaahhh!" CC winced as she was sent back into the steps. Wiping her eyes, she found herself sitting in waist deep water and glaring at Acid. "Some warning next time, okay?!?" Looking over at Essex, she asked, "You alright?"
Lily had managed to make it out of the pool before Combat Toy made his second appearance. She still got hit square in the back by the splash though, which just irritated her even more. Seeing Toy Dispenser by the grill, she stalked over and stood in front of him, hands on hips, dripping.
"Enjoying the comedy?" Lily's tone was anything but friendly. "Don't you think the director should take a bow too?" A tree near the grill bent down and wrapped its limbs around Toy Dispenser. Struggling to lift him, the tree bent all the way back and then snapped forward, intent on launching him towards the beach.
"Oops. Wrong direction. My bad," Lily said, squelching off to find some towels.

"God friggin' damn it!" Combat Toy shouted as it fell into the water again, sinking down until it hit the bottom right next to Mini Bot again.
This time, the black bot didn't move and just sat there, apparently sulking.
"Someone needs a sense of humour," Toy Dispenser said as the tree threw him about ten feet before his anti-grav system kicked in and halted him in mid-air. "And yes, that was hilarious."

NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.
"I'm okay..." Essex said with a little half-nod to CC. "I'm feeling a little waterlogged, though, so I think I'm going to bed before I - Gaaah!!" She covered up as the second huge Combat-Toy-Wave washed over her, resoaking her.
"...Yeah, I'm heading up." she said, very carefully taking off her goggles and putting them somewhere safe.
Rosalind, however, wasn't done, and headed out of the pool to grab a soda. She didn't seem to feel the need to explain how she got a bikini.

Lily's ears wiggled a little as she toweled off. "Oh, I have a sense of humor. I thought that was funny," she replied, indicating the tree and the dandelion. Wrapping the towel around her, she tugged off her boots and padded towards the house. Grabbing her duffel bag, she made a quick stop in the kitchen.

"Uh, I guess I'll go get ready for bed myself. . ." Hal said nervously. It was so embarrassing. He ALWAYS left as soon as Essex did.
Rosie nodded obligingly to Acid, snagging him a soda. "Heads up, Ace!" she called out, lofting it underhand for him to catch so as not to shake it up too much.
When Hal left after Essex, she quirked an eyebrow and whistled slightly before heading back to the pool.
Essex seemed a little morose as she held her blue goggles, slipping back into the house with an oversized towel around her shoulders. She was actually rather glad she was staying with Solid. The larger, older android made her feel quite safe - safer than a brother would. It was much closer to the feeling of having a very close uncle, or a godfather.
The android dried off, putting on a cute little set of pyjamas. She wasn't sure why she had pyjamas in the first place - she didn't really recharge very often, and when she went into sleep mode it was usually recreational as she greatly enjoyed the dreams she had on occasion. But the green chinese-style pyjamas with the little pink flowers stirred up strange memories in her, so she liked them.
Flowers...and green.

"Aww..." CC pouted a little as she swam in circles. Quickly getting bored with the repetitive motion, she dived down to the bottom. There was a Kheldian, a baby 'bot, a big 'bot, and the motorcycle man ((Morgant)). CC swam up to the motorcycle man and tapped his shoulder. "Whatcha doing down here with your eyes closed?" she asked. Which sort of came out as a mass of bubbles instead of words.

Stellarmare flcked to the side as Combat Toy landed. There was a muted thump and a pulse of displaced water as she shifted to the hulking dwarf form. Wrapping a massivly clawed hand over Mini Bot's headpeice. She crouched and jumped, the muscels of her legs, developed to handle the intense gravity of a neutron star's surface, launch both out of the pool and arced into the air for a moment before landing with a very solid crunch on the cement around the pool.
Setting Mini Bot on the ground, she patted it on the head before reaching up snag Acid's soda before it stuck her own head. A light lob sent the errant can the remaining distence to the lizardman.

Looking at the android girl's nervousment, Cortianna smirked and didn't bother trying to resist the urge. A telekinetic juggle of the board and a slight shove and she would send Essex in to find out exactly how deep the pool was.
The Nova slipped smoothly into the water and swam down to look Mini Bot over carefully. Stella tilted her head and waved a pair of tenticles at it.
