"Well ain't that just plain rude." Acid snorted at Hallucinogen as he approached the group, thinking he meant Morsko, walking beside Acid, as he'd held the second remaining egg.

But he quickly transitioned to a more relevant subject, "So, what do ya do for fun around here?"

Since nobody else seemed to have brought a car, he highly doubted they could street race - and Ceres was just plain old out of the question...

CC trudged up the hill, boots in hand. At the back door, she put the shoes down and looked around for a hose. Finally spotting one by the pool, she trotted over to grab it and bring it back. Turning it on, she began hosing down her boots, her own feet, and anything that walked by.

Lily, meanwhile, made her way into the east wing and the entertainment room. Spotting the pool table she grinned and pushed her sunglasses up on top of her head. "Anyone up for a game?" she asked, racking the balls and grabbing a cue stick.

"Uh. . ." Hal said, considering, "I like video games. . . I guess. . . and what do you mean, rude?"

((You realize that almost no one posts anywhere on the weekends, and particularily not me and Essex.

. . .What? Coincidence, TOTAL coincidence.

Aaaaanyways, though, I wouldn't mind but wait for people to actually start posting SOMEWHERE before you do so.))

"Oh, just the usual judgementalness." Acid returned to Hallucinogen, crossing his arms but not bothering to turn towards him, "I swear, it's like being different is a disease with you people sometimes..."

Essex sighed in relief and handed the egg off to Kaloaten.

"I'm sorry for being so rude." she chirped apologetically. "I just didn't know if this would disrupt anything. Please keep the egg, as requested."

Rosalind was having a good time the best way she knew how. The border collie was rolling about in the grass, kicking up blades of it and sneezing as her legs kicked about in the air.

". . .What are you talking about?" Hal said irritably. "I wasn't talking about you! Moonscribe is driving me crazy. . ."

"You do know I can hear you," Moonscribe remarked.

"Yes," Hal said without turning, "and I also know that you'll know what I say whether you hear or not!"

Pyro frowned, although, from the fact that his mouth was almost on the side of his face, it may be hard to tell. "How would he know what you said without hearing it?" the pyromaniac asked, bewildered. "Does he have connections among us?"

Experiment sighed. He could have sworn he had never seen this Pyro-Technis guy before, but he just seemed like so many villains, and heroes, if counting Burning Brawler, he knew. Pyromaniac, and naive... So sad.

"I don't sense any overt psychic abilties in the nerd, but there is something.. off about him. And not my 'off' either." Cortianna murmered floating next to Experiment. Pale eyes skipped over to the armored hero and the teenaged girl frowned slightly before skimming back into the house.

Shortly, Experiment would smell the hairs on the back of his neck being burned.

Experiment sighed once again. Always with the psychics or people who could sense things! Almost worse than pyromaniacs!

...It took a second or two to register the slight burning sensation, but as soon as the hero felt it, his spines were out, swinging haphazardly around him and exploding every few seconds before he finally activated the Extinguish device of his armour.

In other words, he hit a button that covered him in water from the inside of his armour.

The spines retracted, and 2.0 sighed once again.

"...Pyros are still worse than psychics."

Helper approached Experiment at that moment, his shoulders castdown in a meek posture.

"It would appear, sir, that my plan failed. For that I apologize. Perhaps you would care to examine the laboaratory they have set up in the entertainment wing? Though it most likely is not the top-of-the-line sort of work space to which you and I are acustomed, we may still be able to think up some interesting projects nonetheless."

Experiment chuckled at Helper's apology light-heartedly. "Don't worry 'bout the egg, Helper. It's not like it really matters to anyone's feelings... Unless they are REALLY sensitive..."

At the robot's suggestion, 2.0 nodded. "That sounds pretty fun, even if they don't have advanced tech. I usually mess with things like that to pass the time anyway, but I have never tried with another person, or in this case, android. Lead away!"

"Hm, that sounds amusing." Acid smirked, "I like to build stuff. Lead the way, guys."

Morsko shrugged, at least as well as he was able to on all fours. Then he was off again. He had more fun chasing stuff anyway...

". . . Uh. . ." Hal muttered, turning to Essex.

He blushed a little. "Um, I know I could just find something to do by myself. . . and I could, I swear! But, uh. . ."

". . . you want to do something with me?" he finished, blushing further.

"Oh yes, please do accompany us Mister Zero," Helper said as he led the way towards the tinker's workshop, "Two heads are better than one, as the old addage states."

Experiment raised an eyebrow, seeming to count off carefully, but when he spoke, he was obviously sarcastic. "Hm... Let's see... There is Helper... Me... Acid.... I think your math is a bit off there, buddy... I count three heads... But that may just be me..."

Posted

"I am sorry, sir, but the saying does not typically include provisions for three persons. I was simply reciting the commonly accepted proverb," Helper explained calmly as he drew open the door of the laboratory.

Seeing no immediate takers, Lily started a game of pool by herself. After racking the balls, she walked down to the other end of the table with the cue ball and took aim.

CRACK!

"Aw...man...I suck at this."

Grumbling quietly, Lily tried to sink any ball into any pocket. Breaking did not appear to be her strong suit.

------

Feet and boots squeaky clean, CC padded into the hall and then down to the entertainment wing. Spotting the row of consoles, she grinned and dashed over to the shelves. "Oooh....hmm...what to play? Something new or something classic?"

((Whoops. After a week or so off and following the clearing-up of a slight few misunderstandings.. >_> we're back! And, since it seems that's what people wanted, jumping to teh vote. *hopes people post so he dosen't look dumb*))

Sometime later in the afternoon after dinner had been wrapped up, anybody passing by the main room would have noticed Lyden setting something up. As it only seemed to be a box on a pedestal accompanied by a stack of blank cue cards and a coffee mug full of various pencils, pens, crayons and highlighters it didn't seem to be anything all that special. However, taken in the context of their 'experiment' the correlation was obvious- it was time to vote someone off. Lyden's voice sounded out over the house's intercom, though in person it did not sound like he was speaking at all:

"Contestants are to report to the main room immediately."

Kaloaten, fresh out of the pool and still dripping wet, let out a gasp as he entered the main room and thoughtlessly tracked pool water everywhere- he knew what time it was. Thinking to dash off to warn Tomanton, Lyden put a hand on his shoulder to stop him- to prevent last-minute collaboration, until the voting was done once people got into the room they would stay there.

Essex trailed into the room momentarily with Rosalind, the two of them mid-argument.

"But you see, Miss Rosalind, it's not really a good comparison because you, unlike most ...uh...people of canine persuasion, are perfectly able to see and register colors, and in that you have the best of both worlds."

"Yeah, but remember I wasn't always a were-human. I remember when the world was black and white, kid!"

"...I had thought you underwent transformation at the age of a 4 month old puppy, roughly one hundred and sixty six years ago. Forgive me if I'm incorrect, but you can't even remember your own birthday."

"Hey, it was a significant event in my life, okay?? That [censored] makes an impression on you!"

"Perhaps so, but I hardly see how it applies to the current state of being, considering you're really in no position to-"

The two of them stopped upon entering the room, Rosalind crossing her arms disagreeably and Essex blushing a little.

"Ah...It seems it's time to vote." the android said.

"Oh, uh, hi Essex," Hal said, appearing out of nowhere again. "Uh. . . Good luck. . . heh. Not that I can imagine who'd vote you off. . ."

"Yes, very tactful, I am sure," Moonscribe said, walking up beside Hal, although he most certainly had not been there before. "Remind her that she could well be kicked out and humiliated in a few minutes."

". . .That wasn't what I meant at all! I was just trying to be nice!" Hal exclaimed angrily.

"Indeed," Moonscribe said calmly, folding his hands. "And failing at it miserably."

"I only regret that I have but one vote to cast," Kefetasura said through fits of laughter. Apparently he had appeared in the room just behind Moonscribe and Hal, and he found at the formers latest comment very funny, in a mean-spirited sort of way.

Helper shuffled into the room a few momoents later. This would be very difficult for him; he was not programmed to single out others for the purpose of finding fault! He was an assistant!

"Shut up, you," Solid said as he walked into the room and poked Moonscribe in the side of the head. "Kid's got enough troubles without you trying to make him look bad in front of his girlfriend."

"Girlfriend? What?" asked Toy Dispenser as he walked in from behind Solid, Mini Bot and Combat Toy trailing behind him. "Did someone get asked out on a date while I wasn't looking?"

Solid snorted and flopped down in the middle of one of the couches, arms and legs spread out just enough to claim the entire thing as his own. He'd only move over if Hal or Essex came to sit with him.

Toy, meanwhile, shrugged and floated a few feet up into the air, stretching himself out into a reclining position while he watched Lyden and the others. Combat Toy slumped in a disagreeable hunk of metal off to the side while Mini Bot practised doing backflips using only its legs and tentacles.
