I'm surprised that anyone picked up on that.
I only added her into the pic because I wanted some action in it. A re-occuring theme in my art is a distinct lack of static poses. I've been doing action shots and perspective for so long that I actually can't just draw normal people standing anymore. Sad... I know.

Guys might not pick up on it because there is eye candy in the pic :P
But Massacre' Melanie in that pic reminded me of Tyler Durden (I belive thats the name ) from "Fight Club " smiling as he got severly beat up
It has a great duality in the pic Fire/Ice , I think coloring would only increase this as Halley has alot of subdued/soft colors and effects and Massacre' Melanie has alot of bright/hard colors and effects .
After having seen both characters in game on Virtue .
I am trying real hard to get out of static poses myself but its hard breaking a bad habit
You got your self some nice pieces there!... and nice coloring job on the second! Beyond that, I really like the characters look and name... very... I don't know... words don't fail me, brain does... but nice look... for what ever reason

I can color stuff in Photoshop, but I hate doing it generally. It takes too much time, I get eye strain and I actually prefer black and white. I know, I'm insane. I'll generally color other people's work though. Somehow it's not as bad when it's someone else's lines.
And the fight between Halley's and Melanie actually happened in one of the Golden Giza Fight Nights. It was a team battle and Shutterbug took some shots of it. Fearing a tank is a mean mean dirty nasty trick, but that's exactly what Melanie is all about. Most of the pics are cute and happy, but the character herself is vicious and psychotic. ... I need to be able to enter the FNATGG more often...

I take payment in bubble wrap, cheesecake and shots of Inertial lying dead on the pavement in Siren's Call.
Seriously though, I only do art for people I consider friends or the random pic when I'm feeling bored or just wanna draw. As soon as I say "open for requests" I'll be filled with hundreds of people wanting to leech art off me. I'm too lazy to ever succumb to that.
On the other hand, there are times where I might do something for an art trade. Lord knows that I don't have much art of Melanie from other peole. I always enjoy that. But again, that's on an infrequent basis. Simply put, I like to do nothing, and lots of it!
