Ultimate TA. Man I would have to say go back to the basics. Take that warrior from the beginning and turn him into the Assassin. I think you would have to do something about the black color as well. It just makes it hard to say Ultimate. It does seem that the Ultimate line uses basic costumes that look like they could happen real world (except IronMan and his alien armor). The costumes are like what they would have if they started today, not what they are like through 50yrs of changes.

I think one of your sketches, the one with the face and long hair would be close to your Ultimate. I foget who did that one.

Here's is a very short summary of TA bio:

A young warrior in a battle against a large mystical serpent has his legs are severed. Thor appears and dispatches the serpent quickly. He is so impressed with the warrior’s bravery and skill that offers him the chance to learn the ways of a God. He accepts and during his apprenticeship is sent on many trials, through different places and times. One of his trials drops him into Paragon City where he meets many heroes and joins up with the Legends of Justice. But it’s not all fun and good times; Loki appears disguised as a member of LoJ, begins to corrupt the warrior and ultimately is the one who turns him into Thor’s Assassin.

As Thor dies, the warrior is changed into Assassin of Thor and is banished to Hel where he is haunted by the sprits of murdered warriors. AoT plots his vengeance and seduces Loki’s daughter (Hel). With the legions of Hel at his command he begins his siege on Asgard and finally takes his place as Lord of Valhalla.

Sorry about being tardy to the party . My Ultimate Coldfire costume has reversed colors, a skull chestplate, skull brooch, and the villainous spiked pauldrons (sp?). I just went with his regular look and used clothing pieces that matched his old ones but were different.

Here's my attempt

...not jumping on the TA Remake bandwagon (sorry TA you have plenty of other folks willing to do that...heh) but instead opted to focus on WP instead. this in turn depends greatly on the definition of "ultimate" being used...whether the Marvel Rework version or meaning that the character has reaches their pinnacle of power.

for the former I have actually already done that and you can see a part of it in the avatar I have displayed. the idea was to keep the suit as "real" as possible...as such spandex is out. that said...the uniform is still tight but still a bit more real imo.

as far as the latter goes...I have no clue as his story is far from done. while I have had the character for nearly 20 years he is ever evolving and I doubt there ever will be such a place for him.... If I had to do it though it would be something similar to the phoenix effect...otherwise his suit wouldnt be all that much different...

eh...either way, it is a good character exercise to go through as it can help define a character or take them down paths one might not normally take...~

Alright, here is my attempt at Ultimate TA (and since the game is lacking in a lot of sexual/bondage clothing, we can’t very well make the REAL Ultimate Thor’s Assassin )

I tried doing as others suggested and streamline his original costume. Since TA left out whether this “ultimate” version of TA is good or evil, I went with a good version.

I dropped the hood in favor of something else. First I had the wings on his head. It looked ok but really had no relevance to TA or the evil incarnations of him. I ditched those for a Viking look because LoV has the horns growing from his head. We all know TA is horny, but horns growing from a hero didn’t seem appropriate; at least I don’t think it does. The ninja mask covers his facial features like the old costume did, this one is just a little more “real” and is from the AoT days (and I like the blue line as a highlight )

Since we’re staying with a “real” look, I changed his spiked shoulder pads to something a little more realistic (it also protects more of his arm this way). The gloves are streamlined into something a little more manageable too. (a note on the gloves…I realize the blue is a lighter than the other blues in his costume. It seemed good at the time to add some highlights to the costume. After I finished, though, I realized the blue squares almost look like a mini screen that allows TA to monitor his power levels lol. Too much thought into this? Yeah I agree. It’s what happens when I get bored.)

The remaining part of his upper body is covered in the armored pads. Since, to my knowledge, TA has no reason to wear heavy upper body armor; this allows him to move more freely in combat. His belt is the same as before because…well I like that belt on him. His lower body is covered in light armored tech. Assassin of Thor had this same pattern (techbot pattern) as a top at one point; maybe as pants too, I can’t remember. The boots are the same as the gloves to keep the costume in balance.

Since I’m too lazy to go through the process of making another version, if I had to change anything on this one I’d remove the Viking cap/horns, replace it with TA’s normal visor and go with the long hair option.

My vote goes to Sass though
