Zobragas has a really good point. id like to know what he was before becoming Thors assistant which, if your still going by the same description, would allow me to understand him better meaning easier costumes and more importantly...Drawings!!
Well I suppose I should wait till I have the Bio completed then. TA/AoT/LoV are all the same character and have all had different stages of evolution that would be explained in the bio.
In the beginning TA was merely a warrior in a small village that went out to best the towns menacing monster who demanded sacrifice. Tis where TA lost his legs from the knees down and where he was saved by Thor.
I've always thought TA just doesn't look like an Assassin enough.
Ultimate TA should play more to that angle, and the fact that he's CENTURIES old.

They implanted a thought control chip into his brain and replaced most of his body with cybernetic implants that could generate vast amounts of electrical power... he was just one of many Assassin's of Thor... however, on a job, he was struck down my a psychic Hero, this overloaded the Control Chip in TA's brain... He was now free and took the name Thor's Assassin, with his personal mission to take down "The Assassin's of Thor".

Thanks man but I do have a full Bio in the works that explains the full background story of all three of my mains.
This was meant moe for TA after all is said and done and he has reached his pennacle of his powers.

About the Ultimate line, it is simply a modern take on silver age heroes, when Marvel did this, it was meant to appeal younger readers because their fan base was growing old and young people throw more money into comics.
So the backstories changed a bit to better stick to the modern world and (except for Spiderman) the costumes where also tweaked to look more modern (a lot of leather has replaced spandex or more tech parts for some characters)
IMHO, your TA's costume could already fit the Ultimate line (Simple, mostly black with Tech details) but Lady J's sketch is a great Ultimate vision as well.

Anywayz, here's a shot at Ultimate TA. Maybe not the greatest but it's my first try.
edit: Just realized I forgot the shoulder spikes. Heh, can't do everything.
Yeah, I was in a hurry and missed how beefy TA is -- In these shots he's sort of got my default build. The Crey Armour gives that sleek, but real feel to it -- so I guess that's why.
Thor... the ULTIMATE version of you was already done...
