Though we can clearly see the costume itself... I at least... can't realy see for sure which face/mask/detail etc your using. When I try to blow it up in photoshop for a better look it all goes to heck. Could you possibly show us a better close up from the source?

If so I might be able to scribble something on paper and scan it. I'm kinda guessing which ones your using but would prefere a proper close up from you. Also do you wan't the face to be a carbon copy of the City of one or do you have a photo of self/actor/FX 'gore' critter you'd like that mug to look like?

Please also make sure any screenie is taken in a nice bright well lit area in game.. Photshop can only do so much. Shadow I can add myself later. The detail I need to see now... so to speak.

I make no 100% garantees but provided personal life doesn't go crazy or I suffer some grevious injury or have a bout of bone idleness you should see something soon.

I won't even begin though if I don't see a nicer, closer and cleaner screenie of the face and or a description/screenie of the face you want.

Take care,

Rogue Demonhunter

I don't have a lot of money to spend, and the exchange rate for New Zealand to US dollars makes me cringe at times. But it is possible to get nice inked and/or colored pieces from $5USD - $50USD if you're willing to put in the time and effort to track down the artistic talent.

I thoroughly recommend scouring the artistic community at DeviantArt.com. You will find many talented people creating pieces for reasonable prices, in differing styles. And oft times, if you are polite enough you can 'persuade' someone to do a paid commission for you even if they don't advertise this service.

Another good potential resource is the ComicArtCommunity.com auctions. If you play your cards right you can pick up inked commissions at around $40USD-$75USD from budding artists who produce really good work - D9Arts and ComiCommission from Brazil spring to mind.

I'm nowhere near in the same collecting league as Thor's Assassin, Katfood or Rowr but at the momment I currently have 17 commissions that are either waiting to be started or are currently in production.

The one rule you should take to heart is never 'beg' any of the artists on these sites for a discounted price or a freebie. The situation for many of these artists is that creating pieces isn't highly profitable and it's a means of supplementing their income, and not the main source.

Well, I did write a guide to collecting art...it's located on my website below. Aside from hitting conventions, I mostly network with artists to get more art, which usually snags me some discounts. I don't normally collect more than one piece of work from an artist at a time unless I like their style alot. As far as freebie art goes, I got one from Celtic Bolt and Jim Tessier, but I don't ask for freebies unless I really like the style. It's my preference that no one draws Bayani unless they ask me first. I'm fairly picky, and like some control over how my character's portrayed. If I like someone's style enough to request art, I'm always willing to pay for it. (I apologize if this sounds obnoxious or snobbish to anyone, but I prefer quality over quantity of pictures)

That was a fine guide you wrote, wish we had it stickied. I go for quality over quantity as well, and the waiting time has tended to reflect this.

So I guess I will have to ressurect the artist inside of me and start a thread with free artwork for all. Along with celtic bolt and a few other I will give my art away for free. and for all of tjose people that doesn't believe others no how much time it takes to make a masterpiece. Don't worry you want see anymore post by me trying to appeal to the human side of you all. Instead, hopefully, The next time you see a post by me it will be asking you for you toons. So I guess I will start lesson for me right now.

I'm sorry, but I am going to be the first one on here to say it:

I do not believe your story. Quite frankly you write and act like a teenager. You spam numerous threads asking the same questions, you PM but don't respond if you don't like the answer, you forget what a paragraph is used for, and now that "you feel rejected" you tell everyone to "foget it!" and "you'll be back!"

Seems a little bit too much like an elementatry character from the Incredibles if you ask me.

My average piece takes me 6 hours. For people like Gill and DJ I'd put that number up towards 10-20. It's enjoyable, but it's still work.

Would you go around walking up and down your street asking people to work for you for 10+ hours for free? - Not me. The only people I would consider asking that of is my closest friends and family, and even then I'd offer them something.

A lot of people have grown to that point IMO. The_PMD, TA, and a number of others have given me so much help, support, and advice, that I would, and have done that very thing for them.

Again, I'm going to be frank here, but I have not seen anything at all like that from you.

Honestly, how old are you man?

I just got painter today, so I'm feeling magnanimous... apologies to the others waiting, but this is my first time reading his request, and I have no other basis but to take it as sincere... gonna punch out something.

However tomorrow and all week, will be working on those I promised to do...

Hey Bayani, question for ya, I loved that team up... is there anyone else you'd like to be drawn with?

LJ

Looks like a trace to me. The way the right side of his chest looks it looks like you traced someone who had drawn a prominent pectoral muscle, but didn't understand exactly what they were doing with it, so it ends up looking like a female breast.

But, hey, if you want art of Lazzarus so badly, that's a lot better way to go about it than begging every day.
