Now you made me sad. I want a physx card!
Then again, I also want something besides my crappy GeForce 5200 . . . , time to make that birthday list. It's gonna be awful short this year.

Don't know about hoovermatics...at hami raids the grav folks are kinda turning into litterbugs. They are leaving forklifts and televisions and garbage scattered all over the hive.

Well that is pretty nifty and all, but once the novelty wears off is it still worth buying an whole extra card that you might not even be using in 5 years?

The answer is no. Won't see me running out to buy a card till it's a requirement for some new game I want. Thats my measuring stick for when to update my computer. When it no longer runs the games I want to play, it's time for an update!

That's funny, since the DE are always complaining about the humans ruining the earth. Now the humans come in, destroy their king, AND leave trash all over.

Came with my new system by defualt.. It was downgrade processor and gfx card or take the physx card...and well...

yeah, i was wondering... i'm tossing garbage and leaves around on my Grav controller, and i don't have that card.

With the PhysX card, you can throw a WHOLE lot more garbage....hust got to go in and turn the slider up. You probably don't want to see what THAT would do though

Without the PhysX card, the slider maxes at 400 or somethiing....WITH it..........a LOT higher number pops up (no, I don't know the number, as I don't have the card (My wife says NO card for you! )

Actualy they patched is last week that will allow the slider to go up to 50K patricle effects and you can increase the particle quality to very high.

What the card does do, is it will offload some of the strain from CPU. Plus you will get "finer" effects.

Like in mayhem missions you will see more individual parts. Example when a car blows up with the card, you will see more individual parts of the car vs w/o the card.

The only computer part I might be using five years after I buy it is the monitor. I'll have gone through two video cards by then and probably be itching for a third!
