The Coliseum 2 [Open RP]
Fell was not a fool. He could tell when he was losing. He had one chance left. Closing his eyes to shield them from the grenades, he pressed his hands against his forehead, pouring chi into his mind.
I am going to win! No one can stop me! I am James H. Fell, Attorney at Law! I have never lost and never will! I AM INVINCIBLE!
The rush of energy sent his arrogance into overdrive. Just a few seconds, and he would be invincible again. Then that annoying commando would be no match for him.
And to end his barrage, Reikoff rolls four frag grenades right at Fell's feet.
OOC: Nice rush of posting here, 63 new ones. Sorry about taking so long, Shadow.
BIC: After making sure that Coldfire was out of the fight, thus lifting a great load from the Warmaster's mind, Chertak turned to look for that disappearing ninja again. The others could fight and die as much as they liked as long as they didn't interfere with him.
Hefting his rifle in one hand, Chertak pressed the other hand to his temple. The touch caused his HUD to begin cycling through vision modes as he attempted to find Ryan before the human got to him first.

Seeing the frag grenades land, Fell despaired for a second. No. . . the damn Soviet was one step ahead of him again! He would never become invincible before those went off. . .
Well. . . if he was going to go down, he might as well take Reikoff with him. Fell raised his hands and poured all of his chi into them.
"GO TO HELL!" he roared, and simultaneously the grenades went off and a massive blast of energy flew across the arena in Reikoff's direction, sending shrapnel everywhere as it hit the stands.
* * * * * *
Fell's spirit looked around. Great, he was in Purgatory, where he would be painfully "cleansed" of his sins by that damn Angel of Death. Fell sighed. Where was AGENT RAPHAEL when you needed him?
((And no, I don't expect you to know what the heck I am talking about. Fell is the main character of a very strange story I am writing. Suffice it to say--he's dead.
So. . . how many characters per round? If we all keep substituting this round will never end. Or is that how it is supposed to be?))
"Oh, [censored]." Reikoff exclaimed before being eviscerated brutally.
---
With a flash, he was in the hospital, cursing at the nurses.
"Funny thing about Bruce Lee" Becky began as her fists became knuckles and light emitated from her fists, "He's dead." Becky kicked off of Rieshi and flew at her flinging her fists in rapid succession, some hitting some not. After the blows were over Becky's sword materialized and began coming down on Reishi's head.
OOC: Since Shadow said elsewhere that he'd be gone until after the 4th of July, I'll try to wrap up our section of the fight satisfactorily.
BIC: Chertak barely caught a flash of motion on one of the vision modes before Ryan's sword dug into his side. Briefly cursing up a mental storm, the subtleties of which went unknown to the humans, instead giving them a mild headache, Chertak moved with the blow and managed to avoid getting any important organs cut to shreds.
"Targets: Cannot hide: Forever," Chertak announced as he brought his rifle down on Ryan's back.
The ninja also rolled with the blow, literally this time, and jumped to his feet with one hand clutching the side where Chertak had punched him earlier. Since Chertak was in more or less the same position as Ryan was, the Rikti permitted himself a moment of ironic mirth before focusing on the task at hand.
"Us two: Shall dispense with: Unhonorable tactics. Objective: Fight on even sides."
"Ok," said Ryan a bit uncertainly. "I won't phase shift or disappear and you don't teleport or use your rifle."
"Deal," Chertak said, pleased. "Commence: Combat."
Dematerializing his rifle, Chertak rushed forward with his hands held over his head to crush Ryan. The ninja rolled to the side, easily avoiding the clumsy attack. But then Chertak lashed out with a foot, something that he had never done before. Ryan managed to jumped over that attack but was forced to block Chertak's follow up punch with the flat of his blade. The ninja was knocked off his feet and looked up as the Warmaster prepared to stomp him into the hospital.
But Ryan wasn't out yet and the clever fighter whipped Akujiki around and slashed at where he thought Chertak's hamstring was. His guess happened to be correct and Chertak fall over, more telepathic curses making Ryan's head pound. Rolling backwards onto his feet, he watched for a moment as Chertak pulled himself into a kneeling position and glared at the human.
"Ryan the Shadow: Objective: Finish this."
And Ryan did, one thrust carrying his sword cleanly through Chertak's body. Of course, he was surprised to note the very large, and very strong, gauntlet that suddenly gripped his throat. Panicking, Ryan forgot to phase shift out of the grip and was subsequently teleported to the hospital along with the Rikti. The judges having decided that Chertak's death grip would have gone undisturbed long enough for Ryan to choke to death.

((Ok, I'm 100 posts behind, so either A. I could be in the match just not fighting anyone, or B. Not in the match at all, its up to you guys.))
The energy punches stung, but not as much as a sword to the head would.
"Bruce Lee didn't die IN BATTLE!" Reishi brought her hands together and stopped the blade with her bare hands.
"Like that? I had to spend ten months learning kenjutsu before I could do that. Stupid teacher wouldn't teach me."
She followed up by slamming her foot into Becky's chest, while still holding the blade.
"Y'know, I had a sword once. It was called Kamui, and it was huuuuuuuge," Reishi drove her foot into Becky's chest again, "I stopped using it when I realized it was only effective for cutting down trees."
Becky pushed off and demateriolized her sword. "You wanna fight with fists?" Becky said cracking her knuckles, "Then lets go!" Becky rushed forward and slammed her fists into Reishi's kidney causing her to lean to that side and Becky slammed her shin into Reishi knocking her over. "That's called street fighting."
"Puh," Reishi got up, "Aight kid, you wanna brawl with me? Okay then..."
Reishi stomped onto each of Becky's feet, and held her their with the weight of her body, and then punched Becky in the stomach, causing her to lean forward, and then right in the jaw, while still stepping on her feat.
"That's nothin'!" Becky said forcing Reishi off by bursting into the air, "You're pathetic!" Becky flew up and dropped down with her hands over her head. Reishi expected an overhead crush and dodged, but when Becky hit the ground she did a sweep and knocked Reishi off her feet. She then grabbed her arms and pulled her over kneed her in the chest knocking the wind out of her. Afterwards, Becky flipped her over herself and put her arms over her neck and legs and cracked Reishi's back. Dropping the woman, Becky looked over and said, "I may not be super strong, but hell if I didn't learn something working with Coldfire."
"Hey thanks! You got the kink out of my back!" Reishi exclaimed, "But y'know what? I think it's time for me to beat the crap out of you."
Reishi leapt up in the blink of an eye, behind Becky, and slammed her to the Earth below. Becky didn't hit the ground, however, instead she connected with Reishi's knee. Reishi followed up with a punch that sent Becky flying towards one of the walls, but she never connected with that either, instead meeting Reishi's fist in an uppercut that sent her flying high into the air, where Reishi leapt and administered a series of punches and kicks to Becky's torso, wrapping everything up with a hammer-like kick that sent her back to the ground.
Reishi landed heavily, creating two cracks where her feet touched the ground. She stood up and stretched her muscles. Some of them still hurt from previous attacks, but it wasn't anything she wasn't used to.
Becky got up and spat some blood and smiled, "I've hurt more from attacks by skulls." Becky launched herself at Reishi and slammed her fist into Reishi's face making her stumble and said, "But I'm tired of this." Becky resummoned her sword. Reishi didn't approve, obviously thinking it was cheap. Becky didn't care. Launching at Reishi with her massive broadsword, Becky grinned sadistically.
"Alright, so be it," Reishi let Becky's sword cut into her shoulder, "that hurt, but this'll hurt more."
Reishi slammed her hands together on Becky's ears. She then grabbed her wrists and pushed her foot into Becky's chest.
"Give up, kid, and I'll stop," Reishi said.
"You fight like a girl." Becky said with a smirk as she dislocated her wrist and popped it back in in a smooth motion getting it away from Reishi. Becky slammed her fist into Reishi's kidney making her lean forward. Becky dematerialized her blade and began throwing punch after punch into Reishi's kidneys. When the last punch was thrown, the next went to Reishi's jaw making her fly off her feet. "Give it up, I can go all day doing this with ease." Becky said rematerializing her sword and readying herself for the next attack, "You can't hope to beat me."
"I think we're too evenly matched, then," Reishi said, catching the blade with her feet and holding herself up with both arms. She then pulled the blade out of Becky's hands and flung it across the arena while springing to her feet to face her.
"Y'wanna call it a draw and go beat the crap out of everyone else? After that we can flip a coin and the loser falls down," Reishi proposed.
"Fine." Becky said remanifesting her sword, "But I must tell you, throwing my sword doesn't work."
"Keeps it away from me, at least," Reishi grinned.
The soldier and the suit. Those were the last ones. Becky knew better than to underestimate her enemies, but something about the suit made her smirk. A bullet was a nuicence, not a pain. He would go down quick she thought as she pointed her sword at him, "Him first."
((If you mean Fell and Reikoff, actually we have already wasted each other. . . there is nobody else left. . . ))
((Oh, then ignore my last post, me bad.))
"Alright, I'll flip the coin." Becky said pulling a quarter out of her pocket and flipping it into the air. As Reishi looked up at the coin, Becky materialized her sword and put it at Reishi's throat, "This is the part where you lose." Becky smiled and looked at Reishi, studying her movements, one false move and no more head. Becky's eyes got in a sadistic state and she said, "Isn't there a lesson somewhere about not letting your opponent get the upper hand?"
"Yup," Reishi said, still grinning, "By the way, I'm behind you."
It was true, Reishi knew the moment the coin was tossed that this would happen, as they hadn't determined who would be heads and who would be tails. So she had braced herself to move...fast. She then seized Becky's head in her arms, poised to snap it like a twig.
"Pointing a blade at someone's neck only works if they can't move in any other direction," Reishi pointed out, "Now, once again, this is going to go on forever. So either flip the coin RIGHT or give up."
"Fine, fine." Becky smiled, "I knew it wouldn't work." Becky picked up the coin from the ground and said, "I'm heads, your tails." Flipping it in the air, the two looked on and Becky caught it. Looking at the coin Becky said, "Tails. You win." Walking out of the arena once the doors had opened, Reishi saw the coin on the ground was heads.
Flashbangs suddenly start to explode...
