"Another fight is starting in a few minutes, fighters be ready." The announcer said over the intercom. Becky went to the medical bay where she found Coldfire sitting on the table getting an IV pulled out of his arm. "I lost." She said with a smile. "I will never get you..." Coldfire said standing up and walking over to her, "Lets go, I need to rest." Coldfire and Becky left the arena and went on their way home. But they'd be back.

Frigyd walked into the massive Coliseum and looked around as she saw the fighters moving about the structure. She heard the announcer say there was a new fight about to begin. Becky Morningstar and Coldfire Kaiser had just left. She had hoped to fight them, but no such luck. Frigyd looked at the registration office and walked toward it, everyone she passed shivering at the severe cold coming off of her body.
Diana walked nervously into the huge arena. What had possessed her to come here, she really had no idea. Isaiah was going to be furious. Well, if she ever told him.
She headed straight for the hospital service counter. She certainly was not going to get herself killed just to. . . To what? Prove she was no pushover? Something stupid like that. She sighed. Dang mid-life crisis.
Shinji and Rai waited patiently at the gates to enter the colliseum. "Ok, here's the deal, we work together untill its just us two left okay?" Rai said to Shinji
"Deal."
"Alright lets do this then."
They both smiled at each other and looked at the others as they arrived. ((If anyone else does anytime soon))
"Fight starting in 5 minutes, fighters, get ready." The announcer chimed in. Frigyd walked toward the gate and leaned against the wall inside accross from the guard captain. Seeing her shiver, he asked, "There sompin' wrong wit you?" Frigyd looked at him and a tear fell from her masked face and froze before getting half way to the ground, shattering upon landing.
Reishi felt the cold leaking off the new arrival.
Somehow, it was about as obvious as a brick to the face what this fighter could do.
She made a mental note to avoid this person until it was necessary. She had already been an ice cube today.
Diana walked over to the gate, a nervous wreck. She couldn't believe what she was doing. She went over her kinesis exercises in her head repeatedly, but it was hardly preparation for the kind of ruthlessness she would face here.
Reishi looked at the woman and studied her features. Torso armor reminiscent of the Crey Juggernauts. She wore black military boots and pants with padded fingerless gloves. Her light blue hair covering her mesh masked face, and a ventilator over her mouth. Spiked pauldrons sat on her shoulders. Frigyd had a depressed look on her face, tears, every once in a while, would break the silence by shattering on the floor.
Reishi couldn't believe this.
She honestly knew better to underestimate people based on their emotional state, after that whole Miyu debacle*, but these two women were really irking her.
One of them appeared to be crying tears of ice, and the other looked like a nervous wreck. She didn't want to get too close to the ice girl, but the nervous lady looked approachable.
"Yo, you nervous?" she asked Diana.
Frigyd lifted a hand to her face and rubbed her eyes. She couldn't stop crying, the pain was too much to handle. It appeared as though the normal woman feared her. When she was studying Frigyd and the nervous woman, she choose to talk to the nervous woman. Frigyd didn't care too much about it. She was used to being ignored.
The doors suddenly jolt open.
A Hellfrost stands in the opening, but this one seems different.
For one, it has four arms.
Also, it's holding two AK-47's in two of those arms.
It slowly walks to the counter, signing itself in and forming a Jack Frost (Wearing a bandana over it's mouth and packing a rod, no less.) to accompany it.
Two ice wielders? Reishi almost wished she had brought her winter coat...
"Oh," said Diana. "Y-Yes, a little. . ." She straightened her short blonde hair and adjusted her glasses as she turned to look at Reishi. "Are you fighting in the tournament?" She hoped not. Reishi was being quite pleasant to her at the moment. Diana didn't like the idea of having to use her full range of tactics on this girl. She looked so young. . . and Diana disliked hurting even her worst enemies. She reminded herself. . . anyone who is here doesn't care about getting hurt. It didn't console her much.
"Yup, I may not look it but I'm reeeeeal strong. Don't be nervous though, fighting should be fun!" Reishi grinned, "Though, some of the people in this tournament prefer deadly force..."
Reishi indicated the rather large, bloodstained gash on her clothes. The wound had healed completely by this time, but she couldn't heal clothes.
Diana turned slightly pale. "Ah, yes. . . I really don't know what I am thinking entering this thing. . . You are a martial artist, I gather? Or some sort of unarmed combat specialist? I'm sorry if I am being naive, I really don't study combat much. Excpet kinesis, of course. . ."
Frigyd looked at Reishi and asked in a shy voice, "Becky...Becky Morningstar did that to you, right?"
"Yeah I think I heard the name 'Becky' when she entered the arena," Reishi said, "She wasn't very strong, but her sword was sharp."
She turned back to Diana, "Yeah, I'm a martial artists. Studied most of the styles on Earth, actually. Because of my age, people underestimate me, though."
"Always a silly thing to do," said Diana. "I remember no one ever took me seriously when I was your age. It was really frustrating. . . I mean, I was the first recorded aquakinesist and I could use half stance by 12. Why does this not mean anything to these people?" She sighed. "I'm sorry. . . you're not a kinesist so you probably don't even know what I'm talking about."
"Nah, but I do know how to fight you guys!" Reishi said, "That and I know 'aqua' means you control water."
(OOC: OK so we have an ice demon, an ice girl, and a water controller...am i noticing a theme here?)
Frigyd thought for a moment, 'someone who survived Becky's onslaught? She must be powerful. I will note this in combat...'
"Alright you freaks, fights starting. Enter the arena." The guard captain said as the fighters walked into the large arena. Before their eyes they saw an apocolyptic world unfold around them. A small city scape, somewhat reminescent of Skyway City, destroyed and in ruins. Frigyd wanted a quick start, so as soon as the announcer said begin, Frigyd launched herself into the air and flew off into the destroyed city.

((Haha, was thinking the same thing. . . which reminds me, when are they going to add Water Control so I can create this character?))
Diana smiled. "I see you know your Latin," she said. "Or else have seen a lot of vigilantes named "Aqua-Something". Aquakinesis is very rare though. I was the first so no one could teach me anything. I think I'm pretty good by now though. . . at any rate I'm well into half stance theory and dual hand manipulation. Oh. . . I'm rambling again. . . sorry."
Diana entered the arena. A strange mist began to form around her, making it hard to see her. Her glasses were miraculously unaffected by all the mist. Behind them, the pupils of her eyes had vanished, leaving them looking like pools of clear water. She raised her right hand in the classic half-stance of the expert kinesist.
Reishi entered the arena but made sure to get a clear distance away from everyone else. She'd rather NOT get caught up in an extreme Snowball Fight XXXXXXXXXXXXXTREME.
Watching the enemies move around, Frigyd sat at the top of the smoking tower in the center of the arena. Looking down she saw the Martial Artist moving about trying to get to a safe spot. Frigyd jumped from the building and landed in front of her. "Hello."
"Hi. Bye," Reishi said, leaping over the ice girl and continuing to run.
She'd have to keep moving, she didn't know the limits of their abilities, but she knew she was extremely limited in this fight.
She might have to start smashing things.
Reishi was disappointed, but she knew arguing the point would just drag the conflict on and on and on and on and on...
She made a mental note to pay Becky back somehow, and, after doing a half-hearted victory dance, left the arena.
