Okay, so to make things easier for people to get into roleplay Im making this survey thing to give people a bunch of questions to ask about their characters, cause unlike me not everyone is a writer with books to pull ideas from.

My Hero has a chemical, adrenite, running through his system. He can recognize others with it, and his rival, Khymera, can sense it in others as well.

History:
I'll keep this breif.

In WWII, nazi doctor Harold Khymreich finds drug ( adrenite) and starts injecting it into captives of the nazi regime. One is an american soldier, and his best friend ( Richard's Grandfather) organizes a task force and all in the facility are exposed to the drug.

His son finds out that his body was somehow able to integrate with his own breed of nanotechnology. He brands himself the Psyman and works as a hero, but is taken down when a stranger with a pistol dibiliates his battle suit.

His son grows to the ripe age of 16 when he is attacked by fifth column troops, and an old hero ( the psyman) comes in to rescue him. again he is shot by the stranger, this time the bullet destroying the nanites in Psymans' body, dibiliating his immune system. Psykid erupts and realizes his power, learns of his past, and becomes a hero.

that is very breif, and it is so convoluted because many other characters intertwine with it.

I wish there were more people roleplaying on the Guardian server.... I love to Roleplay considering my main Character that has been dreampt up long before this game ever existed. Redhawke is a character that I have a long storyline for and I plan to develop it and post it on my supergroup site once it is up and running.

Name: Redhawke

Race(Black, White, Alien): Caucasian

Origin(Mutant, Science): Science

Hero or Villain: Hero

Archetype: Scrapper

Former Job(If Any): Artist/Painter

Current Home: Andrews Estate outside of Paragon.

Brief Physical Description: Just clearing 6 feet tall with a superior build. Wears a grey and scarlet costume with a bird emblem on the chest. Also wears a scarlet low hood with a black mask underneath. Can be seen with robotic gloves and boots or just with standard folded gloves and boots.

Brief Personality Description: Redhawke is the classic do-gooder with a passion for justice. Redhawke hs been known to be quite cold to even his closest allies but he generally cares and will do anything to help those he keeps close.

Goals and motivators: Redhawke strives to end the evils that plague the modern world. He has focused on two of his arch rivals and their respectve goons for now however.

Does your character care about Freedom Corps/Arachnos?:Redhawke respects heroes of all sorts but he has no ties to most and only primarily cares about his group.

A typical quote from your character: "Chalk this up as being at the wrong place at the wrong time..It just isn't your day is it?"

Do Heroes or Villains Recognize your character, if so how: Heroes did recognize Redhawke by his deep red feathered wings but they were ripped from his back before he came to Paragon by his rival.

History: (I will try to keep this relatively short.)
Jake Andrews was a local artist that made a modest living selling his art. After striking a deal with a local entrepreneur that was opening a restaurant, he got into trouble. He was paid 3 million for a total of ten paintings but Jake became so involved in living the highlife that his new fortune gave him that he forgot to paint the art. He was beaten almost to death by the man and his thugs. They also injected a poison in Jake that robbed him of his sight. He was contacted by a company called "Globaltek that claimed they could give him his sight back. They altered his DNA making him superhumanly strong, superior senses, speed, reflexes, and made him sprout a pair of scarlet, feathered wings. They fused his DNA with that of a predatory bird (A Hawk) He escaped their labs and swore to expose their crimes against nature as well as expose Ian Chase, the entrepreneur as the criminal he is. Jake, now Redhawke fights the crime of the earth on the Guardian server (and is looking for a RP'ing supergroup)

Name: Rock- Hopper

Race(Black, White, Alien): Maori

Origin(Mutant, Science): Science

Hero or Villain: Hero

Archetype: Ice/Stone Tanker

Former Job(If Any): Lt. Col, Australian Army

Current Home (Can be anywhere you quest at, or hang out at, or anywhere your character was born, go nuts.): Maintains citizenship in New Zealand and Australia. Has a work visa in the United States. Owns an apartment in Steel Canyon. Main patrol areas are Brickstown, Talos Island, and Founder's Falls.

Brief Physical Description: 6'-6" tall, heavily built, approx. 300 lbs. Brown eyes, small black feathers instead of hair.

Brief Personality Description: Easygoing and kind. Tends to joke a lot, particularily when in tense situations.

Goals and motivators: Wants to make Paragon city safer, primarily from hidden menaces such as Crey or the Carnival of Shadows.

Does your character care about Freedom Corps/Arachnos?: He sees Freedom Corps as a practical solution to some of the city's crime problem, but feels that Longbow often bites off more than they can chew when dealing with villain threats. He believes that Longbow should operate more in conjunction with the heroes to be more efficient in their strikes against Arachnos.

He feels that Arachnos should have been dealt with sooner, and because they have been allowed to operate as long as they have, they are now a serious threat, when they could have been eliminated much easier before.

A typical quote from your character: "Right. So, which one of you wants to get hurt first?"

Do Heroes or Villains Recognize your character, if so how: Rock-hopper is a hero dressed as a penguin. Villains often laugh at him, and he is generally recognized by other heroes because of his unusual choice of animal. Aside from that, he is more or less just one of the many heroes out there doing his job, as a baker or an accountant would.

History: After the discovery of Superadyne in the 80's, many governments feared that the U.S.S.R would try to use it as an easy way to make super soldiers. As a preventative measure, several countries began secret research into their own super soldier serums, hoping to come up with a version that did not impair the subject's judgement while under its effects.

Independantly, a small company called Crey Biotech developed a process through which the DNA of two creatures could be combined. The preliminary tests combining an ant and a mouse created a super-strong mouse. The U.S. Government saw this as the answer to their problem, and not wanting to drive away their allies, set up a program whereby each country would send a group of their best soldiers to be treated and formed into an international army.

Jason Weathers was one of the candidates sent from Australia. Born in New Zealand, his family moved to Australia when he was 5. He was an average student in school, and after graduating, he pursued a career in the military. He excelled, and quickly rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was first on the list of Australian candidates and eagerly accepted the chance to join the project.

The animal that he was chosen to blend with was a rock-hopper penguin. The treatment was successful, but Jason's initial abilities were limited to a resistance to cold, an increase in jump height, and the ability to hold his breath for prolonged periods of time. He was nonetheless accepted into the Noah Project, as it was now being called, on the virtue of his combat abilities.

However, several months after the treatment, unexpected secondary mutations began to crop up. Most of the candidates developed phenomenal abilities, but shortly thereafter died from complications caused by having internal organs mutate into those of their blended animals. Some were had internal organs crushed by a heart the size of a blue whale's, others had their bone marrow start producing hemolymph instead of blood and died of rejection. In all, 99% of the candidates in the project died.

Not wanting to be associated with a failure of this magnitude, the governments withdrew support from the program, leaving Crey to deal with the survivors. Crey paid a settlement to each party and left them to their own devices. Most returned to their homes.

Back in Australia, Jason returned to the military after being unable to gain citizenship in the United States. Almost a decade later, the surviving candidates also began to show signs of mutation. The changes happened slowly, granting Jason the ability to form a thin layer of ice over his body, which he could use to defend himself from attack. His hair fell out, and was replaced with small waterproof feathers. Shortly afterward, he found that he could manipulate stone into heavy stone gauntlets. Donning the name of the penguin that had granted him these abilities, he took to the streets of Sydney for a short while as a hero, and was instrumental in the defense of the Parliament House in Canberra during the Rikti invasion. He has returned to Paragon following Statesman's call for aid, and has thwarted many threats to the City since.

My story arcs: #2370- Noah Reborn, #18672- The Clockwork War, #31490- Easy Money

Sartre once said, "Hell is other people." What does that make an MMO?

Name: Savannah Black

Alias: DJ Savvy

Race: Human

Origin: Mutant

Hero or Villain: Villain

Archetype: Brute

Former Job(If Any): DJ

Current Home: What remains of the former XKBY Broadcasting station. Currently working to form it into her own station for Rogue Radio.

Brief Physical Description: 6'0" tall, tanned skin, and short, blonde hair defines her general appearance. Her frame is rather.. generously endowed, but beset by a slight musclature that would make the meek think twice.

Brief Personality Description: Savannah's a very optomistic person, for a Villain. Music and fun are her two loves in life, and she'll do whatever it takes for either. Of course, fun involves either dancing, or bashing someone's head through the wall.

Goals and motivators: Rogue Radio. Savannah's dream is to get her own Station up, running, and fully involved in making life tougher for Paragon's heroes by giving the Villains a break from the monotany of doing tasks. She firmly believes that there's a difference between one being called a Villan, and one being called Evil - though someone can definately be both. She has no qualms with aiding others, as long as it's all in the name of Villainy, of course.

Does your character care about Freedom Corps/Arachnos?: Savannah couldn't care less about either, though she's apalled by their 'terrible fashion sense'.

A typical quote from your character: "C'mon! Can't you do better than that?! I want a CHALLENGE!"

Do Heroes or Villains Recognize your character, if so how: Savannah hasn't yet made the big-time in the Rogue Isles, but some may have heard her occasional test broadcasts from her home.

History: (Coming in an edit!)

Figure I’d do this as an arrest report for my villain
From the Longbow integration of subject after arrest and capture:

Name: Green X

Race: Caucasian (white)

Origin: Magical

Hero or Villain: Villain

Type: Brute

Former Job: cowboy/farmhand, pirate/ship worker, biker/gang member, career criminal.

Current Home: a Villain group base, though the subject is a drifter who also wanders the rogue isles, though does seem to prefer St. martial's hotels from Longbow observation in the Rogue isles.

Brief Physical Description: the subject would be described as well built with numerous small scars across his body, mostly on his torso. A green x on his face which he claims has been their since the "accident" and appears to not be removable. Swirls white tattoos over the torso. The most unique feature is his pointed fingers which are almost like claws, almost like there’s some kind of foreign object is under the skin. When asked about this he also claimed it was because of the "accident". Long blond hair with a goatee. Subject's weight was 370 lbs. it is thought that his powers cause him to weigh more than he appears. Height was 6'1 though 6'3 while wearing a hat he was wearing while arrested.

Objects subject had on persons when arrested: 1 pirate hat, 1 leather jacket without sleeves, 1 pair of grey gloves, 1 pair of work boots, 1 pair of ripped pants, 1 Indian brand motorcycle (presumed stolen), 1 6 inch knife.

Brief Personality Description: The subject during the arrest and integration showed a great resentment for authority and rules. He used his physique and "claw" fingers to intimidate Longbow agents and anyone else who had any other kind of conflict with him while detained. Though when he was not in conflict (i.e. asked if he wanted water, asked about his personal history, so on) acted in a polite manner which could just be a way of leading people into a false sense of security. While never actually caused any physical harm to anyone while detained, he has many times after escape.

Motivations: When asked about this he replied "The longer you live, the sooner you die" it is assumed that the subject's plans are no bigger than to steal enough to get beer money. Doubted he'll be a long term threat. Though at one point did posses a "doomsday device" after raiding a troll's hideout, it is unclear if he has sold it or if he still has it.

Thoughts on Arachnos: We asked him about Arachnos due to the pro-villain nature of Arachnos, he replied that he's no one's tool. Though undercover agents in the isles have reported him working for Arachnos, it is though at this time to be mercenary work.

History: Green X, as he preferred to be called, would not tell us of his childhood or his real name, though did speak of his adolescence in which he was a stage hand in a ranch some where in Wyoming until the age of 15 when he left and when to Oregon where he listed with a ship known as the "Black Swan" more popularly known as "The Last Pirate Ship" by the mass media. After that around the age of 19 the subject then came back to the main land of North America to join a biker gang known as "The Asphalt Demons" who have members in most of the north parts of the U.S.A. and south Canada. Which are still being pursued by law enforcement officials.

While on his way to paragon city he was after a drinking game and blacking out he claims to of been abducted by the Circle of Thorns and they where going to "Body snatch him" while he was unable to protect himself. This was the "accident" he was referring to earlier in the report. He claims while he was unable to move they enchanted his body before removing his soul to take his body for their own uses. After being enchanted he claims that another grouped attacked though he can't recall what group because he claims to of blacked out again and woke up hours later covered in blood and with the green x on his face and claw like fingers he now has.

While trying to establish a chapter in paragon city. The subject was pulled over by Longbow traffic officials for not wearing a helmet, when asked about this he claimed the hat he was wearing was sufficient to protect him from danger. he was arrested after is was discovered in an ID check that he had over 1000 citations for this same thing across multiple states, and had beaten law enforcement officials to escape arrest before. Why the subject didn't beat the longbow traffic officials would be attributed to the Chaser that was hovering above watching the situation.

He was detained, integrated and then locked in the Zig for a sentenced of 40 years for attempted murder, armed robbery, the numerous traffic violations, the beating of law officials, and evading the police. While their had been some reports of violence with other prisoners, and one guard which he claims wouldn't give him back his hat. Though due to an Arachnos jail break he, and numerous other prisoners escaped to the rogue isles where the information on him has become somewhat fuzzy. Intel reports have described him as a mercenary for who ever is willing to pay him. It is predicted he has been increasing his power since escaping Longbow captivity to the Rogue Isles and has since joined the villainous group known as "The Gestalt"

Just for the heck of it... I use more Alt for Rping, but she's my main:

Name: Physic Defiance

Race(Black, White, Alien): White (very pale)

Origin(Mutant, Science): Science/technology

Hero or Villain: Hero

Archetype: Controller (Gravity and Kenitics)

Former Job(If Any): "Scientific theorist"... She basicly came up with random theories about our physical world - paralell dimensions, time traval, faster-than-light movement, ect.

Current Home: ... She has an apartment for sleeping in, but she spends most of her time in her labratory - and will eventually move to her SG's base in the sewers, once all the renovations are done. :P

Brief Physical Description: Average height, slim, teal-colored costume and purple-colored acessories, (belt, gloves, boots, hair.)
The tight-fitting costume is woven with a rather common metal alloy - somewhat like titanium. It lets her withstand attacks that any average human would perish from, but it is very insulating, so there have to be breaks in the weave to prevent asphyxiation. Her belt and gloves have complicated technology to help channel energy, and to concentrate the mental-activated powers to be more deadly.

Brief Personality Description: Educated, controlling, snippy, energetic and feminine, Physic Defiance is an ideal leader and will almost never cower. She can sometimes talk tougher than she is, and stress can make her seem uncaring or mean. But she is plagued by bad luck... Seemingly only counterbalanced when in the presence of those far luckier than she.

Goals and motivators: She feels that rather than protect the innocents of Paragon, that it is her duty to destroy the evil-doers and their agendas. And she wants to explore the possibilities of science, and it's advances, as a weapon.

Does your character care about Freedom Corps/Arachnos?: She's indifferent to Freedom Corps: She will respect their authority, but mainly she does her own thing.

A typical quote from your character:
"Of course that room would be full of filthy abominations. Why wouldn't there be? It's not like I had just been looking for the bathroom, or anything. I expected them."

Do Heroes or Villains Recognize your character, if so how: They don't recongise her other than the fact that she's a registered hero.

History: As a child growing up in a tough neighbourhood, with a tough family, and a tough life, no one expected Alexis Canning to be anything more than a cashier - or, at the most, a bus driver. But, bad luck or not, she thrust herself upon the the science world, and finally made a name of herself.

She had always been fascinated by the superheroes she saw flying or running over her city, which was a few hundred miles from Paragon, but which was passed over by heroes going places. She wanted to discover how they could do those law-bending tricks and things.

She moved to Paragon, and set up a Lab.

In the rough years to come, where most of her progress degrossed her back to square one, she made some cash at Crey Industries, helping with the more complicated projects. This funded her enough to get back on her feet.

Years later, she had become recongised globally, but had made no real progress on the super-hero issue. She had proved that time travel was possible, that faster-than-light travel was not only possible - it was being done. (The passengers were often queasy, as it required that they die for a few minutes as their existance becomes nothing. But the important thing is that it works.) gravity, she proved, was the strongest element in the globe: but it was dialuded because it could slip in between dimensions.

Anyway, she was thought to have perished in a tragic accident involving anti-matter, and never surfaced again.

Alexis took this chance to zip over to the Hero Registration desk, clutching a handful of useful gadgets, and her mind humming with possibilities. Physic Defiance was born.

Hero Name: Blazebolt

Real Name: Chase August

Race: White

Origin: Mutant

Hero or Villain: Hero

Archetype: Blaster

Former Job(If Any): Production Manager at VertTech Inc., one of many companies that specialized in finding new applications for Rikti technology.

Current Home: Has always lived in Paragon City, residing in Kings Row until shortly after becoming a Hero. After living in various sections of the city, Blazebolt currently splits his time between his SG's base and his apartment on Talos Island.

Brief Physical Description: 6'4" with dark green eyes, blonde hair and a muscular frame.

Brief Personality Description: Serious at times but mostly lighthearted and comical.

Goals and motivators: Early in his life as a hero, his goal was to arrest the Clockwork King (for reasons explained in his history) and put an end to the destruction caused by the King's minions. Since accomplishing that (at least in his on-going story, cause we all know the Clockwork King gets beat everytime someone does the Synapse TF), his goals have shifted toward proving that he's worthy of being a Hero and that his accomplishments were not for purely selfish reasons.

Does your character care about Freedom Corps/Arachnos?: He respects the Freedom Corps and will work with them if the occasion arises. On the other hand, Arachnos is quickly becoming a force to be hated in his eyes.

A typical quote from your character: "You mean that wasn't the right button? Oops..."

Do Heroes or Villains Recognize your character, if so how: Blazebolt wears several different costumes and changes them at regular intervals with exception to one of those costumes. It is the costume he wore when he defeated the Clockwork King and he is easy to recognize when wearing it.

Name: Archlich

Real Name: Long since forgotten

Race: Undead, former Human

Hero/Villain: Villain

Archetype: Corrupter

Former Job: Mu Magus

Current Home: A small pocket dimension linked to the LMOUSVEV base

Brief Physical Description: A 5' 10" skeleton wearing archaic black plate mail covered with red runes and sigils. Wears a gold circlet and his eyes are blue pinpricks of energy.

Personality: Cold, aloof, and prideful, Archlich is consumed by his quest for power. He will not hesitate to remove any obstacles in his path. But he is honorable in his own way and will always honor a debt...unless it goes against his plans in some way. Over the ages the belief in his inherent superiority over the rest of mankind has solidified. He views all others with contempt, except for those on par with him.

Goals and Motivations: Power. He cast the ritual to transform himself into a lich so as to continue magical research and increase his strength and knowledge of the arcane.

Relation with Freedom Corps/Arachnos: Regards Freedom Corps with the same contempt he reserves for the rest of mankind. Arachnos is viewed as a necassary evil, he doesn't like it but he doesn't have enough power to destroy Lord Recluse.

Quote: "I have conquered death. You are as nothing to me."

Notority: Archlich makes sure that as few know him as possible. Recently he came to the attention of the Freedom Phalanx. Lord Recluse also knows of him but prefers to leave the venerable mage alone as long as he does not interfere in his ultimate plans.

History: Born in times so long past that the specifics have long since faded from his memory, Archlich was a powerful mage amongst the Mu. Archlich was one of the few mages that researched Necromancy and death itself. His cheif interest was to learn and control as much magic as possible. He spent the majority of his life studying and researching obscure branches of magic and often creating a few of his own.

Around the end of his natural life, the mage that would become Archlich realized that dying would prevent him from continuing his studies. Resolving to find a way to escape the bane of all living things Archlich sought the aid of his peoples' sworn enemies, the Oranbegans. With the assistance of one of their powerful Death Mages, Archlich created a ritual that would transform his body into a creature that he dubbed a 'lich'. As an undead, Archlich would be free to spend the rest of eternity studying the arcane.

Long story short, the ritual succeeded and Archlich was content for many centuries until he realized that what was the use of having so much power if he never used it? He tried to take over the world once but failed, his powers stripped almost completely away. He has spent ages buidling his power back up to what it once was and he would be trying to take over the world again if it wasn't for the unexpected precenses of Statesman and Lord Recluse.

Thus, he bides his time, knowing that even those two demi-gods must meet that which he has cheated for all time.

Statesman said let there be heroes, and there were heroes.

Lord Recluse said let there be villains, and there were villains.

NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.
