is this even really a guide? Certainly doesn't help newbies or lowbies, and I see no benefit from vets reading it.
No offense, but this shouldn't have been posted in the guides section. Looks to me like just another "rate my build" post.
What do you consider a guide? If listing powers, what they do, and how to slot them is not a guide then I guess I don't know what is. That's usually what people ask for kinda like you did in the dark/dark guide section

[/ QUOTE ]I don't think you know what is. Have you read through the other guides? They use words of their own. And paragraphs with ideas in them. You quoted the original text on the general description of the power.

[/ QUOTE ]Agreed. The "guide" was more of a command. You didn't describe WHY you did anything, just that I should do the same. You didn't describe playing style, or the benefit of various powers, or anything.
It's cool if you don't want to hold everybody's hand while they seek to learn more about (your take on) the scrapper AT. It just means you don't want to write a guide.

Reconstruction and Dull Pain should be 3 recharge/3 heal much sooner than the 40's. Your slotting significantly reduces the heal of Recon, as well as both the heal and HP boost of DP.
Your reccomended MoG slotting is just plain ignorant. One resist will more than cap resistance, and *no* defense buffs are needed to greatly surpass the 95% ceiling.
I would suggest doing your homework before posting a guide in the future.
As the guide says it is a respec up to level 39. It needs to be tweeked I agree. Thats cool if you don't dig it. I posted this in the scrapper section when issue 6 hit and the devs decided for it to be here after that so I think they have a little more insight that you do. As for me not understanding what the powers are because of when they were slotted or how is ignorant. That is why it says respec build thru 39. If you don't like it move on. Nobody is holding your hand to make you sit down and read it are they? Have a nice day!
I agree with the others. This "guide" really doesn't help anyone. There is no information found in this guide that someone who needs help would really benefit from.
Try putting your own thoughts and ideas, or how to use the abilities and why.

Rule number six of an empathy defender is NEVER underestimate a blaster's ability to die. I don't care if he has CM, Fort, both RAs, bubbles (both FF and Sonic), and is fighting next to a Storm defender with hurricane on. If there is a way to die in that situation, the blaster will find it.
Post issue 6 with enhancement diversification, 13% reduction in endurance for all powers, and increase in scrapper damage I played with various different katana/regen builds until I found one to go live with and have not turned back since.

In conclusion I have found that this combination of powers has led to an effective damage dealer that can consistently take on +2-3 groups with minion, lt, and boss mixes and even +4-5 from time to time.
This is a post respec build, thus the reason why only two main attacks till 18. However prior to the repsec I carried only 2 attacks until 18 anyways.
Any powerset, epic or pool is gravy after 38.
Personally I have been able to thrive in a post issue 6 world both solo and teaming with this build. Take what you will from it and remember personal preferences are a big factor in any success your toon might have.
