Crashing when I move any items
Hmm... I can't say I'm having that issue, but I also haven't tried it. I'll log on after work and see what's what. I've been meaning to move some of those green glowy crystals for a couple days, now's as good a time as any...
I'll let you know, but don't hold your breath, it'll be a while before I get home from work! >.<
I'm not crashing, but I find myself getting banned from my base. If I'm in the edit window too long in the base, during any log in period, my changes will become illusionary and then I'll be banned from my base until I log out and log back in.
Quite annoying.
I'm having the same problem - if I try to sell an item or move one my game crashes. I hope they fix this soon otherwise working on my SG's base will become an extremely difficult job.
I think I've narrowed it down. Any rooms that were created prior to the recent patch have this issue, any created after are fine. If I move anything inside rooms which existed prior to the 11.29.05 patch then it places the item and crashes me to the desktop.
If I then go back into the game it checks the files (this is what really annoys me since it takes aroundf 5 mins) and then I check the base the item has been moved and placed at the last thing I saw on the screen as it froze.
When we paid rent, the whole SG and Coalition was barred from the base for about 2 hours ... just an FYI to those making late rent payments.

Had that happen yesterday.. Added and dresssed 2 new rooms then suddenly I was ejected from the base. Go back in and nothing is changed.
Please make sure to report these as bugs in the game. That way the info will get into our bug tracking system.
So would you like it logged at any time or only in the base? Is there any relevant information included with the bug report which relies on where I am I mean?
Doesn't the bug report I fill out when it crashes on me include all the information you need?
Bug reports capture a certain amount of information -- map, location, etc. It never hurts, however, to say "I was on X, doing such and such when this happened."

If we had a bit more room for text than what we've got, it would probably be more helpful. As it is, each time I enter a bug, I spent a bit trimming the info down as much as I can to get it to fit in the field.
I have to agree, its hard to go into details with such a small bug report. I think that if the devs want anything other than vague bug reports then they shouldn't place such a harsh limitation on the amount of text. Thanks though Zeb I'll file a bug report tonight from inside the base.

Provided you can fit enough relevant information into the bug report...
This only seems to happen within rooms that existed prior to the current patch, in a recent room I added I can move things fine. But if I move anything within an older room it crashes me to the desktop and asks me to input any details in the crashing log window.
Anyone else having this issue?
