Just guesses, but really good guesses, on what unlocks what:
Shivan Destroyer - Man in Black badge
Research Assistant - Crey Havoc exploration badge
Smasher Elite - Legionnaire or Redeemer
Zenith Warcry - Could be either Burkholder's Bane or Citadel TF

Woo Hoo! Just logged onto test server after the newest patch and in addition to Smasher Elite and Shivan Destroyer Gladiators being fixed, so were Research Assistant and Zenith Warcry Mark I. This is a test toon before I earned my 50 Arena Victories so still have to copy the current beam over to see.

Woah! The elusive triple-post in its native environment.
Sorry. Deleted one the other shows as deleted. Must have been a hiccup. Also Just moved over the current beam to Test. Hercules Titan (Grand Lanista) did not pop but Arena victory tallies didnt carry over to test so I am gonna have to wait till the patch goes live.

Not MiB. Just logged in Kit, who doesn't have MiB, and got the Shivan Destroyer. My guess is Irradiated or one of the exploration badges. All Consuming, perhaps? Obviously not from kills, as I don't think she's killed any Shivans at all, nor done the Meteor Strike mission. I will do some research and get back to you.
Could be regarding Shivan Destroyer cause Beam also Has Man in Black and all the exploration badges. Also, though probably unlikely, it could be from getting the meteor temp power.

Just tested it with a toon that has never been in BB before. Not for any single or combination of the 4 exploration badges. That leaves either the Irradiated Badge (which the toon that got Shivan Destroyer has) or possibly for completing the meteor quest and getting the pet summoning temp power (again the toon that has the Shivan Gladiator).

Hmm... well my hero has the exploration badges, the Men in Black badge, the Irradiated badge, and the summon Shivan temp power, but no Shivan Destroyer.
It is either not linked to a badge a hero can get or it is not linked to a badge at all.
Or not active yet. 
I logged in Plas, got 3 of the 4. No Shivan
I have all the explores.
Haven't done the meteor mission yet
Don't have irradiated.

We are talking about the test server, not any of the live servers. Did you log in on Test, get all those badges, and still not get it? Because my hero did get it, and so did my villain, so it must be tied to something both sides can get. My money is still on Irradiated.
A question for the CoH side badge collectors. For the 200 badges collected badge, is there is progress bar? In CoV I recieved the pathfinder badge for 100 badges, I am up to 116 badges and I do not see a progress bar for 200 badges.
Side note:
Astartus, the Coralax Blue Hybrid gladiator is 200 points
Yes, the progress bar is the ??? badge way down near the Croatoa badges.
Ok, logged in test with my pre-CoV pathfinder, got all 3 but Shivan.
Tried then with my post-CoV pathfinder (all explo + Men in Black + Irradiated), and i got the Shivan.

Hmm.. what time did that patch go up... I'm certain I was on the Test server yesterday...
Heh.. ok.. four new Gladiators on the Test Server, including the Shivian Destroyer.
Just want to add:
Any kill badge + gladiators form CoH CAN be obtained for CoV if you find the mob.
This friday, me and some friends are gona farm an indoor Troll CoV mission (Broker lvl 10-15) and try to get our Calibans for CoV. Calibans+Cobras+Red Hands+Swift Steel.... sweeeet.

While Vidiot maps lists Boulder as a CoV badge for 100 boulder... Proves Vidiots don't know eveything.
Finally, some guy on Protector said he got Koallin of Earth WHILE doing the Silver Mantisse TF. Strange since it implies no Legacy... I'll try to learn more...
Silver Mantis was bugged and given the Scorpion Clan badge. Koalin of Earth is tied to that badge, though it's no longer for Silver Mantis. Mantis gives out Air Pirate now.

Crey Havoc = Research Assistant. Confirmed.
Plot Device has Man In Black and all the exploration badges, but no Shivan Destroyer.
I think that means that Shivan from Irradiated is confirmed.
If I can camp Bloody Bay overnight and get it, I'll have an even more concrete confirmation.

Okay the patch went live and the four previously broken badges that were fixed on test are there (Smasher Elite, Research Assistant, Zenith Warcry and SHivan Destroyer). However, no trigger for Grand Lanista or Herc on my toon. I have literally 52 (50 rated) Arena victories. Hmm maybe its more. Perhaps it will trigger with your 150 Taser?

I'll let you know when I hear from Impadivus if he got the badges upon log in.
It might be 100, though. If he doesn't get it, we might have to try restarting the count. Maybe matches won before this patch went live were bugged and don't count.

The latest patch on Test fixed a number of bugged gladiator badges. I logged in with my main (hero) and got Research Assistant, Zenith Warcry, Shivan Destroyer, and Smasher Elite.
