Armies of Evil isnt really an RP VG, we are all MMs and were all pretty good at being [censored], so thats kinda like RPing a villain, but we love people new to the game, gives us a chance to show the true power a Masterminds in large groups
This seems like the most logical place to seek a SuperGroup.
My friends and I are new to the server (Not necessarily to CoH) and we are actively seeking an established SuperGroup to join. We're not real big on the PVP environment, but everything else is just fine.
Ideally, we'd like a supergroup with all of the Teleporters activated, who has active members during the times we play (Evenings and weekends, eastern time zone. Not afraid to say it, we're usually in bed by 11 PM Eastern. :P Comes from waking up at 5:45 AM!)
Here's a bit of background on us.
My character is Winter Wendigo, currently a level 12 Ice/SS tanker. My previous characters include a 50 Elec/Elec/Ice blaster on Freedom (Laaagdom!), a 30 Rad/Rad Defender on Pinnacle, a 25 FF/Sonic Defender on Freedom, and various other sub-30's on various servers. Gravitron Clockwork is my real-life friend from work. He's currently a 14 Grav/Emp controller (possibly switching to Grav/Force Field). He's been playing about as long as I have (a solid year and some change)
Phoenix Guardian is a friend of mine who lives in California. She's currently level 12, Fire/Fire blaster. This is her first foray into City of Heroes, so she's not quite experienced with all the in's and outs. But she's a quick learner.

The Flying Stilettos Sorority
A new SG - just five weeks old - that hopes to build and grow.
I guess you could say that the owner is Burgundy Flame - although it started out as just a private group for my 12 alts. And while we do have a base, we don't have telepads as of yet.
The only requirements area:
-A female toon with stilettos - heels, strappys or thigh-highs allowed - on their costume. (However, please, no nudes.)
-Bios arn't required, but I feel that they add to the enjoyment of the game.
-Be courtious to others in the game, be it another sister or anyone from the Infinity community. Whether it be help in a mish or just a shoulder to cry on, we won't judge.
-Contrary to our name, your toon does not have to be able to fly.
-We are a young group, but won't insist that you grind prestige and salvage for us five days a week. All I would ask is that you drop by at least once a week and help out where you can. (We do ask that you drop off at least some of your salvage to the group, so that we are able to build up.)
-We ask that if you come across someone who you feel would make a good addition to the SG - after asking if they want to join first - contact one of the Presidents or First Sisters to let them know. I personally don't agree in actively recruiting just to get new members to do the prestige grind.
-If you're going to be away for an extended period of time - I know that everyone needs a vacation from time to time - please let one of us know.
The only thing that I feel we won't be is a raiding SG.

The Knights Of Tragedy is a newly formed Super Group. I won't lie: At the moment we're trying to get things together and we're really in the early stages. Not only that, but my second in command and I aren't even level 20 yet!
However, we do have a pretty good head on our shoulders, as well as an occasionally wicked sense of humor (despite our name) and for the most part like to socialize a bit. Also, I like to keep a open mind, and will try to ensure that your experience with us is as pleasant as I can possibly make it. Not only that, but I enjoy role-playing on occasion as well as PVP, though I'm admittedly a noob to it in this game.
So whether your a lowbie and feel like making that sometimes long and brutal level climb with a friendly, regular group of players trying to make that same climb, or are starting a new character, or are in the higher-levells and don't mind passing on your knowledge to yet another generation of COH-ers, feel free to join. This is a new SG on Infinity with a Website & Forums, a (Developing) Base in-world...and we're looking for more members who will be on almost every day of the week, especially in the evening.
There are no level 50's on the Team yet, like somebody else said "No feeling of being overshadowed". We have one or two CoX Veterans so far, but this SG was Founded with the idea of helping each other out as players who are either starting out, or under level 30; answering each others' questions, doing missions together, and generally just forming a more cohesive Team of Super Heroes.
This SG is still in it's infancy, but it's not meant to be a "n00B" team full of arguments and typical "n00B" behavior...all of the first members were hand-picked, and nobody has been
"blind-invited " yet!
Compare this to a spinoff of an older Super Hero team in an actual comic, just with more members. That's our concept.

Infinity Forever has been around for a little over a year (since early 2006) and is always recruiting and looking for new players who are both good sports and are looking for a family to be a part of. Villain-side, all-traps-all-the-time! We accept only corruptors or masterminds, but any primary in those ATs is welcome - as long as your secondary is traps.

Our Base has all the Teleporters. A Full Hospital. With an Auto-Doc (To buy Respites & Catch a Breaths and can sell all Salvage, Recipes, CABs, Respites, and all other Tier 2 and above Inspirations) , the Robo-Surgery (which boosts your health, when you go to your SG base instead of the hospital, should you fall in battle. When its fixed-hint hint devs) and the Combat Logs (which sells you break-free inspirations).
We have a very large base with some of the "Shiny" toys most base builders dream about. Our base has the Autonomous Expert System with creates 1500 Control for our Base. We also are one of only a few SGs in all of the Game and were the first on Infinity Server to place a Fusion Generator in their Base. Our Coalition has a Ventrilo Server we share which benefits us all for great teaming opportunities.
Our SG membership considers itself to be PvE oriented. Though an occasional romp in a PvP zone does happen on occasion.
Our SG runs Generally runs one of the Main 6 TFs every Saturday Afternoon, and we run the STF at least 2-3 nights a week. Other TFs are run as requested or if someone "gets the urge"

Hi. Dangerous & Courageous are sons of Original Lee. Deciding to use their powers for good, they have started Adverb, hoping to connect with similar heroes. Dan is current lvl 36 and Coury is lvl 23. We unconditionally welcome any new hero whose name happens to be an adverb to join us in our effort to save Paragon City through comedic use of the English language.
We have 11 members so far, so we are just starting out with the base, but it is coming along nicely. Already have a Teleporter, Rez Ring, empowerment stations, Personal Inventory Vault, Crafting Table and several storage racks.
To move from rank to rank will require a small ceremony involving 3 members of at least your own rank (one of whom must be higher to make the promotion) after you reach level 10. The majority must agree that your use of name, powers, and costume is appropriate/juxtappropriate/outright hilarious.
We have no policy on roleplaying; though with the care people will put into making these toon, you should expect it.
If we someday get big enough where we can toss rewards around like candy, we even have a couple tournament ideas in mind.
We are not pvp centered, but we know Dastard Lee and others are out there - so we know that day will come.

[u]Level Requirement:[u] Mmmmmm... at least level 5. You can get to that in no time, and we're all under level 22 so far anyway (a few Alts included). We're DEFINITELY not a "PL'ing SG", even though we ain't against it. We (actually!) hunt, do missions, whatever. Anyway, we're a "lil guys and gals SG" for now, but we're drinkin' milk, so don't bully us cause we're gonna be big and strong.
[u]Summary:[u] We're not all necessarily... "Superheroes". This is where the "Renegade" part comes in. Sure, we can shoot lightning out of our palms or whatever, but we're just residents of Paragon City who have a hobby (or jobby) of cleanin' up the streets or beatin up Trolls for pocket change. We don't believe that Meta-Humans/"Registered Heroes" are "above" the citizens. You either got lucky, or (probably) decided to become a "Government Sanctioned Vigilante".
(As you can tell, we're RP-friendly =P )
[u]Conduct:[u] Just because Paragon City recognizes you as a "Registered Hero", doesn't mean your actions must follow a "Captain America" or "Superman" code of behavior. Actually, it's becomin' more and more rare to see that around Paragon City. Yay! Kill Skuls.
[u]Why was this group formed?:[u] ...to make a place for us to store our supplies, build inventions, and most importantly, to build relationships with MATURE players.

Warning: sometimes you will hear a blast-wave of cuss-words from the mouths of a few members, (usually directed at the Circle of Thorns) but once again...nobody's perfect, and the Renegade Spades sure as hell ain't role models! We'll be running around in the evenings, Monday through Thursday, and most of the time Friday through Sunday. Our current highest level in the teams is 15, but are more than happy to see higher levels join. We have an awesome-looking yet relatively new base (storage, basic crafting table, medical teleporter) for each, with member numbers already up in to teens/20s. We are working towards transporters to go to our favorite haunts: Perez Park, Hallows, Croatoa, and Dark Astoria.

Thought i would update this thread with SWs latest. We are not much in to educating new players, moreso just pile driving baddies with experienced ones.
Statesman's Watch comprises mainly experienced heroes who have fun badge collecting and taking on new issues with vigor! We do enjoy helping out new players, but mainly get into the game grind and figuring out different ways to obliterate the bad guy. Lots of variables in this game, and we love to explore them all..:-)
We started out one year ago primarily as a PVE SG and have since reached out to other areas of the COX experience, such as badge collecting, designing an award winning base, crafting, and our newest edition, a PvP team.
We have recently started an elite PvP Team in hopes of becoming a strong competitor in the PvP area of COX. Arena battles, kickball, gladiator tournies, etc.
So if you are an experienced player and into PVE, Statesman's Watch may be for you. Comprised of four individual groups, the main is currently ranked #25 on Infinity server, and with our original SG - Faith of the Fallen, SW Reserve, SW PvP Team and a rich coalition roster, we run TF's, and power teaming almost daily. (We do mentor, but sry no PL'ing as in the words of our Xog2 "I don't pay 15 bucks per month to sit at the door")
If you are into PvP or just interested in exploring a new COX adventure, you may wish to look into the Statesman's Watch Elite PvP Team, where 'ownage' is our middle name, 'fun' is to blame, and 'competitive teaming' our main game. PvP is not just owning or being pwned in sirens call, it is yet another awesome fun COX experience that most do not realize. Team competition is GREAT fun!!!... come on down and give it a go..:-) No purchase neccessary..:-)
