Ah the wonders of Nickelodian and their retro commercials...You'd have to be a fair bit older to have seen the original airings.

Not really. I saw them on ABC when I was but knee-high to a grasshopper, and I am 30 now. They came on during Saturday Morning Arcade on NBC as well. Nick wasn't even a thought in my parents mind til 84.
Any news on I1/I7, devs? States?
In the supergroup list, it would be nice to see a note section for each so guild leaders can encourage member to put the name of main alts. Some people will have several alts in the same super group and it would be a nice reminder tool for everyone who is who

That commercial first aired in 1970, so if you have a really good memory, I would say you would have to be about 40 to remember it. Hell, I am older than that and I barely remember it. ( I do still remember the Frito Bandito, and that song.....- ugh)

But, in some areas, the comercial aired up to the early 80's in the kids section on Saturday morning (back when it was nonstop from 7-11AM kids cartoons). Last I remember it was maybe 82-83, around the time Saturday Arcade was taking off the air (in my area).
I just purchased City of Villains and for some reason I have created a Tanker which is a hero. How can this be? I own a brand new unopened copy. I want to make a villain. Is something wrong with my game? Can I create a villian. I need some answers. Thanks
This question has to do with the fire power of burn, the power was it seams was overpowerd at one time and was nerfed both in damage it did and the recharge time. Now with the addition of ED and the change to herding, which was where all us fire tanks made a ton of xp, can we please have our burn back the way it was in the beginning.
I was simply pointing out that to have seen it the first time around, which I did, you would have to be at least 40. I know the commercial still airs to this day on cable TV, some folks dont realize just how old the commercial really is. I still get a chuckle when I see it, sometimes the old stuff is the best stuff.
I understand, and I was also pointing out that you don't have to be 40, nor own cable/dish to know the commercial. Sort of like Mikey.

And please give us some more info on the Avilans.. no vague answers like "soon"(tm) or anything unclear.. any facts about the AT or when it will be released?
Other MMOs get previews of what's coming.. we should have that as well.
I'm not even sure I'm posting in the correct area. I wanted to say that the following tihngs should be added to the game.
Firstly ingame email is horribly limited when it comes to supergroup. In all other mmo's there is the ability to email the entire SG with a single command in the TO: line
ie. TO: guild
This is limited in CoV/CoH to having to type every single name in the sg into the TO: line and then limited to the number of names you can add. In my opinion you guys need to add the word SUPERGROUP as a global email to everyone within your supergroup. This would need to be added to the supergroup options so that only leaders of the sg's can choose who they want able to email the entire sg.
2nd. Global Friends list and Supergroup List need to have a column for comments. This would allow notes to be placed next to names so for example in the global friends you can add the name of the toon you're used to them playing. I have several players on my friends global that play heroes and their global is their hero whom i've never met, thus making life difficult.
In supergroup the column could be used for public info like players on vacation.
3rd. the Reply for instant chats needs a toggle that rotates the reciplicants name. This would allow for less mistells.
IMHO, this game is lacking alot compared to the other MMOs. Strip all of the MMOs out of their themes, and you'll find CoX is lacking alot. I expect the game to catch up though. The only thing, IMO keeping players interested is the theme.. which is one of a kind.
I really do hope they implement more things though, because just doing missions alone is boring. Sure, PvP is fun, but which MMO doesn't want to have PvP anyway? I would expect this game to grow out of the norm and introduce new things the MMO community hasn't seen before.. hopefully.. lol
BESIDES the insane amount of content WoW has...what MMO's r u talking about? SWG? MO? Guildwars?
