The Tempest Legion, an ancient and honorable mercenary band was reformed from a core of 12 or so members. From this group, we set out to create a SG that we could all call home.
We are a group of mature, experienced and active players. Most players in the group are over 20. We like to team and to have fun. The only strict rules that we have are that we expect our members to be helpful and courteous both within and outside of the SG. Power-leveling is discouraged.

Recruits are required to team with the SG officers before being invited, and no recruiting is done via spam recruit. We are a close knit, tight group with our own TS server, and Forums. We are a small SG that does a bit of everything. We have about 20 very active members, and around 20 more semi-active.
We are a more mature SG, all adults ranging from aging 19-45. Lots of military/ex-mil guys, but our other members include everything from Aussies to Koreans.
We are not a RP'ing SG, we use ventrilo voice comms and enjoy the game as is. We're not against powerleveling, but most of have a level 50 or two allready and become bored with it quite easily.
We quite simply, enjoy the PVE content of the game. We like making new characters, doing big missions and TF's, helping each other out, and mainly laughing at each other over ventrilo.
We're not a "power guild" and don't take much very seriously; however, we do like this game and grouping with one another and play quite a bit. If this sounds like a SG you're interested in, please send me a PM here on the forums.

Guild Description: Shadow Justice is an RP supergroup whose theme is fear. We are looking for any hero that utilizes fear as part of their standard tactics. With this in mind, the only requirement for the group is that you have some form of Fear power by the time you reach security level 40. If your hero is already 40+ and are interested, this restriction can be pushed back to 50. Intimidate and Invoke Panic from the Presence Pool are acceptable Fear powers so all AT are welcome in Shadow Justice.

Our Group is known as Dark Serenity because there is always a price that one must pay for their version of Peace. The Gods know that in itself is irony at best.

Hm.. the best way to addressed this is that without dark there would be no light, without light there would be no darkness. We are the ones where the Dark meets the Light but bound by neither. This has been tried and true from the beginning and will be so till the end. We are a collective group that are as different as night and day. Each person is an individual who has their own personality and ways of doing things. Many will tell you this could be a problem, we however feel that as we are a group of mature individuals whom are old enough to handle whatever may arise. There will be differences, but that is to be expected, to say otherwise one would be lying.

A politically progressive pan-American movement has been growning in the countries of Latin America. It is in part a reaction to their exploitation and subjegation by U.S. corporate interests. But even more, it is an expression of hope and devotion to idea that the hard work and resources of the region be dedicated to the benefit of all its people.
Led by the democratically elected Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, and the old line communist Fidel Castro of Cuba, the movement has grown from an exchange of resources within Latin America to the formation of the first pan-American super group called, Americas Unidas (Americas United). Super powered representatives from every nation of Latin America have clamoured to join. The group, which has been instrumental in disaster relief across South and Central America, has now offered to extend a helping hand to Paragon City, and its overwhelming battle to contain the paranormal forces unleashed during the Rikti invasion.
The sudden and mysterious appearance of Cuban superhero El Cometa in Paragon City has provided Americas Unidas the representative it was seeking to provide leadership for its efforts there. Having demonstrated both his courage and and kindness in helping the citizens of Paragon City against a host paranormal entities, El Cometa was asked to serve as Commandante of the Americas Unidas Paragon City chapter. El Cometa has graciously accepted, and invites all like minded paranormals to join the cause. Americas Unidas is dedicated to promoting harmony between the citizens of the United States and the nations of Latin America, and in helping provide a measure of protection to the citizens of Paragon City against the paranormal threats they face every day.

You do not have to be Latin American or politically left-wing to join Americas Unidas, however, you do have to be prepared role-play a politically progressive Latin American themed character to join. Americas Unidas is not a staunchly communist super group like CCCP on Pinnacle. You can play a Latin American super hero that is everything from a hard-core communist and anti-capitalist, to a new left socialist who is more a passionate grassroots nationalist than revolutionary guerilla. The focus of the group is on strongly representing the interests of Latin America, as well as working tirelessly to help the downtrodden in Paragon City, especially in the poverty stricken sections of the city.
Ideally, character origins should have a distinctly Latin American flavor. This can include the use of Latin American indigenous cultures, such as the Inca and the Maya. You might also want to draw from Cuban Santaria. On the other hand you may want to draw on the revolutionary movements from the Latin American left-wing past. Cuba in particular has a rich history of resistance. Character names should generally be in Spanish, or Portugese. You can go to Altavista's Babelfish to translate an English name into either of those two languages.
If you want to join with a new character, and you have an idea of the kind of Archetype you want to play, but you aren't sure what his/her origin would be, we would be willing to help you figure out a name and background.

Guild Description: The official story on us is: The WDI was founded as the UN's response to the ever growing terror threat and the increase in inhumane metahuman activity. The WDI answers formostly to the UN and secondarily to the countries it represents. Every member of its troupe is from a different country, and that memeber is the country's chosen representitive. He or she exemplifies the behavior of that country and of the UN, but his or her actions are not completley reflective of the country's nor the UN's methods.
