As always, this chapter left me wanting more.

I laugh at my wife sometimes when I watch 24 or Heroes as the episodes tend to end in cliffhangers and they never complete a full story each week. She complains that "She hates these shows"

I now know how she feels. When reading these, you get to a point where you can't wait to read what happens next and then find your at the bottom of the post and there's nothing after it.

Can't wait for the next chapter.

That's the boat I'm in. I could probably take the day off but I would never hear the end of it when she and the kids would want to go to the beach or something.

I have to admit, that I have taken days off for COH events in the past (when I was still a single-guy and not a family-guy). It's just harder to do now. Especially with my step-daughter wanting to hog the COH-time on the computer away from me.

Never did I dare think that something like the skinvintational (knowing the type of art generally linked to in the forums) would end up making me lose my lunch...thank you Mr. Majesty

I guess it's just not meant to be. I have tried my work computer and two home computers and whenever I follow DarkEther's link above I get a white screen and the browser stating "Done"

I've cleared my cache and even rebooted to see if there was some issue with the video card but nothing will display from the /heromorph2 page.

This one started it for me. Read it, then went back to the store to get the previous and a couple months later I had [almost] a full collection.

I used to review Heromorph a long time ago but I thought it had closed up. Whenever I try to reach the gallery now (in firefox or IE) you click on gallery and it goes to heromorph.com/heromorph2 and just displays a blank page.

The Dpwnloads Central page is the only one that displays normally.

You lumped Swift and Hurdle into one tier, which is not the case.

1: Swift
2: Hurdle
3: Health
4: Stamina

My understanding is that the tier-4s will still require level 20 and 2 previous powers in the pool to unlock them. Your earlier example of taking team teleport without any pre-reqs is not (or should not) be possible.

Nope, Swift and Hurdle are both Tier 1s. They are both opened for availability at level 6.
Level 14 opens Tier 2 - Health
Level 20 is the Tier 3 power - Stamina

There is no tier 4 Pool power.

I for one love the 60 Month Reward.

Now, I realize that this comes across as "Yeah well your getting it" but I don't see how this is going to be as unbalancing as some people are claiming.

It's a great gift for people who have proven to be loyal to the game. This is coming from somebody who's main is a Regen Scrapper. The first couple of years every time they moved the game forward with a new patch they nerfed Regen. People argued, whined, tested, persevered and/or quit and, in the end, I think most people (still playing) think that the game is better for it.

With the introduction of temp powers, having the travel power early and (possibly) gaining an extra power [I think a lot of people will still be using the Tier 1 powers on most builds] is not that game threatening.

For those who are saying "We'll never get it" then obviously this game may not be for you. When I started playing this game it was different enough that it could keep my attention and I knew I would be playing for a long time. Every other MMORPG I have tried lost my interest within 6 months. COH is still has my interest, game-time, and monthly fee after nearly 5 years.

The Vet rewards are achievable by everyone who subscribes. The devs did not put a limit on these saying only people who subscribed to the game in 2004 get the rewards. If they did that I would agree that it would be unfair. However, what they did was say look what you can get if you stay with is three more months, 6 more months, 2 years, etc.

That explains why I haven't heard of them, I haven't done a Hami raid in over a year. Although I do play on Virtue so I'm now sorry I missed this particular run.

The video with all the nukes dropping at once was awesome

Dumb question from a long term vet but what is an EOE.

My play time has reduced so I generally either run standard missions or jump straight into a TF. I've done the Warburg nuke runs and the Shivan runs but I am failing at identifying the EOE.

I can't say enough about how nice Squisherific (not using her real name on forums although I think she has it on her DA site) is to work with.

I sent here a several pictures of Dhesiree both in game and in the Costume designer as reference and she really got all the details accurate and would email questions when she came across something that she thought I might have concern with.

The price may be high compared to other forms of character art available but the craftsmanship is well worth it.

There are a lot of free items for Poser as well as a huge list of user generated items for sale from various websites includeing Content Paradise linked above.



Renderosity has a huge market of clothes, items, characters, and models that are designed for Poser. There are specific areas designed for superheros, fantasy, and other genres.

Poser 6 for $30 is a very good buy and Content Paradise is a legit Poser dealer so I wouldn't worry about it being illegal. I think they are offering great deals on version 6 because version 7 has been released now.

I believe a lot of people utilize a second account/computer to achieve what your looking for.

With a second account, you can generally get whatever angle you want to see another character.

I may be wrong but I don't think there is a way to disconnect your camera to get a free roaming feel so you always going to have difficulty getting weird angles when zooming in,

Yeah, I think if you have any power on that gives you +health like dull pain, you can survive the self destruct.

I tried it on my Regen scrapper with NO dull pain and died both times.
Tried it on Will Power Tank with all his toggles active (forgot the name of the +health power) and he survived both times without his body. The first time I had to log off and back on but the second time I had just triggered an ambush so I let them kill me and then revived.

I was looking through some of my screenshots the other day and cam across a few that almost made me miss the old, pre-i4 days.

Who here remembers the days when entering the mission to fight Chimera and he sent almost every ninja on the screen after you when you entered the graveyard?
