Heromorph?

Heromorph is an art site. It used to be primarily photomanipulation, and there's still a good but of it, but now it shows 3d pieces, traditional art, coloring, some fan fic, and so forth. It's mostly comic hero-related stuff, though there is some of everything there, including some of the 2-click variety, which is why I didn't link to it - just put the site name/address in text.
A few of the folks there are also on DA, and some of them have done commission work for me and a few others.
DJ and a couple others have joined there and contributed, along with the awesome work by Bruce Colero (google him to find examples of his stuff from his two books and elsewhere, as it's more mature art).

Yes, go to Heromorph.com and there's a linked image below the thumbnails that has a silhouette and the word "Origin" at the bottom of it - click that to link to the forum thread about it.

Careful about checking Heromorph from work. It's a fairly NSFW site.
I used to review Heromorph a long time ago but I thought it had closed up. Whenever I try to reach the gallery now (in firefox or IE) you click on gallery and it goes to heromorph.com/heromorph2 and just displays a blank page.
The Dpwnloads Central page is the only one that displays normally.
I've been trying to get to Heromorph all weekend and my browser stops before loading. Are they offline? It's been severa ldays now with no luck.

I guess it's just not meant to be. I have tried my work computer and two home computers and whenever I follow DarkEther's link above I get a white screen and the browser stating "Done"
I've cleared my cache and even rebooted to see if there was some issue with the video card but nothing will display from the /heromorph2 page.
Tray going to www.heromorph.com, then clicking the Heromorph Artist Community linked area on the left side.
BTW, 3D artists, the other link to the downloads has some freebie stuff available. There's also some tutorials and some 2D stuff, as well.

I was having the browser-load-problem too, but I waited a few days and it's working now. I think they're re-designing the site and some sections are just settling into place.
But the duo-awards on Heromorph is really cool. Between that and the 'Daily Deviation' over at DA, I gotta figure out a way to keep up the momentum.

Anyone else who is a member over at Heromorph.com, voting has started for the Heromorph awards for 2008. Our very own Darkjedi is nominated in two categories, so keep him in mind as you're voting! Also, Chillyplasma, who has done a few pieces for me and others here, is nominated as well.
There's some cool art to look at, if you just want to check it out. You might find some styles you'd like to commission, too. I know I have several of them.
