Striga TF is awsome!

I do wish that the Moonfire taskforce had:

A) A badge.
B) An AV that was not able to unlimitedly heal herself every 3-4 min.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can't help you with the badge, but you might like to know that Arakhn's healing is *not* unlimited. The more people there are close to her, the more damage she heals when she fires it off. You just have to stay out of melee range when it's time for the mega-heal power to activate.

The only disappointment for me was that the AV didn't get in the 'construct' (not waiting to spoil too much!) at the end and it then animating and attacking the team! Maybe asking just a bit much though

I agree with a bunch of others here - best TF by far!

That's the last thing we need o.o It took us two tanks to keep his retinue busy while I was balancing on 0 endurance and fighting to keep my debuffs up and keep everyone alive.

It was the most intense Defending experience I ever had though

What the Hess Tf doesn't have is a souvenir like Synapse. I'd love to have a blurb about the story to remember the TF by.

I agree to a certain extent with you comments about the ship mishs. There's great the first coupld of times and then they start to wear a little. I only did the last 2 contacts the first time and I just started working through Peeble's mishs with a lower level friend.

I also just want to play devil's advocate though.

I do like how the contacts in the Hollows (5-15) and Striga (20-30) don't send you all over the place and the zones encompess a larger level range. I've done KR, SC, Sky quite a few times. I did a lot of IP, Talos and DA also. I found it nice to play through a wide level range in a pretty good zone without having to jump to 6 other zones to complete mishs. I think the small geographic area in which the Hess TF really puts the exclamation point on this design decision and it's a good one.

Hmm I did it this weekend, and never had to repeat goals/maps as you mentioned. So it sounds like you had a bug going there. If you're talking about the Radar stations... It was in 3 different locations for me.

No, I'm talking about the first mission, to recover two...documents? We had to do that three times, all in the same location. As soon as we left, we got the mission to go back in and do it again. There was only one person in our group who had done it before but she indicated it had happened in her previous attempt so we assumed it was intended.

Guess I'll bug it. Certainly made for a much longer night since those were all kill-all missions.

Yeah, that does show up as a bug. What happens is the TF doesn't realize you've completed the mission even though you did. If you knew you completed it, just go back to the contact and get the next mission.

There's a possibility the contact lost track of who the team leader is. Even though you can't change team leader status during the TF, this somehow happens and you will have to have every person on the team check with the contact until it accepts that person. Then it will move on to the next mission.

2) Lots of tile setting maps! Much better then the, "Oh look, another Fifth Column tile set".

[/ QUOTE ]
But a lot of it -- along with all the other mission maps for the door missions against the Council that Lars and Tobias Hanson send you on -- are still the same 'tunnels snaking around between chambers with constructed platforms' tileset that we've seen in every Council base since the first one. With all of the scrambling up and down on uneven surfaces going through the tunnels, I have to wonder how much of the Council manpower is out of commission with sprained ankles -- and we see good-sized crates all over the bases, but with those tunnels, the only way to get them into the bases is to carry them. You'd think that, on an island where the Council doesn't have to hide so completely, they'd expend the effort to make it easier to keep their installations supplied. The missions into the buildings in the base, except for the minor reality check problem about the mission map actually fitting inside the building that every door mission has (and which would be too much of a rude pain to fix), are much better done, and I hold out hope that, over time, we'll get enough additional tilesets so that the rest of the Council base becomes something more than an endless series of stereotypical tunnel installations.

I think she's near the trainer in Striga. Just look on your map for the trainer icon.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Map of Striga Isle

Hess is the big Task Force that everyone is talking about. The leader of the TF has to have it unlocked by completing missions in Striga. I'm not sure which contact.

Moonfire is right beside Ravenstorm (on the same rock). Hess is on the SouthEast side of the Island.

Yeah, the Striga TF is awesome, but really, I think they should focus less on TFs and more on Trials. I mean, the Eden Trial, oh man, that mission is AWESOME! I want to see more stuff like that mission, devs!

Issue 16 made me feel like this.
