((Sorry. I was around the whole time, but was just letting the Blind Guardian guy-story run through. I probably would have waited for Medb to talk again, but didn't want anyone to think I had bailed.))
((OOC: Ok, that's three so far. And I'm assuming that manofmanychars is still around here some where. The same goes for Genius4Hire and Master_Mind. The ones we haven't heard from for even longer, however, are Mazement, Citizen_Stu, Unknown_Hero, and Palaquinn. I'll try PMing them if we don't hear from them soon.))
(OOC: Yeah, I'm still alive, but waiting for Hermod to respond.)

Trevor wasn't happy about heroes getting involved, but it looked like he needed them. "Alright then, Breakdance, you might want to stay out of sight, same for the Containment. Someone might decided that having 'heroes' around is a bad idea." Someone like me. He picked up the emerald or whatever it was and put it in his pocket. Maybe Will can figure it out. But first things first. "Alright," He thought if he could trust Breakdance Kid. He decided that if he was going to trust him to save Alice then he could trust him to save to world, or how ever much damage the weapon could do. "We need to stop the weapon from falling into the demon-things hands. We can go about this two ways, one we could stop Medb from getting the weapon or two we kill the deamon before Medb gets her hands on it. Atleast those are the ways I could see doing it."
Ghost dodged and ran by Will and got his pistol back. He shot again and a well placed shot hit Will in the shin. That should slow him down. Ghost was impressed, it's not that Willwas faster than him, noone could do thta, but he was good a predicting his moves. But Will was loesing it, he was after all only human.
Dark Mason heard the sounds coming from outside his room. He looked out then decided to help will by casting a spell over his opponent to keep him from moving much faster then Will. Then he put his hands up in the air and muttered a few words in intense concentration. A mark on his hand flashed leaving Ghost moving at normal speed. He could do no more to help Will because it took intense concentration to keep Ghost from escaping his spell.

Disco Inferno was glad to hear that Trevor had accepted his idea, "You should tell Will soon, he'll probably be delighted. Oh, and if you're still suspicious, I'll tell you now that The Contaminant is walking the fine line between following the law and breaking it."
"I don't always donate when I see charity jars," said The Breakdance Kid, honestly thinking that he was helping his case.
"Breakdance, ...don't, just don't, okay?" was all Disco Inferno could manage to say in response.

((OOC: Here's a tip, Medb is going to be pissed when she finds out that BDK and Contaminant found a way into the Tower. As such, they should do what they can to not be seen by her or any of the other characters. They are welcome to be in the story even so, but they won't be put into Medb's plans. Let me know if I need to clarify a bit better.))
Kathy feel asleep some time ago, in the wierd reverse tower.

"Will needs some time to decompress after remebering Alice. It would be a good idea to stay away from him, it's not that he gets anger, he just can be dangerous." He glanced at Breakdance. "Don't take this place to lightly, it's kinda like an convention center for villians, anyone relizes your a 'hero' you might wake up. But you might not like where you wake up though. I'm going to wait for Will in my room, you can find me if you can come up with a better plan or if our mysterious friend contacts you." And with that he left the room. Why me?
Ghost looked at the new combatant, he didn't like where this was going. He was having trouble staying out of phase with time and the other man packed a mean punch. "I WILL KILL YOU TRAITO...What!?!...errr, fine" He reached into a pouch just as Will was coming at him. He pulled out a gernade and pulled the pina and ran. A bright flash of light covered the halls, Ghost covered his eyes and started to run and noticed he could phase through time now and made it away from them. "You better have a good plan...Wheres that?...Right."
(OOC Note: Ghost used a flash gernade, it isn't a normal weapon, but it is a temp power in the game and he doesn't have many. I would kill him, but big things are instore for him apperantely. I hope I didn't take to much liberty with Ghosts escape Combat, but your post said it was taking his full concentration to slow him so I thought a bright flash would be enough to break it some what and the further he got away the harder it would be, right. If theres a problem tell me before I can't edit it anymore.)
"Ummm, Disco? Mind if I just hide? I know my gadgets work now, but I had a run-in with an illusionist. My anti-psionics headband wasn't working, so he tripped the alarm, so if he sees me, he'll blow the whistle, and you might get in trouble."
"Go ahead, Breakdance, I'll tell The Contaminant to hide with you, so you don't wander anywhere shouldn't."
"Thanks. I'll try to stay near your location, in case you need help at any time."
"Okay, just stay invisible."
"You got it."
(OOC: That's the last you'll see of TBK until either A) Disco Inferno is in big trouble, or B) After this whole business with Medb is done. The Contaminant needs to arrive, then he'll disappear under the same conditions.)

After the meeting with Medb had ended, Kirke made his way to the room that had been set aside for him. True to her word, Medb's men had brought the trunk. Leaving it for the moment, Kirke pulled off his overcoat and jacket, tossing them on a chair. He hadn't gotten much sleep the night before and had been in costume for over 12 hours now. His joints cracked and popped as he stretched, removing his flak vest and shirt.
It was then that he noticed the two pieces of smooth metal laying on the bed. Snatching the note he read the brief message, his face darkening a little. Did they think he was stupid? It didn't take a genius to know that these things were mystical somehow, and messing with magic that you had no idea about was an easy way to wind up dead or worse.
Still, he couldn't just throw them out in case they WERE useful somehow. Being careful not to touch them with any bare skin, Kirke wrapped the metal in torn pieces of sheet and shoved them into the inner pockets of his coat. He wasn't sure wether someone was actually asking for his help or just trying to set him up or use him. The latter was the most likely scenario.
Walking wearily into the bathroom he turned on the sink, sticking his head under the faucet and letting the water soak his hair and face. Straightening back up he let the water run down his back and shoulders as he stared at his reflection in the mirror.
Frown lines creased his forehead and he could feel the scar that ran along his jaw line as he scratched at the three day growth of whiskers. A plethora of scars were scattered up the length of his arms and several more slashed across his chest and gut. There were even more on his back. They didn't bother him, they were reminders. Reminders of why he had to be the best. Because he had no fancy armor or magic talisman to keep him alive out there. He was just meat and bone. Kirke liked meat and bone. He knew what they could take, what he could ask of them.
He winced suddenly, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small bottle of Aspirin and dumping a few into his mouth. His left arm was giving him hell again, but he had no one to blame but himself. A couple of heroes, some ninja and his sidekick, had stumbled upon one of his jobs. After a short chase over some rooftops in King's Row, Kirke had managed to catch both of them with a flash grenade, blinding them for a few precious seconds.
The kid took a round through the shoulder and went down. Kirke brought the gun to bear on the mentor, focusing solely on him. A mistake. The kid wasn't as out of it as he'd assumed and had thrown her sword at him, impaling his arm. It caused his shot to go wide, grazing the heroes forehead. Neither hero was in any condition to follow him as he fled the scene. He only made it about a block before he had to stop and tie it off before he passed out from blood loss. The scar reminded him never to assume anything.
Walking back into the main room Kirke briefly considered going through the trunk now, but finally decided it could wait. Falling into the other armchair he scooted it over to the wall, just behind the door (if someone came in the door would hit the chair, waking him up). Leaning back he allowed himself to fall into a light doze.
((I wasn't sure if Medb had anymore to say or not. If she did go ahead and say that Kirke is still there. This scene will take place after she has finished.))
After the flash cleared Will lost his focus and the bullet wounds hit him at once. He fell over cluching his arm from the pain. "Son of a..." Then the blood lose of his wounds caused him to black out.
Trevor got to the room Medb had been so kind as to provide. He wanted to strangle the women, she had caused him to many problems for one day, or a life time. The door was locked, I thought these doors were supposed to unlock for us automaticaly, Medb. Today just keep getting worse. "OPEN THE DOOR."
(OOC Note: The door happens to be the one Vance locked, he seemed lonely.)
Mason was blinded for a few precious seconds and so lost the concentration that was so needed for spellcasting. When he saw that Ghost had disappeared he returned to his room and returned to the business at hand.

After the arrival and concealment of The Contaminant, Disco Inferno went to the cafeteria for some of his personal white chocolate-flavored hot chocolate, which he kept in a special dispenser in his arm. When it was ready, he made his way to the main room to enjoy it. He noticed that there were a few people asleep. "Hmmm, Will's napping. I guess Trevor can tell him the news when he wakes up. It looks like Kirke's asleep, too. I guess he's out of the meeting, and I can meet him. From what I've heard, I think I'll like him," as he thought to himself, he didn't notice the heat signature by the door, and when he opened it, he slammed it right into Kirke's chair. "Whoa, sorry. I assume you're Kirke. Name's Disco Inferno, I've heard about you from the others. I knew what it was like to not have powers, until I got my cybernetic enhancements. Some people don't consider you equal to them, but I'm not that presumptuous. But I doubt you care much for words, do you? How about a little sparring match later? No powers, no weapons, just hand-to-hand combat. I find you can really tell the measure of a man by fighting them, not by whether you win or lose, but by how the other guy fights. But I ramble, so I'm just gonna shut up," he had a friendly smile, as he usually did with people he thought were good.

Trevor kcked in the door, after about 5 attempts. The room was empty, if Medb sends me the bill... his thoughts trailed off. He fished around in a bag contaning clothes, and other things, amung which was a labtop. Trevor sat down in the chair, the only other thing in the sparse room was a table and a bed, Will perfered to sleep sitting for some odd reason. Trevor opened the laptop and started it up.
Will regained contiousness, "What happened?" Then he rembered, he had been vaguely aware of the jerk who had passed them by eairly today had helped him. He examined the dried blood, Friendly wasn't he. He got up, they only stung now and he could block that out. He opened the door to the room, Medb's weird security system worked on this one. He looked at the jerk and considered him, Got some odd powers, best watch him. He started off diplomaticaly, "Did you help me out there? Uh, sorry, forgot myself, I'm William Black." He held his hand out in for a hand shake.
Trevor opened a file called 'CDB' and typed in a twelve letter password. The file opened to a search bar, he typed in The Contaminant. A file opened up and gave Trevor all his specifactions, his height, weight, strength of radiation, in the top corner of the screen was the Crey corprate logo. He let out a deep thoughtful sigh.
(OOC Note: Trevor will wait for something to happen, if anyone wants to talk to him go ahead, he loves the company.)
Through his light doze Kirke heard the creak of the door opening. By the time it hit his chair, his hand was already on the gun sitting beside him. As the man who entered started talking, however, Kirke quickly decided he didn't have anything to worry about at the moment.
"Yeah," he said slowly after the man's rant had ceased, "Disco Inferno, wasn't it? Thanks, I'll think about it." Kirke only had some rough military hand-to-hand training. If a fight came down to that in Paragon City he would most likely already be dead anyway.
Rising from the chair, he holstered his weapon, pulling one of the plain white cigarettes from his pocket and lighting it.
"Cyborg huh? Any particular reason for it, or just a personal choice?" ((meaning, did he NEED to become a cyborg or just did it to be a villian)) From the brief glimpses Kirke had caught of Disco he would guess the guy was slightly unstable. Of course, that didn't make him any less dangerous. He moved the chair back to it's normal position, sitting down and taking a long drag on the cigerette.
"I was hired to become a cyborg, actually. The Clockwork King had a grudge against this hero that was a cyborg made from a clockwork prince that fell on the human part. The gears formed around the guy and now he's the Clockwork King's biggest threat. So, he made a device to bring the Clockwork half back under his control, and since I was good at running and hiding if need be, he turned me into a cyborg equipped with the device to ambush this hero. Now, the hero's name is Haywire, if you know him, you'll know what happened. He detected my Clockwork technology, and slashed me hard in the chest. I escaped and recovered, but the controls for the King's device got shattered. So, now I use the power over fire the King put in, along with my disco tapes that force good guys to dance, to steal large sums of money. I have all sorts of odd components, as payment in advance from the King. I've got a fireproofer, fire emitters, vital sign monitors, and pretty much anything except an ATM. My powers are pretty wierd, too. At first I could just surround my hands in flame, create shields of it, emit it to hurt anyone close to me, use it to weld cuts in my metal (healing flames), or use it to energize myself (consume). Later, I found I could use it to make myself as good as new, and put foes off balance (Rise of the Pheonix), and had an innate defense to temperature change. Just today, I found I could fire flames from my pistol, turn my hair spray into a flamethrower, ignite my hair gel to burn and immobilize, and even send fire through my golden, jewel-studded 'fro comb to make a blade of fire," with that, Disco Inferno pulled his comb out of his afro and demonstrated his new favorite power. "Haywire got into the tower today, but I stopped him with this here sword. If it weren't for me, we'd all be dead right now. Then again, he's been hunting me to rip the rest of the King's device out of me since we first met. I really shouldn't have gloated about the device that one time.... To be frank, I'm not that good of a fistfighter, but my fire makes up for when I'm in real combat. I wish there were a fireplace here," as he said that, a section of wall rose up, revealing a fireplace, complete with logs. Disco Inferno then drew his gold-plated, long-barreled revolver, and fire a blast of flame into the wood, immediately igniting it. "There. Now it's the perfect atmosphere for my hot chocolate," he said as he sat down in a comfortable chair near Kirke's.
(OOC: he may be unstable, but he ain't dangerous to those who aren't dangerous to him.)

Kirke raised an eyebrow slightly at the man beside him, taking a long drag on his cigarette. He had seen "gimmick" villains before, but this guy took the cake.
"Afraid I've been too busy with my own problems to really scope out the villain population in the city. Tell me, you know anything about any of these other guys?" Disco seemed the sociable type and had probably been talking to the others while he was with Medb. The guy might have gotten to know the others rather well in that time.
"Well, I didn't get the chance to meet with many of the people here, as they left for some reason. But I met with Vance, he's a schemer, plain and simple. I wouldn't trust him if I were you. Trevor and Will, the two kids that look alike, are nice, just don't get them started on Crey Industries. Jack in Diamonds, Medb's errand boy, worries me, but doesn't seem dangerous to me as long as he's left alone. Then there's Blind Guardian. He's cryptic, but safe, as far as I can tell. Also, I monitor the vitals of everyone here, and except for Vance's psychic-pattern brainwaves, the other humans are normal. Except for Mr. Book, who's brainwaves are so out of the ordinary, I'd say there were two distinct sets going on at once, one overriding the other. But that's just my opinion," Disco Inferno had become serious while talking about Vance and Mr. Book, but went back to normal afterwards. "What's your opinion of Mr. Book, he was in the meeting before I met anyone, and I only heard about either of you from conversation."

Vance, Trevor and Will, Jack in Diamonds, Hegemon, Dark Mason..... all the people from the meeting room. Kirke didn't remember any "Blind Guardian" which meant he either showed up late or was an entirely new factor in this little game. He slumped in his chair a little, steepling his hands as he answered Disco.
"Book?" smoke from the cigarette drifted up from his nose and mouth. "Posh. Aristocratic." the moment when Book had almost lost his temper flashed through Kirke's mind. "Dangerous. The man's got too many secrets from my liking." He took another drag on the smoke, thinking over Disco's comments.
"Trevor and Will got something personal against Crey, huh? Their tough luck. Personal grudges are never a good thing. Nothing but trouble." He didn't mention his opinion of Trevor and Will being 'nice guys'. If they were running with this crowd, 'nice guys' meant they'd apologize before blowing your head off. "Don't worry, though. I don't trust Vance." Truth be told, Kirke didn't trust any of them and was sure none of them really trusted him. At least he didn't think any of them were that stupid.
"Tell me though," he said, looking at Disco over his steepled hands, "just who is this 'Blind Guardian'? He sounds rather.... interesting."
((Thanks for the clarification Combat. Kirke probably won't use them right now, as he's horribly paranoid about everyone and everything. But he won't discount them entirely. He'll keep them around as an emergency measure.))
((OOC: I need a sound off on who all is still here since some people have been extra quiet. I don't know who all is waiting for me or someone else to do something.))

"If it's not too much to ask," he said, though there wasn't any real politeness in his voice, "I'd appreciate it if some of your men could pick up some equipment for me. I'm sure you already know where I'm holed up at the moment. If they could bring the large box in the far right-hand corner I'd be grateful."

Kirke's request snapped her out of her reverie. "Oh, yes, of course," she said in a daze. When she looked back at the stone, she noticed that it's glow had started to wane. "Um, ahem. I'm sorry, I got distracted for a moment."
