Agreed. I have happened to get my mitts on a couple of the Top Cow issues, one that I somewhat liked had Freedom Phalanx meet the Asian super group. Apparently a portal opened letting City of Villians invade Brikstown, but whenever I read these, it feels like it is more of a promotion of what is going on with the game instead of a fresh storyline. The reason I quit reading it, I have already bought the game guys, and I have two accounts, I don't need to be sold anything else.

At long last, I've been given the opportunity to re-make the models of these two characters. I did them a year ago or so, but the models were under-detailed and I thought they could use an upgrade. I got a couple pieces from Kevin Sharby ("Serbu" on the boards) since his were so incredible, but he based his versions on a different Poser model and some conversion was called for.

  13. Ok there is a lot I gree with here. But doing TFs is stating the obvious, the mission bonuses are better, you know roughly what it entails if you have done any research on these forums, but I also agree that getting a TF started is not as easy as you portray here. That goes for any AT, but sure, an empath and a tank are more likely to get invited to a team because of their powers and simply not that many out there that can devote the time, so they are richly sought after. As far as tactics go, any team can complete a Positron TF, it just depends on your strategies. 4 blasters could do one by themselves if they can pull properly, its the tanks and the empaths that handle the AVs in later TFs. Also remember, no one said you have to complete a TF in one sitting or at all. Break the TF into two or three days, or simply state at the begining that you are only going to complete X amount of missions/or quitting at a certain time. You get very good exp, and mission bonuses.

What I was hoping to see here were more build hints. You mentioned that you get your first travel power at 14, not entirely accurate. MOST ATs in this game will eventually get Stamina. The power pools become available at level 6. Since you are going to be running around for the next 8 levels anyway, unless you are a kheld, why not get Swift. No end drain, makes you run faster, and you need to get a couple of powers from this set to get Stamina anyway.
I have gone to the Hollows a lot, for variety reasons. Here is my take on the Hollows, it is designed for you to kick serious bottom no matter what you do IF YOU HAVE A TEAM. As we all know, with all the nerfs that this game has put out in the last few issues, this is what the devs want us doing. I have actually gained more levels in less time hunting than doing missions. Just agree to a level range b4 you start hunting. Depending on your team level makeup, you could take out +2s or -2s. Remember, at the lower levels, killing a green is still going to give your exp a bump. If your team has a tank, go after even conned mobs at his level, if you have a healer and a tank, go +1s on his level, and once you get that range going (exnly 9s - 12s), then start partying. The biggest hinderance to anyone trying to advance under the level of 10 is BS. What is BS, BS = typing. Now if you have combat related info, like "Sniper", "Boss", "gather for buffs and/or heals" etc, then that is good and will keep your team going. Here is an example of what keeps people from leveling: "Did anyone watch the Simpsons/South Park last nite?", "Did anyone get the new graphic novel by soandso?", "What is the word on the next issue?". People, none of this "banter" is going to level you or anyone on your team. If you want to level, kick byutox at a maximum, concentrated level, stick to business. If you want to know how people feel about last nite's episode of the Simpsons or Real World, go to a flippin chat site and meet those people there, we got people here that want to level that don't care one bit about TRL or graphic novels. You only level if you play the game, that simple. To get back to the issue at hand, run the streets, keep people buffed, and keep attacking. The formula is Time Vs. Exp. You could spend 5 - 10 minutes going to the next mission, and you may even get debt along the way, that hunting team killed 5 mobs while you were running around. You are also more likely to pick up your troll, outcast, mage and igneous boss badge along the way. Once you hit level 7 - 8, you have an option to go over to Perez and hunt the streets there, that can be very quick exp too. I am not talking about the lake with the Man o Wars and what not, takes too long to get there, kill hard and fast. If the bosses are lighting you up, go a level lower, or find mobs that don't have bosses in them, they are all over the place.

Now as far as 19 straight hours, I couldn't do ANYTHING for 19 straight hours, I wouldn't want to unless it was sleep or "exercise" with the GF. I commend you on that effort, and am sorry to hear about your insomnia. You way of getting there in 19 is doable, but definitely not the only way to do it. What about getting on a TF when you are much lower than the rest of the team, you will be getting excelllent exp. Did that with my healer recently. Everything was +4 to me, but +2 or +1 for everyone else. My role there was to heal, so I stuck to that and got 2.7 levels out of one TF.

If anyone needs anymore hints or questions answered, send me a private and I will be glad to help, at this current point in time I have 31 or so toons at or over the level of 14.
  14. Going to your original trainer when you hit 50 is becoming a tradition on Justice.

As for the changes and peoples right to do whatever they want...
Statesman and Cryptic studios have designed this game. They have decided that they want to cut down on the PLing, I dont think they ever invisioned a cure all to utterly stop it. But they designed it and they don't want people PLing, is that so hard to understand?

Granted, their legal does not say anything about PLing, but its not a legal issue. Its a design issue. If you guys want a MMO that lets you PL and have no one give you any static about it....go make your own/play someone else's. It is Statesman's and Cryptics product, and they can do with it as they please. You can stop paying at your leisure.
One issue that I have not seen to much of is the fact that the arena is coming, and that one is in Talos and one is in PI...two of the biggest PL zones in the game. I think part of this effort is to cut down on the TREMENDOUS lag that will be encountered when traveling in these zones with all of that extra traffic.

I for one think that PLing and people that do are a joke, and lie to themselves even:
"I don't want to have to experience that content again." How much content are you experiencing at the tram for three hours? If all that content is boring pre 50, then why play COH?, are you aware of how much post 50 content there is? I wish Statesman would make a PLing server. As soon as you log in, make a toon already at 50, name it, then the respec screen comes up, put slots on all your powers, enter gameplay, hit ghost falcon and load yourself up with Hami-o's, and go nutz in PvP. Leave the rest of the people that enjoy the content to our zones, you go do your thing elsewhere.
Everyone is coming up with instances and "what ifs" for singular events and issues, but overall, IF you play the game the way States/Cryptic want us to play, then you should have little to no problems.
All the snivelers can quit COH, go play WoW, you can max a toon in 3 weeks. Go play EQ and fight Orcs and Goblins...never seen that stuff before...all new content...ooooo loook A DRAGON!!! OMG LOOK...Matrix Online!!! Can you PL in these games? Most of the people that I know that have gone to play those games always come back to COH for some reason.

All PLers justify finding loopholes in the design as their right to do it, and States has every right to go ahead and close one or two if he feels like it, and you have every right to leave and play something else. This will not stop PLing, but it is a start in the right direction. If you don't like the program, change the channel. Look at all the previous PL threads, there are many different people who don't like or care about it, but always a select few that champion PLing over and over. Wonder why the numbers are so far apart? Maybe Statesman is just doing what a majority of players, that pay their $15 a month too, already want him to do?

The whole point is to increase Arena participation by increasing the number of options. I want you to have the choice of facing me with or without your loot. Simple. If you don't want to fight me without your loot, then *walk away*.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This is the point they miss - one way or another the no-HO heroes will avoid the full-HO heroes. Either by using an Option (if added) or by limiting/skipping PvP (if an option isn't added).

    Thats it.
Thats the one everyone seems so desperate to duck and avoid.
Thats the one that all the "I wannas" in the world have to do deal with.

You can argue all the other stuff that you want. How much work, how much skill whatever turns your crank. It does not matter at all.

The only thing that matters is what the majority of people will do and how much Cryptic cares.

I submit that the HOs will be a massive advantage in PvP.
I submit that most people will not farm Hamidon under any circumstances.
I also submit that most people will not abide excessively loosing to any one reason.
Finally I submit that it is in the best interest, of CoH, Cryptic, and the players to have a healthy heavily used PvP system.

From this I conclude the following.[*] Players will opt out of getting decimated by HOs one way or the other[*] If the only way out is to avoid PvP then it shall be so.[*] If the majority of players avoid PvP. Then PvP is an effective failure.[*] The failure of PvP will be bad for CoH.

I honestly believe that most players will not farm the Hamidon and nothing will convice them to do so. I also believe that the success of PvP, and perhaps a large part of CoH, will depend on enticing as many people as possible into parcipating. People will not play PvP only to loose so Hamidon enchancers are not just a killer in PvP but will be a killer TO PvP.

I strongly suspect that CoH stands on the backs of a dedicated casual base and pushing back skills to issue 5 left a bad taste in their mouths, now to strike them in the face with issue 4 maybe more than many of them can bare.

My sole stake in this disccusion is to illuminate for Statesman and the Devs what I think is a very serious issue and one I sincerely believe will prove to be a problem. It is my hope the Devs will make an informed choice in this matter and not simple choose the expiedent and potentially detremental choice of satifying the "hardcore players" at the expense of the majority.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Some people bought this game for PvP, some people are waiting to see how PvP does before they buy CoV. My SG and I have teamed with people with HOs, they make a very noticeable difference, just one does. Another thread has a guy bragging that he only needs 4 HOs to cap his IH. Does anyone without HOs have IH capped? Does this mean that he can respec his toon and move those slots to something else to slot more HOs in? No kidding.....ya, still sounds fair to me. Flame on!

I just want to say though, that just because You think the raid isn't fun doesn't mean that its not fun.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Right, what you think is fun and what I think is fun ain't the same. Thats what we've been trying to point out.

Once you admit (40+!) Raids are fun for some but not everyone how do you justify tying PvP achievement to it? Why do you bank CoV's success on it?

HOs are gonna be "killer" in PvP (statesman said so). Doing lots of raids to get lots HOs is fun for some but not for everyone (if i believe you find them fun you should be able to believe i don't).

Put it together and what do you get: A bunch of folks forced into doing something they don't find fun so they can be "killer" in PvP.

That, in a nutshell, is the problem. Same old MMO problem.

    [/ QUOTE ]
One of my points exactly. I started a thread on Justice asking what a tank does, thats my only 50 right now. Basically they are telling me to taunt the core. Let me completely understand this...for two hours all I do is taunt?
I could set taunt to auto and go to work..... Yeh taunting for two hours in a slide show sounds like edge of your seat fun!! I'm really not going to go on like I have b4, I already decided to NOT participate in PvP.

My question is how often am I going to get a "taunt" from a Hami Farming Power Leveler challenging me to PvP. What is his reply going to be when I say I dont do PvP, or at least I don't do it with hami farmers. Are they going to say..."Very well, thats your option not to, good day to you." I think it will be more infused with expletives and name calling. But the PLers haven't EARNED the right to fight me in PvP, and I'm definitely NOT going to taunt Hamidon for 70 hours to fully slot my tank either. Neither sound fun to me, what's going to be in Issue 5? Flame On!....

Sure, but HOs don't really do that. With the unresistable criticals, I can one-two shot Blasters anyway. In fact HOs make PvP HARDER for me, not easier.

With no HOs, most Blasters can't overcome my healing rate. Some can, and a whole lot more can with HOs. I say bring it on, the risk makes it fun.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You say all that like you'd actually ever played a bout of PvP in CoH.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I respect and disagree with your opinion. Arguing with you has no further point since neither of us will change our opinion. Thus I will demur on responding to the substance of your post.

Wow...are you chief counsel for Hami Raiders? lol
Question for you...I play on justice mostly too, and have been on a couple of these raids B4 they ever learned how to beat him, I was at the one the lead blaster went AFK during the raid. Answer me this, what do tanks do on these raids?
  18. [ QUOTE ]
    I see whiney people

This game is based upon a simple principle Risk .vs Reward.

If you are unable / willing to overcome the risk, you don't get the reward.

Recieving a Hamidon enhancement (reward), means that you overcame some risk.

Sure they are becoming more common place, but that does not mean that they are less valuable, nor that they should become that way.

Instituting any policy that reduces the return on investment spent on obtaining a reward changes the basic precept City of Heroes is based upon. This game is not based upon the principle of Risk .vs Reward(minus reward value difference of common reward)

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I agree, all those 50s that reached their debt cap are gonna have a really tough time getting to 51. Honestly, how do they deal with all that pressure?
  19. OK, I have a couple of questions:

    1) Why are there "Private SG Only" raids...especially on Justice server? People are actually asked to leave so others can enjoy themselves more. I guess some $15 dollars a month is worth more than others.

    2) If to fully slot your toon with HO requires a few raids, this is before Hami Patch, what other purpose would you have other than to try and dominate PvP. I mean your so close to 50, are these enhancements that much of a help. If you already are 50, and you consider this end game content, then why fully slot your toon with HO's, you have already beat everything with your SOs?
Anyone one that says he fully slotted his toon with HOs cuz that is the only thing left to do at the end of the game is full of it. They would never have done so many raids if HOs were not allowed in the arena.
  20. [ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
Just to prevent people from quoting me inaccurately...

Hamidon Enhancements boost either TWO aspects of a power by 50% or THREE aspects of a power by 30%.

If you battle in the Arena another hero in a weight class below you (weight classes are five level bands), you will be auto-exemplared to that weight class.

This also means that the effectiveness of your Enhancements are capped to the level of effectiveness of that weight classes' Enhancements. That means that your Hamidon Enhancement is considered at an S.O. or lower level, rather than +50%. You'll still have the advantage because two or three aspects are being boosted, but you won't have the overwhelming % advantage.

This, however, does not occur when fighting within your "weight" class. If you're in your weight class, Hamidon Enhancements are killer.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    States,

What about people who have nothing BUT Hami-O's in their slots. I know of one charcter personally that has done the raid so many times, thats now all they have. How does this affect the guy who actually works all day to pay for your game vs. the guy who does 165 raids day in and day out just to get the power, PvP does not seem so fun anymore when faced with this possibility.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Agreed, and now that they have adjusted Hami, there is very little chance of anyone catching up by I4. Now on Justice, and this may be only Justice related, there are a couple of SGs that most of their members have at least 50% HOs, several have 100% HO's. One even complained to me in game that it sux that all he is missing is a travel HO. I would definitely say there is more than one. My only recourse is to completely boycott that area of PvP or those SGs in PvP. From what I have seen in this thread, I wont be the only one. I'm hoping there are several more on every server, yes I know life isn't fair, and I really hate to break this to you, but this is a game. Are you going to play checkers with a guy that starts with all kings? Play poker with a guy that already has three aces?

The Hami raids on justice have been performed at an epidemic pace by these SGs and their friends, that I doubt another SG who would like to start Hami raids are likely to ever get their own "private" raid. But that is just on Justice, I do not know how it is on other servers. The other night, I was on with my 50, I got a tell from someone I have never met asking me to hurry and PL him to 45, there is a Hami raid in a couple of hours. I told him no thank you, I dont do that. Then I got this little tirade from him on how all the SG people that Pl him regularly are setting the raid up and no one is around to PL him, and cursed me out in the process. OK I set him to ignore. Minutes later, I get a tel form one of the raid organizers calling my all kinds of various names, some vulgar, he used the term self righteous and whatnot. I guess to be a cool guy, I need to pl people, guess I'm not cool. I asked him what his problem was, and he said that I would not PL his SG mate so he can go on the raid. This is a daily occurence on Justice. I tols him that he can go on the next raid, I not sharing my exp/inf with any PLer...my choice. But you can see the fervor that these SGs are farming Hami so they can dominate in PvP. Just before I set the second guy to ignore, I got the "Ill see you and your SG in PvP". Doubt that at this point.
  21. I would just love a little straight forward honesty here:
    [ QUOTE ]
You guys with this "skilled" arguement are killing me here, have you played PvP in other MMOs?

Yes skill DOES have a good deal to do with it BUT so do the "behind the scenes" numbers. Also people making the "skilled" arguement seem to forget that some skilled PvPers are going to ALSO be the ones who have fully-slotted HOs. Hell the skileld PvPers are going to be MORE LIKELY to put in the time it takes to get all those HOs because they are competitive.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    [/ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
You keep getting hung up on this asinine notion of "Hamidon killer==powergamer==embodiment of evil".

    [/ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
On a related note: Why oh why are people who invest minimum amounts of time in the game (or just suck at it)worried about competing in the arena against those who play for 8+ hours a day and are good at what they do? Putting a limit on Hami-Os in the arena is somewhat akin to communism. Oh look at the lazy and unfortunate. They should have the same as everyone else... No thanks, I prefer capitalism. You have the same opportunity as everyone else. Take advantage of it... or don't. Your choice.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Would one of you guys please just be honest and post "I want an unseen advantage over people in the arena so I can have a better win/loss--get my name in lights, big man in my SG"...whatever. If you guys want to REALLY be competitive, dump you HOs, when you win, there can never be an argument...thats competitive. Most of this thread has ignored one glaring point though. Most of this has dealt with just one on one, what happens when and UBER non HO Tank, capped to the teeth on Def/DamRes with your average everyday HOs gets ganged up on by two or three fully slotted HO blasters? With the range, damage and ACC HO's all stuck on snipe, will that tank ever even get into melee range?
What if I had a fully slotted HO tank with defenses maxed out (could you even debauff this guy?) and three or four fully slotted HO blasters. All they need to do is target the tank, completely out of range of any other nonHO blasters, and pick off the non HO team with the Non HO team never even seeing the HO blasters. Don't think that hasn't already been discussed by the HO farmers. And that is just one example.

IF HOs give such an added advantage in PvP, it boils down to this. People with HOs dominate the 45+ ladders of Arena...all across the board, team, one on one, capture the flag...everything. They are going to pat themselves all over their back and let their servers know that they are the best farming has to offer. The non-HO players will not play arena with there being no chance of winning, or at least in the HO class. If you put an HO class in PvP, it will just take a little longer, but only those with HOs are going to have a very limited player base. These are the same people that have been farming Hami all along already, so the same people will be in that class. Eventually, they will get tired of fighting the same guys over and over. Then the complaints will come that no one without HOs will fight them, and they will start sniveling that the DEVs screwed up again and there is not enough fun end game content for average Power Leveling Hami Farmers.
Another question, how many of these HO players are gonna wanna nerf down to SOs after they have played their toon with HOs? What if these players that have the HOs dominate in the HO class, but if they go down to SO class, are they gonna whine about it. Lets say I'm fully slotted with my HOs, and I have beaten every single toon I have fought in Arena, nerf down to SOs and get beat 50% of the time, maybe even more because i have become used to fighting with my HOs, and my timing is off without their HOs. Am I going to stay with the SOs or go back to HOs. Out of that group of HO people, I am sure that some with be able to go back and forth with ease, but most of them are going to start sniveling that they dont LOOK as uber as they used to with HOs, and all the SO people are wussies for not wanting to fight them. Also, if anyone feels strongly about this issue, count the number of posts that are against HOs against the number of the ones for HOs...that should be another indication there. Good luck with the Arena, I hope this eventually works out for the majority of the players out there, I'll pass until I'm sure that we are on an even playing field, your SOs against my SOs.
  22. [ QUOTE ]
with the new drop system, it will be MUCH MUCH harder for someone to spec out their toon, since less HOs drop and Hami spawns less often, and is a little harder. The real problem will be that most characters will get useless HOs, and may have trouble trading them. so, the problem has been stalled... now it really will take endless farming to spec out your toon.

I'm not sure very many people will be interested in doing that, and thus it won't be a noticable or glaring problem.

Found on Justice server after the Hami patch:
    [ QUOTE ]
OK so there's been a ton of debate and many people are not sure whats what on the schedule. There are currently 2 schedules proposed, and of course the one we've been working on.

I created this post to have people reply with their thoughts on these schedules. We need to come up with a general consensus on what will work best.

Its obvious that Hami's respawn timer is too random to count on two raids per day defininte. Dropping down to one raid per day will give more flexibility for impromptu and private raids to be held in evenings if Hami respawns after a public raid had already been held.

Since no one else has suggested anything perhaps the easiest way to do this would be simply post "Schedule 1" or "Schedule 2" to cast your 'vote' as it were then make comments if you wish. Nothing will ever be perfect but we need to keep the schedule as easy to remember as possible, flexible, and include the majority of players on the server.

    Current Raid Schedule: (For Reference)
    Monday: 9 p.m.

    OK problem solved......next...thx rocket....geez that was easy...phew
  23. How about not playing PvP at all... I totally disagree with Hami enancements, and playing on the Justice server makes getting a Hami enhancement even less desirable, griefing, spamming, staffing, arguing, trip mines, alpha strikes...basically a lot of BS...and if we will never know who has HO's, then just don't play it. Period.
From what I have read on the forums, if they segregate matches with people having HO's, they are gonna cry foul, they want to have their hidden advantage over others. Look at all the threads on Justice about farming Hami, PRIVATE Hami raids---I guess that means their $15 dollars a month is worth more than mine. By negating HO's in PvP or segregating them, that will NERF all of their "hard work". Its just way to much BS to be fun/enjoyable for me, and if doing that gives them that advantage in PvP, then I happily decline playing PvP. What happend to superior skillz and creative builds? Read the PLing thread, most of the PLers want to go straight to Hami and PvP. People who simply don't want to farm Hami all the time are going to be S.O.L. Several of my toons never did Positron's TF...should the people that did do it have an advantage over me...even though I have done all of the other TFs? So, what I can glean from the forums is that the high end PvP is going to be mostly Power Leveling Hamidon Farmers... I'll pass thx.

They should make an Arena server. From the start, create a 50, slot him however you want like a respec, have a Store in the lobby that gives out all the HO's and the the power levelers and hami farmers dance all over in bliss. The PLers miss all that content they hate, Hami farmers get 1000% increase to thier toons, and then they can all spam each other after the fighting is over how there is still too little level 50 content in the game. Let the spamming begin...

TA routinely does it with around 21 toons. without nemesis staves, utilizing all ATs. I would suggest that you guys just aren't exploring your options.

Just because inquiring mind want to know.
How many controllers do you use to lock him down?
How many holds stacked on the hammy does it take to paralyze him.
I am not trying to be jerk or anything here I honestly want to know.
If your not comfortable openly relaying the info in the forum could you please PM me?

    Thanks

Exactly, why don't you give us this perfect 90 minute strategy. To justify the argument that it is OK for everyone to use the HO's, go ahead and let everyone have them. I'll spend 90 minutes getting those enhancements. Post the startegy on the forums so everyone can have those HO's. That way there will be no argument from everyone when you beat them in PvP. You can say it had nothing to do with enhancements, because we had the same ones, it was my superior skill that won the day. That is my one big argument here. Devil's Advocate: I'm a hardcore gamer, play every dam day, I always solo, I got my character to 50 with 52 enhancements all over the place, pay 15 dollars a month just like everyone else, but I cannot get HO's cuz I always solo, and cannot do that with Hami. So simply for the reason that he cannot do one or two aspects of the game, or doesn't want to... his 50 is not going to be a match for a Hami farmer in PvP. Whatever logic you would like to use here is fine, HO's are simply going to keep people from playing PvP because it is not an even playing field.
  25. Here is the situation that I have encountered, and it is somewhat specific to my server I THINK, you guys let me know if this happens on other servers. I play a majority of my time on Justice, that is where my SG is, and I really enjoy playin with them. Now if anyone has read the Justice server threads, Hamidon has been a major source of grief.

Basically, no one knew how to beat him for several raids, the people organizing this were so arrogant, that they told the Devs, "If we cant beat Hami, he must be broken".
My first Hami raid was such a disaster it was almost funny, kind of like the movie Gigli. They had everyone sign up on the forums with who was going to be there, but at game time, there was utter confusion. Teamspeak was useless with 100 people all talking at the same time. The lead blaster, who told everyone to target him and attack, anyone not attacking his target would be kicked, and this guy goes AFK in the middle of a raid while 40 - 50 blatsers are standing around getting hammered because he wasn't selecting any targets. My team of tanks and scraps were told to wait....and wait...and wait...and wait, until one of the organizers told us "sry, forgot about you guys", quality waste of 40 minutes. The plan that was discussed b4 the raid, was for some reason, never implemented, so a lot of melee ATs were standing around watching blasters get juggled. They got down to the core and couldn't beat him, quality use of 8 HOURS of my time, I could level an alt in that amount of time.
The next raid was a bit smoother, but they still could not beat the core with their strategy...another 8 fun-filled hours, no enhancements or badges....just lots of arguing. I passed on the next two raids, leveling my alts or other members of my SG.

Now I hear that they can beat him, but they have to use the nemesis staff to do it. Some are calling this an exploit, some are calling it good strategy, I was NOT there, so I will go by what I have read on these always RELIABLE forums. They apparently beat him using these staffs. But what was more interesting to me is that they posted that this was a PRIVATE hami raid, only the SG members were ALLOWED to participate. If your not in the SG, please stay out of the Hive.
So, another words, and SG can make the entire zone their personal property. OK, my SG is doing some Atlas and GC missions, could everyone not make a noob or play theirs that night, we need as little slow down as possible so we can get what we want without anyone else getting any. I realize that I could ignore them, but do I really want to deal with all the griefing and spamming that was being used on people outside that SG.

Why would any SG declare a private raid, other than to make sure that the SG in question is the only one that gets any Hami-o's. One SG even created radiation "bots" to power-level to get them into the zone just to beat hami...and those still didn't help right away, but eventually they did. NOW the most comical part of the successful raid, and this is in the Justice forum, is that two different SGs were having a HUGE argument over who came up with the idea to use staves and who is responsible for beating Hamidon. Now let me ask the average person, with all that horse manuer flying around, would you want to go on a Hami raid. My SG is only 25 people strong, and we dont want to get too much bigger, so these SGs with the 150 members are simply going to outnumber us out of Hami-o's anyway. They are giving Hami-os to members that didn't even go on the raid, just so their SG can have that extra advantage in PvP. My ONLY soluton to this is to take the names down of the SGs, and not PvP with them ever. No one else should either, they can go fight themselves until they make the boards... They can have their little advantage, but not over me.
I wont spend the time to kill Hami again, so I guess I'm just going to be SOL when it comes to PvP at high levels, to bad that an entire issue release is going to get exploited by rare loot available only to a certain few.
