    5th Column....

The only defeat badges that 5th Column count towards are The Silver Bullet and The Slayer.

(In both versions, Statesman and Recluse were friends up to the point where they got their powers.) There might be a Praetorian version of Arachnos, and there's probably a Praetorian version of Mako. There *might* be a Praetorian version of Black Scorpion and Sirrocco. But it's entirely possible that they wouldn't be part of Praetorian Arachnos, since I believe they were all recruited by Lord Recluse. Ghost Widow and Wretch are a little tricky since their existence is the result of a freak accident. Of course, there have been hints that Sister Airlia and Ghost Widow are connected somehow, so it's possible that there is *a* Ghost Widow. It just might not be a Praetorian version of the same person.

As far as Patron/Epic pools, I'd guess that they won't take powers away. The Patron arcs will probably be set up as "Villain Only" to start - "You must be at least this evil to gain these powers." Once you have them, if you want to work your way clear over to being a hero, you get to keep them. After all, it's part of the actual arcs that pretty much as soon as you get the powers, Recluse forces you to betray your Patron. So keeping the powers isn't directly related to whether the Patron still likes you or not.

And from a gameplay perspective, taking things away from the players usually results in a lot of yelling. At a guess, they'll probably end up having to add "normal" Epic pools for the villain classes. Anyone will be able to access those. Only those who get to level 40 as full Villains will be able to do the Patron arcs. They *might* add heroic versions of the Patron arcs/pools, since one of the few features they've actually mentioned is that there will be special perks for those that pick a side and stick with it.
Wow, I didn't know all of that. Out of all the signature villains, I'm really hoping to see a Praetorian Mako, as he's been my favorite signature villain ever since I got the Captain Mako Heroclix figure (I actually used to play that game, and Mako was one of my favorite pieces to play). Though no Praetorian Recluse is a bit of a bummer.

And what you said about the Patron Powers makes perfect sense. And now that I think about it, Hero version of Patron arcs would be cool, but most of the Signature Heroes are either trainers or TF contacts so I'm not sure how it could be pulled off.
  3. I wonder if we'll be seeing Praetorian Arachnos. Seeing heroic versions of Recluse, Mako, Ghost Widow and the rest would be awesome.

I'd also like to know: what happens to Patron Powers if a high level villain that has them switches sides? Does he retain them? Or is he forced to lose his Patron Powers and take Epic Powers?
  4. The description for the Smuggler Day Job badge has a typo. It reads:

"You spend your free time smuggling in illicit black market goods earning you the Smuggler Day Job. Logging out in a store will earn you a random enhancement, upon each mission completion, for a short time."

    It should read:

"Logging out near a ferry will earn you a random enhancement, upon each mission completion, for a short time."
  5. One time I had a high level guy send one of my lowbie characters an SG invite. I declined, so the dude followed me around spamming SG invites and killing any mob that I tried to fight. I had to log off and log back on as a different character to keep playing.

I had a similar issue with the Force of Nature accolade. I logged in as my 50 MM and he recieved Hero Slayer (due to the lowered requirements for it), the last badge he needed for FoN. The badge and power were awarded but the progress bar did not update and said he had 6 out of 7 badges. Logging and/or zoning fixed the issue however.

I'm also having a small issue with the Mission Teleporter Veteran Reward power. It will occasionally teleport me inside of wall. Using /stuck gets me out of the walls. So far I've only had this occour on Mercy Island.
  7. Just logged in as my 50 again, and checked the Most Recent badges tab and Force of Nature was there, so logging and/or zoning fixes the problem.

And not sure if the CoT Random Access Portal bit is a bug or not - some maps have had it forever (as in launch).
I only logged in with my 50 real quick to check his badges and move him to another Day Job location. I did zone, but it didn't occour to me to check if the Force of Nature progress bar fixed itself. I will check shortly.

As for the Portal thing, I never had it happen until yesterday, so I assumed it was something new. Is this a Blueside only thing? I never had it happen Redside.
  9. I logged in as my level 50 MM to see what badges he got now that some of the requirements have changed. He got Hero Slayer, the last badge he needed for the Force of Nature Accolade. The Accolade and Accolade Power were awarded, but the progress bar for Force of Nature didn't update and says he only has 6 out of 7 of the required badges. I did not /bug it last night, but I will when I play later.

I'm not sure if this is an I16 bug or not, but I never saw it before, so here it is: I was playing as my 39 Scrapper running a CoT mish on one of the CoT maps with those portals you have to walk through to get to more of the map. When walking through one of the portals I was transported halfway across the map instead of to the one on the other side of the wall like normal. Every time I walked through one, it took me to a random portal somewhere on the map and, of course, they never took me to where I needed to go. Believe it or not, walking backwards through the portals instead of forwards seemed to fix the problem, but it was quite annoying. Again, I didn't /bug it yet, but I'm going to test it a bit more when I play later before officially reporting it.
