    Bane or Crab?

    I've seen a lot of good Crabs out there that can pretty much cremate(sp?) blasters, trollers, and def's. But im not sure if I should go with a Crab or Bane. Suggestions?...besides neither?
  2. Hello. I recently ran across an Elec/Elec blaster. I must admit, when I first looked at this character's powers...I laughed and thought he was just another noob not knowing what to pick. But when he started dueling brutes and doms...he wrecked. He wasn't even IO'ed out. This took place in SC. That's where I want my future character to be.

    Is this a worth-it build to train up?

  3. Im not exactly sure which one would be the best for Siren's pvp.

    Ive also been looking at a Storm/Dark defender. Ideas?

    I've heard good things about both builds. If you think there are better troller builds out there, please let me know.

    Im looking for a both a good dueler toon, and a good zone toon. If that makes sense.

    PvP Questions

    Here a few questions:

    1) Is there anyway to counter Parry besides popping accuracy inspirations?

    2) What is the KB cap?

    3) Is Energy Aura worthless in PvP? I've never seen one in. And that's probably why.
  5. I have fly on one of my stalkers and I enjoy it. It is great for killing those sniping blasters up in the air. I have fled countless times after a successful AS by just flying up.

    I would suggest either Fly & SS, or SJ and SS. But Fly and SJ is an odd combination.

  8. While reading the guides I became slightly confused. Don't most people make money by buying a recipe and crafting it and selling it for way more?
  9. Ok. I think "playing the market" is what most people do. I guess I will need to look into how to do that!
  10. I have always been jealous of builds that make a lot of money. Like the classic Fire/Kin. My question is, what builds are considered really good builds to farm with?

    Also. I always question how people have SOO much money. And all these expensive IOs. What missions do they do that get them so much?

  11. I play in SC mostly. My main question is really about the choice of power pools.

    Right now I have: Fly, Leadership, Fitness, and Medicine.

    I really like Fly. I know it's a nooby thing to get, but it works out pretty well with me. I have always had fly but sometimes I would like to switch to something that I can duel with. Having fly makes it difficult to duel. I didn't have fitness for the longest time and always had to watch my end. I like having aid self too. I dont use it too often, but when I need it...it comes in handy.

    Does anyone have some tips/advice on what power pools I should get. I know I need Leadership and Fitness, so if you know a good combo with that, it would be great.

    I also currently have Fire Blast, Flares, and Blaze which I love. But most people question why I have 3 fire attacks because people say I only need two.
  12. Ok. I don't really think Concealment is nessisary in SC, but thanks for your tips!

    I also heard that Integration and Resilence aren't really used in the /regen build. Is that true. Or should I stack Integration with Acrobatics?
  13. So if I roll a MA/Regen, would I need fitness?

    And I'm confused about the Fighting pool. I hear it is pretty useless in PvP. But I thought that Tough and Weave were quite good.

  15. Thank you for the tips. So I'm assuming most of you think Ma/ is better. I've rarely see a katana/, but I hear people talk about them and how they are just as good as Ma/. I guess Ma/ would be of more use in PvP than anything else since there aren't many brutes on now a days. And most stalkers only know how to use BU + AS. I do see a lot of Fire/ scrappers around. Are they really that top of the line compared to others?

    Which pools should I get:
    SJ, Fitness, Leadership, and Concealment
    or
    SJ, Fitness, Leadership, SS
    or
    SJ, Fitness, Fighting, and leadership?

    What would be better?

    Now all /Therm's can use HE...which is a huge plus. I saw this one guy who can kill tanks and scraps easily and can drain their end in a snap. How are they against blasters?
  23. I have a sonic/TA defender. Im not sure how it would be as a corr. I would assume better. Although blasters will snipe you out in a heartbeat. I really enjoy TA. It's great on teams, but solo wise...not so good.
  24. I see a few players every now and then that venge out their char crazily. I have vegence on my dom, but I rarely use it since I dont get the opportunity a lot. How does it even work and how can people stack it?
