  1. Wow, looking back on this, I am ashamed of how little time i spent on it.

    I think I got my point across but I sound like a little kid thats allergic to grammar.
  2. I pretty much assumed that the numbers were wrong (faulty hero builder) but I wrote this guide to waste some time and didnt want to test everything for myself.
  3. So I decided to post this guide, really, because I dont have anyhting else to do (I guess I could play ther game....meh). Anyway...here goes. (Ill be using Hero Builder numbers)

    MY TAKEThis attack SUCKS lol, at least for a blapper. This might be nice if you absolutely need another ranged attack but, this is a blapper build.

    MY TAKE This is a great attack for killing those pansie runners. In my opinion, every blapper build needs some range in thier builds. This is a wonderful attack that can be used to finish guys off as well as whittle them down

    MY TAKE This your burst AoE attack, if you want to be an AoE blapper then youre gonna need this attack. it also works as a single target attack thats better than flares, just be careful with it.

    MY TAKE I fart in this power's general direction. It doesnt do enough damage in my opinion and on top of that, it scatters groups of enemies. This would be a fine getaway power or trapping power, its useable, but I dont think it is neccisary for this build AT ALL.

    MY TAKE This is the other must-have AoE power. When you combine this with Build Up, Aim, and Fireball, you will kill everything in your path.

    MY TAKEThis attack is frackin awesome.It works great in your blap chain due to its limited range and has amazing damage.

    MY TAKE This isnt totally neccisary but its fun and does great damage. Its the snipe for the set (also the most damaging snipe in the game). It recharges oddly fast and works nicely.

    Take it if you please, otherwise dont, it isnt neccisary.

    MY TAKE How could you not take this power, it the set's "nuke". works especially well if you hit Firebreath and Fireball beforehand, should decimate everyhting.

    Grab it but be as humane as you can, try not to destroy the entire world.

    MY TAKE If you cant tell what this does then, Im sorry, but you have the comprehension of a 5 month old llama. I dont think this is a neccisary power but if you must ahve it then go for it, it isnt all that bad.

    MY TAKEThis is an awesome power. Freakin good damage and 100% chance of stun. You hafta get this and use it to decimate everyone you feel you should.

    Fitness: a must have for a buidl liek this, its all about stamina.

    Concealment: I took stealth cause its a good PvE power

    Speed: Hasten is too good to pass up for this build, plus SS is nice

    I would also suugest....

    Leaping: Acrobatics is great

    Leadership: If you want to PvP then grab tactics.

    ::Tactics::

    Heres what worked best for me:

    Start out with with Hasten+Aim+Build Up+Firebreath (always use firebreath first)+Fireball then I run in and blap the Whatever is left to death. If there are a lot of people left then you wait for Aim and Build up to pop back up and hit Inferno to finish the suckers off.

    For blap chains just use it however you feel niccisary. if some1 runs away then stay where you are and hit then with ranged attacks to pull thier aggro again or kill them.

    Hopefully this helps somebody, I had fun making it. heres my build for those of you who dont want to read all the stuff I posted above.

    meh, tell that to the stalkers I killed today.

    Anyway, I use range, if i didnt then i would be stupid, its a great way to open up attack chains. Hit them up with ice blast+BIB on ur way to melee range then BU+Aim and BS+Nrg Punch, by this time theyre toggles are down (the toggle-dropping nerf doesnt bother me, its just a nice side-effect to have while I bash some1s face into the pavement) and I can successfully power push them and get another ice blast and BIB off.

    As far as my fire blaster goes, factor in blaze to the blap chain.

    I can tell that youre trying to suppress memories of getting the crap beaten out of you by blasters, smoggy. I suggest that you consult a defender because, judging on your obvious lack of mental capacity, the defender could kick your butt so fast that you will forget all about the blasters and decide to move on to another MMO. Maybe Brokeback Mountain Online?

    ya, for example:

    Scrappers should have a mederate kill count with a low to moderate death count.

    Tankers should have a low kill count and low death count

    Blasters should have a high kill count and high death count

    Trollers/defenders should have a (depending on class type) low-high(depending on whether or not theyre being taken out intentionally) kill count and low death count but should keep people held and people buffed/debuffed

    now just insert the appropriate villain archetype (call brutes scrappers) and thats perfect.

    As of right now, most of the PvE is incredibly balanced.
    As soon as the placate nerf comes into play wiht the GI nerf in PvP then i think everything will be fine FTMP

  13. your are 100% right in saying that the villain side needs a high damage AT, I play a stalker and I love them. the problem is that they have scrapper-level defence and mez protection as well as the best stealth ability in the game.

    Also, to say that one shouldnt go into SC because of stalkers...well, that just proves my point more, thank you for that.

    looks like someone doesnt understand how blasters work. they arent range-only. their big damage comes from melee because of the risk/reward factor.

    stalkers dont have the same risk but seem to think that they need to have the same reward.

    For as many times as a stalker has killed me, i killed them 2 times. waht makes me mad about them is that they can so easily and mindlessly kill other players.

    to combat this feeling of impending doom, i made a stealth blapper.....they wont know what hit them.
  16. Just so that my position is understood, i play a stalker and find it really fun. its a nice challenge in PvE to play but as far as PvP, they are over powered, dont even try to argue that.

    if they made AS break the -perception of hide like 2 seconds (maybe three, three ust seems a bit too brutal) be4 the attack lands then they would be overpowered at all. make this a PvP only thing.

    Blasters are the damage juggernauts.

    I dont want any freakin mez protection or anything, just want to be the most damaging AT again. The stalkers most damaging attack doesnt drain all of his indurance and leave him stunned like a blaster's does. Sure, we have some great powers, I love blasters and all the other AT's except stalkers in PvP. Nobody should have to get tactics and FA simply because they need to combat one AT in PvP with the catch that if they dont get these powers to combat that AT then they will be totally uneffective in PvP altogether.

    as far as the _Castle_ thing, ya, he favors stalkers, he helps other ATs but not in the way he does with stalkers.

  21. I love the current ability for a blaster player to play a balster, a blapper, or a blastroller. as long as that stays, ill be happy as heck
