I love the new zone. Enjoyed it on test and I actually like the smaller content in the zone. Wouldn't mind a few zones like this in the overarching storyline about going back to repair the damage to the timeline leading to an ultimately "bigger picture" view of the coming storm and Ouroboros.

As for the task force I ran it a few times on test (3 I think) and a couple times on live. So far have had zero issues with the tf. The final battle was always a challenge but each pug I was on finally came together, focused on one nictus at a time and ultimately took them down rather quickly. The last one I was on, once we got everyone to focus on one nictus at a time (we had several differing opinions on how to win) we took out all 4 avs in about 10 mins.

Hmm, I seem to remember way back when issue 12 was going to be small. . .

Seems like not only did they decide to go big with it but added in some sweet options. All that noise going on about closed beta and I totally forgot about the power-up with level-up.

Okay I have read through this thread a couple times. . .Not totally sure why and all i can say is the dev team is full of win.

As for people like PP and one or two others who say leveling is to easy in this game. . . Well, remember not all of us can dedicate a lot of time to this game. I will say when I am off work and have play time it does go by quick. . . But when I am in season and only get a few hours a week to play - leveling is a grind that turns me off to some of my characters and to the game itself.

I dabble in bases and would enjoy seeing some love thrown that way. . . Upping MoG and changing the tier 9 for Dark. . . please no - I dont have room in my builds for another change :-)

Sounds like 2008 is going to be a great year. Pity I wont have much game time until May. . . But I look forward to a few weekends of grind time :-)

Nah. I own GvE and I don't feel unappreciated or unfairly treated at all. OTOH, I'm old enough that grew up before the current culture of entitlement settled in.

Beyond that. . . I am remaining cautiously optimistic. This is my first, last, and only MMO and I love it here. This is my escape from reality, my haven, my socialization, and overall my sanity from the insanity of the outside world.
I fear for my fiance if this game suddenly went under. . . She would have to put up with me after a bad day at work .. . Shudder .. .

I said it on Neutra's post and I will say it here. Neutra's video is something you should be promoting. . . I have been on test and that video made me log off the main servers and head right back to test.
The official one while good. . . Doesn't quite capture the real feel of issue 10. Either way, so far I am LOVING this issue. Great work.

Woot happy birthday Posi and thanks for the present. Not sure how much of this weekend i can make but going into work early today and checking out my schedule - sometimes it's nice to be the boss.

My concern, I9 didnt show us any yellow or red blips on the log-in. Hopefully some people will come back, new people will join, and hopefully they will all be hooked after a double exp weekend. Personally, I love the extra numbers for pug's and for when I visit my old servers that have been very very quiet.

STF completed this morning:

Team make up:
Myself (on my Dark/Regen Scrapper)
Scrapper #2
3 Trollers (3 kins)
2 Def (Emp and Rad)
Tank (Invul/SS)

First few missions flew by - other then one group dc and restart but those were done in about 45-60 mins. Lost our tank for almost the entire set since he had to reboot his system but he came back in time for last mission.
Last mission = PAIN!!! We wiped a couple times with Mako and Scorp and Sricc, then finally pulled with our tank invis and got Mako and Scorp. Both went down fairly easily, then we took out Sricc as he attacked at end with Scor, then GW (Scrappers feel pretty worthless in that battle - run in hit run out repeat). Flier went down in less then a minute and started working on Red Tower while our Ill Troller kept Recluse busy - wiped a couple times when the troller lost aggro or got cornered but finally took the red tower down then started on yellow. Wiped once more, came back, started to take flier down. . . And massive DC!!!

7 of the 8 of us came back to the last mission reset and decided to give it a go (minus one troller). Took out the av's with only minimal trouble, flier next, then red, yellow, green towers. . . All that was left was recluse so we left the blue tower up and hit him all at once. Everyone was one him even after he summoned all the Bane Spiders and we finally took him down.

total time was about 4.5 hours but I think with practice this team could have taken the entire tf in about 2 hours. We also had one of our defenders stall out everytime he tried to zone into the last mission until after 10 tries he rebooted his system and played in safe mode.

Lots of fun and definitely a great thing! Thanks team for sticking with it even through all the issues!

Oh yeah forgot about the drops: Not everyone was as lucky as myself but ended up with 10 recipes (6 common, 3 uncommon, 1 rare), 22 bits of salvage (mostly common and a few uncommon), tons of inspirations, and only 4 SOs!!! Other then the terrible so drops not to bad.
