I wouldn't have brought it up but your idea is mildly insane there's always going to be a market for purples no matter the price because the limit on inf is so enormous as well as the ability to earn inf. It will however level off shy of the inf cap. probably more likely around half that. You intend to fix the problem by...being the problem. perhaps you should come up with a plan B.

I hate to be a downer but have any of you perhaps considered that Color Proliferation might be like power proliferation? In that only a few sets will be changed at a time? BAB's has said about a bajillion times that it is a lot of work to fix the color system. Maybe there will only be a partial fix.

I think that ice/ice fits your playstyle. but i seem to draw a lot of aggro, moreso than on my Fire/mm.

You could also go Arch/* as the rain power there is very quick and high damage.

Fire/* has all the big orange numbers you like. The slows in /ice would help keep your enimies where they are for the rain. But fires high damage really doesn't need it.

In my mind the blasters blaster is nrg/nrg If you explained to concept of a blaster to someone on the street this would be the closest match to what they see.

I was fairly certain it was madeline casey that sent you to that particular map, with the cages and what not. but now i'm not sure cause harvey maylor sounds right too. I think your range defence buffs can be worked on i'm pushing 20% With all the slows your job is to keep at range and avoid ranged damage, i'd trade out your melee defence for a more impressive ranged defence. weave helps but it could be better.

she appears to be a corruption of the tarantula mistress in the foreground. the face chest and for lack of a better word hips are near identical to the tarantula mistress seen in the center right foreground. The shoulder cowling, legs and arms are markedly different in their placement and she seems to lack the abodomen of a tarantula. That may be hidden in the light behind her. I would put her closest in game analog to the arachnoids but even that is a stretch. In any event she's a nasty character very inhuman and not a thing i would want to meet hero or villain side.

Generally accepted forum standards say that the OP is what counts more than the title. back on topic. a self empathy rename...that's wrong on many levels. I'm relatively confident that a self empathizer is a narcissist (sp?). Regeneration as it is now fits it's current name. You are regenerating hitpoints lost but you are taking a more active role in the regen, you have to focus more on it than you would pre-i6 (i think that was the major regen debuff)

Now, I really don't think that conversations like this one that devolve into a masochistic opening of old wounds is ever going to make the devs want to look at fixing some hole in regen. Like they have in other defense sets. As a population we need to agree that adding in -recharge resistance and -regeneration resistance are "on par" with the upgrades that other sets are getting. Also we need to agree that they wouldn't over balance regen into the "easy mode" mode that it once was. If only those two things are added, no changes to the nature of how a power acts (like making IH a toggle again) i don't think you can overbalance it, provided it's a resistance and not a total protection. Any set should have it's "counter" but i don't think the counter to a regen would be -regen. Regen already has counters in the form of empty defence that are plenty easy to exploit.

To counter the argument that regen is still popular I will present the results found in another thread. Regens over level 25 (mostly 50's) and likely reached 50 long ago, 13 . Number of new regens less than level 25, implying they are freshly rolled, 3 . It's a small sample size but if the active posters on this board are not leveling up new regens i think it's indicative of regens need of some new spit and polish.

I've always accounted this to the power armor and muscle density. ie the armor even light armor that rikti wear is powered and enables their altered gravity adjusted frames to function in earths gravity. And/Or their muscles are significantly more powerful (power to size ratio) than a humans. therefore they need less to accomplish the same. Whereas the lost are still using the same desity muscles as humans and require much more to meet the strength requirements. Or they are just mutated and have massive hormone imbalances that result in their appearance.

Going through paragon wiki and the posts in this thread I've read up on dark astoria.

My question is what is the catalyst the BP require to summon a banished god such as adamastor. What is preventing them from summoning more banished gods? Where exactly are they summoning these banished gods from? I would assume the netherworld but it doesn't appear to be specifically mentioned and i suppose it could vary from god to god. I'm building an arc based on the BP making a move to summon another banished god. I just need a couple of filler details to flush thing out.

Also is there any precedent for what the netherwolrd looks like in COx? I always thought the shard matched my internal description pretty well but I'd much rather go with what has been done.
