So i'm sure most of you are familiar with this message. I was able to connect yesterday no problem, today, I can not.

I'm running win7 pro 64 bit.
i7 920 (stock)
3x1G ram
ati 4870

hmm connected at about #12 closed then reopened and connected first try. anyone know why that may have happened. I'm glad it's working but magic and luck is not something i want to rely on forever.

reboot didn't help, wandering over to help forum now.

hmmm so it seems i can not connect to the patching server at the moment (connecting.. #5) so dunno what is going on...gonna try a reboot then do something more invasive if that don't fix it...>_>

Would I be wrong to say this sounds a lot like Marvin Martian and Bugs Bunny style? You could probably find some neat stuff if you look in that direction. Tom & Jerry have done some work in a similar department. More often they look at the theme post moon landing though. If I'm not mistaken Flash Gordon, is pretty spot on too. If I got the right name there.

Contests are good for aspiring artists, it gives them chance to flex their muscles and encourages them to do their best. For working artists it sucks. They can spend a lot of time and effort and come up with zero payoff.

Recently there was a contest on DA that netted over 100 pieces of unique art, broken down the artist payed something like $2.50 per piece. For the winners it was a good deal as they got payed at least $25 for their work. Everyone else got squat. For all those people that got squat, what are the odds that they do another contest for the person? what are the odds they'll even accept a commission from the person? Consider that all the people that lost may now feel that you think their artwork isn't good enough for that person.

Good way to get art, though you may regret it in the future.

I'd kinda like to see how PB does on an itf, i know it didn't work out last time, but maybe if we could get a couple tanks working together... i dunno whatever.

I am having/will have/had him do a nice 4-D piece for me. Unfortunately he will/was/is only able to work on it this/next/last week, and I can/have/will only ever see it today/tomorrow/yesterday.

for caem: chibi originally comes from probably manga and in its purest form is a character that is usually half height and 1/3 to half of that is head. wikipedia says chibi means short person or small child. Chibis are usually meant to show greater expression and are probably the basis for emoticons. However that definition has expanded to include all sorts of variation. Generally cute and short are the operative words.

mmm tasty art is tasty...still no bits though...unless you consider the bullets bits. I like that bit, i've never really been a fan of bullet ricochet off skin, it's not steel it's skin!

skin is good. now try taking a whack at hands You said last time you tried to hide them and i see you've done it again. Personally I would look at some sailor moon stuff (since you said you draw anime), the hands in that anime always seemed to have a simpler quality to them...then of course what the hell do I know. :P great work keep it up!

hmmm evil offspring? 'Shakes has a kitten in the rogues a stalker named Ches'sa, kat/ninjitsu. I was never really fond of her, probably because I never got into stalkers. (even though that is my only villain 50) 'Shakes even sports a shoulder kitten in Ches'sa's colors.

Then of course there is Twin Sister, who is kinda a twin of Little Sister but more of a super regeneration anamoly. She is not evil though.

TBH I think 'Shakes is the only character who has a complete bio. Little Sister is kinda vague as is PB both have rough outlines of either inception or life but not both. Perhaps when GR goes live I will give twin her due (probably recreate from scratch) and pass her on to the "dark side" as a result of living in the shadow of her ... what the hell do you call that... progenitor?
