Sharing a new pic!

I was trying to practice coloring some and used this pic to practice.

Oh and this is my character "Genie of Flame" hehe. I always like to toss fire around her .. I think it really adds to her character hehe and gives me an excuse to practice fire

I like the subtle lightening gradiation in the ribcage and collorbone areas. I noticed You didn't go overboard with it. Restraint can be as powerful a tool in an artist's arsonal as boldness.
The ears are Hawt, and the skin tone reduces (or blends) the glaring contrast between the fire rings and the night sky.

Nice work on this! I'm hoping we can see more stuff!! (hint, hint)

This is my new favorite piece from you Genie.
I like the colors, the orange of the flames on the blue of the sky and
the silver of her eyes on the brown of her skin all make for some really nice contrast, very nice.

The fire almost seems to be following a pattern like some kind of symbol or rune, is that what you were going for?

Riotwraith -- I actually had a lot of trouble doing the skin so I'm glad someone thinks it looks ok lol. I am used to drawing anime junk with lots of kimono and that kind of style clothing so doing pics with a lot of skin is new to me lol.

Christopher -- Thank you! *blushes* >_< hehehe. I am happy that people seem to like her this pic was good practice and I wasn't really going for a pattern but more to simply show that the fire is controlled as opposed to just flaming around her.

skin is good. now try taking a whack at hands You said last time you tried to hide them and i see you've done it again. Personally I would look at some sailor moon stuff (since you said you draw anime), the hands in that anime always seemed to have a simpler quality to them...then of course what the hell do I know. :P great work keep it up!
