Riotwraith -- I actually had a lot of trouble doing the skin so I'm glad someone thinks it looks ok lol. I am used to drawing anime junk with lots of kimono and that kind of style clothing so doing pics with a lot of skin is new to me lol.
Dark Ether-- THank you ^^ I have a deviantart but I never use it. Kind of bored with that site been thinking of just making a personal site with my art but I have been lazy....
Christopher -- Thank you! *blushes* >_< hehehe. I am happy that people seem to like her this pic was good practice and I wasn't really going for a pattern but more to simply show that the fire is controlled as opposed to just flaming around her. -

I was trying to practice coloring some and used this pic to practice.
Oh and this is my character "Genie of Flame" hehe. I always like to toss fire around her .. I think it really adds to her character hehe and gives me an excuse to practice fire

Kheldarn -- I did try photoshop and it wasn't that complicated to use but I used it back when PSP7 was the latest version LOL Back then on my PC it used to take photoshop about 3 minutes JUST TO OPEN. lmao.. and thank you! I can't wait to do more! It's nice to feel inspired I've been in such an art block but now I am too inspired because I can't stop making new characters and decide which to play lmao
Christopher -- Thank you for all the suggestions. I really would like to learn I did pause and hold out my own hand in an attempt to use reference but that iddn't work out so well LOL ONE DAY I WILL GET IT. lol

Sorry for missing these last two replies.
Paint Shop Pro is awesome, the older versions people dont' give it enough credit. I'm so often told how I should be using photoshop because it's "better" but I tried photoshop and it takes so long just to open the program let alone figure out what everything does lol.
I personally prefer things simplified then overly complicated.
----------And I just added a new piece I just finished. Hope people like it

I use Paint Shop Pro 7, outdated yes but I prefer it over the new "better" versions.

And that is a great suggestion for the fire ring, I will keep that in mind should I ever do another picture of her that shows off her energy thanks for the tip and I am happy to see you think the body is well done since I really have been practicing to improve not hiding everything in baggy clothing lol.

This is my highest level hero character.
"Genie of Flame" a little fire genie who is still learning about the world and loves to observe things.
She is seen most often when I am idle somewhere just levitating in mid air sitting, often surrounded by fire energy as she finds comfort within it.
I got alittle lazy on the background so I just added it a sky to it lol.
It's been a while since I've done fire energy so hope it looks ok ... she has a fire energy that pulses out in a ring around her and then also flames that actually surround her.
I am not so great with defined body's I usually hide them under really baggy clothes so I am proud of this one since it was good practice and one of these days I will lose the bad habit of hiding hands behind objects and actually learn to draw them @.@
I wanted to practice a little more and chose Stormy as my subject since she has such a tight top so it was good practice.
Her hair was a pain but I really love how it came out.
I was going to try to show her hands in this one but after redrawing the arms and failing at the hands a good 7 times I stuck em behind her like always LOL >_>;;;

Wow going through your thread here you can really see the levels of improvement you went through with your coloring.
Your art is wonderful and your sketches alone blow me away with their detail and skill. -

And to the rest of the conversation.
Trials cannot send team invites either so not only can trial's not respond to those who are broadcasting looking for team by sending a tell they can't send an invite either to show they are interested. They have to track someone down to be able to talk in local chat and when you're out around more or less anywhere that isn't Atlas I almost never saw another person that was actually within chat range.
And about the WoW thing, I played WoW and I thought that was reasonable. There was a lot of trouble with the gold sellers coming on and spamming so they added the restriction that you could only whisper people who were on your friends list/contacted you first which I thought was completely reasonable.

I finally got the game last night so thankfully I am no longer restricted but still it was beyond frustrating to have so much trouble communicating with others...
Also to the people who like to say "Go buy the game it's 5 bucks at Amazon.com" they should read the fine print as it's actually $11. Still a good buy compared to $19.99 but it's not "Just 5 bucks" lol. -
I don't need an explanation of why it is there I already stated a few times that I understand it provides spamming protection but suggesting that legitimate trial users be permitted to atleast respond to a tell isn't unreasonable.
It is hard to enjoy an online game when it is difficult to communicate with other players. -
To the "stopping spammers" comment. You wouldn't be spamming if you were simply responding to a tell that you received from someone already.
I can understand trials being unable to send tells as spammer protection but not when someone has actually spoken to them.
My comment was more towards.
Random person: Hey want to join my team?
Me: YA SURE!

I currently have until the 21st for my trial...
Does anybody know if I were to upgrade my account tomorrow would it just immediately go to the free 30 days or would it start after the 21st?
And if it does wait until the 21st to add the 30 days.. do I still have my trial restrictions until then or do I get the restrictions removed right away? -
I just wanted to thank every one who has been so helpful! Sometimes on forums for games you find some rather impolite people. I am sure they exist but I am happy I found the helpful ones first! =D
I can't wait for my game to arrive.. the only downfall of buying it for cheaper... the wait of continuing to suffer (lol) on a trial >_< -

Ya I was looking at the different reward things on this wiki I found. I really like the magic one but I think the $5 version of the game is more in my price range then the $20 version of it.. atleast for now hehe. I would really like that magic outfit set though so perhaps I would be able to get it one day :3

I looked on Gamestop and saw you could pre-order the "going rogue" thing for $40 and thought that was it god I feel like a noob!
You don't know how happy your post just made me to find a place that has it for 5 bucks! I am so gonna go buy it =D
But even so on a more serious note. People shouldn't have to feel like they have to go buy it just to be able to start forging friendships during their trial account.
Because in a game like this making a few friends could be the dealbreaker for some for buying a game and not buying it ....because gee it is an online game after all so for some meeting people is important.
