I will be on the test server 1 and it will be the blue side. if you would like to edit you will need to add a toon to the sg, so make sure you copy a toon that you can do this with. Also if you have a flying toon make sure you bring it or use a duel build and add fly to it. We will be using fly to edit the base. I am looking to do the first class this saturday 6/14 the first class will be at 7pm est the second class will be 11pm est. please send me a pm here or ingame @-stacker to sign up. the first 8-10 people will get in each class. when you sign up i will send you the vent info so if you dont have vent please down load it. you can still listen if you dont have a mic. I also have a sg on the test server that we can use. i was thinking of hosting it there so if you are not on the test server yet take some time this week and download it and get your self set up. the class size at one time i will limet to 8 people. we will also have a vent server for our use donated by Sidhe_Blade. i will post more info to come as i get it. For the first class hosted by myself it will be the basics of stacking, and we will be making stairs.

Ok im glad to see that this something that people would be intrested in. I just got back from vacation so i havent settled back into my day to day. i will work on setting up the first class here in the comming week then i will post a date and time i might possably will do two of the same classes the same day at different times that way people from both coasts can join. i might have to have a guest limet per class just so people have enough time to get in the editor, but when i have the details i will share. Dont worry about the gas problem i only do that around Cap A when he is staring at my base with his mouth open

Thats the idea, to show a pic on how to stack with a safe and floor tile is different that showing them in person. to know that if you rotate the tile you can move it around better. to show what the best camera angles to use. i was thinking of doing some kind of voice chat for it as well to make it easy.

All in all it would be a way to show people the best practices on building, like making stairs or stacking from the ceiling. showing the best way to judge hight or showing how to hang wall items not on the walls or angle them. The other thing is to lay out a big project before building, making sure things fit so nothing over laps and you have that blinking item witch gets old.

What kind of other things would people like to see?

I have been tossing this idea around for a bit and I am looking for some feed back. If I were to host a build lab where I can show people the basics to the extremes of what this base editor is capable of. I get a lot of questions about how I make the things I do, and I always seem to have one to two people watch when I build. I have a base that is small that I use for storage but will work for this idea. Anyone that comes to a class will be granted edit abilities to make this hands on. Maybe set up a couple bases for this so multiple people can edit. There could be guest builders that can come and show and teach there ideas. What would you like to see, would this be something that people would want to come to and learn? Any feed back would be awesome in helping me figure out a way to make this happen.

The only problem is to get the effect you have to use a crap load of them to make the white wall and the way the item count is in bases you might try banners. here are a couple wall textures i have played with.

If there is anything I can do to help with the organization of the tours or any part of the process please count me in. I Love to see what people come up with and the detail that can be made with what little we have to work with. The details are what make our bases fun to build and what drives our creativity. That’s where I get my drive to try to bring a room to the next level. I am excited to get around the community and see the amazing work that everyone is doing

Yes i killed the base...just my bar and my prison are the only things standing that i have...i wanted some double doorway look so i upgraded my plot to the max to fit the rooms that i want to double door. after looking at it and the auto refund..the thearter and bowling alley could have stayed but i made them about a year ago and with the new system i can make them a lot better. I have stuff planed for 13...im looking for the wow factor with my base so a lot of things i have planed should bring that.

So the name for my bar finaly came to me as i was showing it off the other night. Im going to call it Pre 13, just for the fact that i want people to know i was that crazy to make it with the old system of stacking. And just to let you know how crazy here are some shots of the building

It’s time to dust off this thread and add my bar to the mix. I was about 1700 items into it when lighthouse posted about refunds, I figured what the hell and continued on my way. The bar has about 2600 items and took me a little over 4 weeks to complete. It is by far the biggest project I have ever done. So here we go hope you enjoy!! It all started with this crazy idea to float a sewer cap to the ceiling….in case you are wondering yes it took a lot of desks 920 to be exact. It looks like this. That turned into these.
