Silky and I might have a toon or two to join you with. At the moment 90% of our heroes are in our SG on Infinity but we are loath to switch fully as the base there is several years old and well established with everything we need.
It would be nice to have full teams again to play with blueside. On Infinity 80% of the time these days its just the two of us. -

I think as long as everyone goes into it knowing what they are in store for it will be a fun time for all. You can definitely put Silky and I down for the next attempt.
After all, even with the two aborted runs I gained over two levels with Amazon Anne last night. -
Okay .... NOW I'm starting to get excited. Time to start planning and going to bed early so I can make the most of that weekend.

Bugger... the first Wednesday night that Silky and I have to miss and it sounds like it was a fun one. Amazon Anne and Silk Zulu are 27 so I would like to put their names down for next weeks SF.

Yeah I had the same problem when I tried the auto update. It totally fried the program and I had to reinstall it.

They are toggles remember. If you want to see if they are really worth it play for an hour with them on then leave them off for an hour and see how your character plays.

Funily enough the population seems to have increased slightly since the free transfers became available. Apart from that though from direct experience of playing every week on this server for the last two years then yes the number of people you see running around and have available to team with has dropped significantly.

Niviene are you guys out to get me? Last week on our regular Tuesday nights play and as we are about to get kicked off for the third week in a row due to a patch I said to my playing partner "hey how about we switch to wednesday nights for playing instead of Tuesday? That way we never have to worry about getting kicked off again." He thinks for a bit and says "Yeah, I think i can rearange things to do that. Lets start next week."
And what happens? This week there is no patch on "patch" night and instead there is one tonight. I'm starting to get paranoid... Has the patch day been changed or is this just a once off? -

Okay that is very good to hear. I've briefly spoken to my friends and we are going to be transferring a selection of our characters to Justice to join you guys. We will be working out exactly which ones on Sunday. We play both sides but the majority of our toons are heroes.
We may be recreating our existing supergroup but thats not because we are anti-social its simply because we have gotten use to having our own dedicated enhancement tables which we could do as there was only 4 consistant players in our SG. But that may be just one set of characters we do that with. We are not sure yet. I really wish they would let characters belong to more than one SG.
So we should see you all sometime in the next week. We're looking forward to it. -
Okay now myself and two friends who play together recently are currently living on Infinity and we are going to be shifting some of our pairings to other servers as we wouldn't mind having other people on the server to play with. Now we are considering moving at least one to freedom to try it out but we are also trying out Justice to see if we can hook up with other Aussie players. My question is this... are you OZ players currently on Justice staying put or are you planning on shifting to another server as well?
We would really like to start having regular full teams to play with on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights. -
It's working out great. Friday nights are now great fun as we can get together a regular team and play till we can't keep our eyes open anymore.

It's not antagonism, it's pointing out bad argumentation. It doesn't lend any credence to your case to assume you speak for other people, even when you know other people agree with you. It's also irrelevant to making the point.
I could care less who you think everyone is or who the OP thinks everyone is. When dealing with matters of the playerbase, I can guarantee you that no matter what you propose/state/argue, there will be someone who doesn't feel the same way. The only way to avoid that is to speak for yourself.
Trying to rally support or a mass of players who agree with you in this case makes zero difference about whether the Community team is able or willing to address the issue. Either they will, or they won't. However I know for a fact that making a clear statement of what's bothering you without getting bogged down in unprovable rhetoric will get you a lot closer to a resolution than either
A) inflating the magnitude of the problem
B) inflating the number of people who are bothered by the issue
I posted what I did, because when it comes to forum issues, a direct PM to the Moderators is flat out the simplest and most effective way to get things done. Posting about it is just talking to a bunch of people who can't do anything to resolve the issue.
If you think I was attacking someone personally, I'll say that you're being oversensitive (oversensitive on someone else's behalf no less), and leave it at that.

As to your post being antagonistic your are berating someone for bringing up something that you didn't believe in. You could have just said "no I dont agree with you" but instead you attack him on two fronts. One being that he bring it up on the forums in the first place then again for suggesting he was speaking for others. Sorry but to me that is antagonistic.

This is not the tone of someone trying to rally support for a cause. I think it might be you be a might over sensitive here. Are you trying to tell me it's wrong to mention that others beside yourself are being affected by an issue. -

There does not seem to be a consistent format or any particular set time in advance for the announcements to occur. Obviously, emergencies are one thing, but surely planned installs can get a consistent announcement time.
The problem of not having a consistent format is obvious when you look at some of the annoucements over the last month. The times that are announced are not always given with links to timeanddate.com (last night's one), or given with wrong links (the 10th November one), or even a completely different time format (the 30th October one, CST instead of PST).
Obviously, the customer group who pays attention to these is not large, but I think we'd appreciate a slightly more professional approach. -

And even if there is a reason they want a character to be visible for 30 seconds there is no logical reason that I can see for that to stop you logging in again. If its a different toon then you could potential see your character in the last stages of vanishing if it is the same then it will just be like the loggout was cancelled before the countdown finished.
