  1. You don't need mitigation on a Stone. Pick /FM.
  2. Yeah, I wouldn't play that at all.
  3. 1. I usually don't have anything crashing my exotic defense while dishing it. Even then, Strength of Will combined with my regen has always straightened that out.

    2. The number of attacks has never been a problem.

    Still...

  9. I'm running Windows XP. Initially, I kept having the problem William detailed so I uninstalled the program and attempted to re-download it. While trying both 1.9.0 and 1.9.0, I get this: "Unable to decompress data chunk, it seems to be corrupted."

Followed by "An error occured during decompression: Uncompressed data was not the expected size!"

SOLVED: I pasted mhd.mhz from the website over the one in my Program Files and it corrected itself from there. Crazy.

I just reread this and I'm still scratching my head on this one.... and I just respec'd my L50 just a moment ago in-game

You don't lose any "bonus" by respec'ing a L50 using L47's. If I'm not mistakened, the bonuses stay the same. You're not changing your level under any circumstance. Unless you're referring to the "Show More Detailed Info" button showing your information incorrectly.
  12. Maybe it can go Launch, every one gets one freespec.

TWO weeks after launch everyone gets the second respec. This way EVERYONE has a chance to move their slotting over accordingly.

  14. [ QUOTE ]

In addition, could we please have it so that all members of the team gets the cane, not just whomever opened the present? I belive that this would lead to more Winter Lord teams throughout the zones. (As opposed to several in AP, along with the lone one I was on in KR.)

    [/ QUOTE ]

I thought it was already common sense that rewards are shared on all teammates in a zone.

Though I had to learn the truth when the first Cane hunting party died in 5 minutes.
  15. [ QUOTE ]
Firstly, WAY over-simplified. Everyone is either an easy-going player or an exploiting weasel, eh?
Secondly, you're not describing two types of players, you're describing two extremes on a spectrum.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I will own up to this being WAY over simplified. I couldn't think of breaking it down the way I wanted to in such a rushed amount of time, someone was breathing down my neck as I was writing that.

Someone actually told me that you can technically break games down into four "suits" (like the cards in a deck) but I forgot the exact composition of it.

    [ QUOTE ]
The IO set should be hard to get, farming 24 times isn't hard but is a bit tedious when it's the same mission over and over and over. ((Hint Hint: Add other missions...))

    [/ QUOTE ]
Or even have ANY mission during the winter event drop a single candy cane (or two).

    [/ QUOTE ]

Or include it in the random wheels for the cost of 1 Merit. (Technically it can count as a large inspiration *shrugs*)

And if I can, I'd edit that "is a bit tedious" to it is tedious.
  16. [ QUOTE ]
If the devs weren't interested, they probably wouldn't have started this thread.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    QFT.

Remember that there are two types of gamers who play CoH/CoV.

    Those who like to:

    * farm, power level, badge hunt, accolade hunt, [censored] and abuse every kind of possible aspect of the game to further themselves.

    * people who take it easy, go through the game to level at their leisure. Etc. etc.

With the ratio of drops of canes from the presents to being "naughty" realistically the only viable option to receive those gifts of the store was to farm 24 times to just get the IO winter set, farm 5 times and pay 30K of inf to get the winter badges of yesteryear, farm an additional 4 (or was it 5) times to get this year's winter gifts and badges.

Really the items like badges and the like SHOULD be toned down, TREMENDOUSLY!!! Like say 10K of inf and 5 canes.

The IO set should be hard to get, farming 24 times isn't hard but is a bit tedious when it's the same mission over and over and over. ((Hint Hint: Add other missions...))

With the bugs that were present that made it difficult to actually farm these missions, maybe some tweaking of these numbers in general is appropriate.

Nonetheless, I'm definently holding onto my canes from this season and waiting until December for that season's gifts. And to give myself a head start.

I'll also add one bit of a suggestion: Enable Hero to Villain and vice versa cane sharing.
  17. I'll make a judgement on whether this is objective or subjective... or maybe both.

    * I absolutely hate the fact that the only way for you get to even get close to purchasing a set, is to have to farm 24 times (per character). And let's not start on the points needed for badges. No thank you.

    * Anyway, father time can offer a different set of missions instead of the same one over and over?

    * Slopes seem to be more geared toward those with a lot of friends with Speed Boost-like boosts and super speed... No idea how to do the run in 10 seconds.

*An easier way back up to the top would be appreciated. Especially if you ran the slope run and am now looking at the ceiling wondering how to get back up.

    * A teleporter beacon inside the ski resort area would be fun. (Make it a seasonal thing where the door will only open at the winter event not before.)

    * Please do not have on the Zombie/Rikti missions... Including the spawning of the LGTF. It's irritable.

    There's more.

EDIT: I saw that... it made no sense.

Fixed a display problem with the map compass in Cimerora.

I was wrong when I reported that this was fixed over on Test. If, when you first start the client, you log in to a character in Cimerora first, you will still get this issue. The compass will be double sized and will stay that way until you quit the client.

Hey this might explain the spams... I'm for this one but if this is the case, maybe it might be appropriate to lower the level requirement or get rid of the level requirement for all the normal accounts.
