  1. Heh! Dogpile on the Rabbit! Dogpile on the Rabbit! Dogpile on the Rabbit!

(if the op ever reads this)
Seriously though you wanted some feedback re: a heal-bot build. As a build designed to act something like the I love Lucy episode where the assembly line keeps coming, it works well enough. Not ideally certainly and some valid suggestions have been made in the thread already. The key distinction though is that defenders in this game have access to sets of abilities that slow the assembly line down, or stop it all together. Team up with a Trick arrow defender and watch how a set without any heals at all can be a very effective support character.

What I think many of the posters are trying to communicate to you is that capable and effective defenders are not “Healers” rather they use a variety of tools to ensure the safety of their team. By failing to consider the additional effects of a defender’s “blast set” you are missing out on what will make your build seem like a better “healer” while doing a lot less healing.
  2. 1930’s speakeasies, cool cars, lampposts. It would be a great theme for a TF! All the golden age heroes would congregate there for sure. If not a whole time-traveled area maybe have the option to populate AE with old-timey settings. Let us at this and dinosaurs (for a lost world theme) and Boom, I’ll never turn off the client!
  3. I think a zone map with old cars streetcars, and a bi-plane in the sky would be awesome. The zones GM could be a huge ape!
  4. Oh Mag 1. Thats useful against -10's? Ah well another good idea down the tubes.
  5. After slotting this proc in taunt (tank) and running with it for 2 levels I didnt notice anytime where it worked. So I ran a mission solo with minions and noticed while taunt autohit the proc never seemed to trigger. Sample size i used was large enough (40+ instances) to rule out just chance.Combat window didnt show any rolls either. Is this bugged or am I missing something? Im fairly certain that even if no animation is triggered the mobs would have missed an attack just standing there.
  6. In the last two weeks Ive been having serious lag. Investigations revealed my framerate was dropping to less than 10fps during flying/fights. Hmm never had a problem before, so I am wondering is it me or has something changed significantly that I no longer can run COH effectively? After some modification to my system settings, I am running as such without improvement:

    ideas?
  7. Is there any way to get Missions taking place at night? I think night time versions of outdoor maps and/or some way to dim lighting on indoor maps would be excellent.

    Ice/? Defender?

Cold/ Ice may be a bit tought to chew through until you get your ice storm. Just from a satisfaction route. You may feel like something is missing. Sure your sheilds may be popular but its a tough road until you get your 2 rains. Once you get your blizzard (3rd rain) you'll feel that you can handle anything..... Now if you could only get artic air....
  9. With the new resource of the mission architect at your disposal an SG initiation arc introducing the officers of the sg as npc’s/ contacts along with an introduction to some themed rivals may also be helpful in building a meaningful commitment to the sg. It may take some effort to build an arc with some prominent officers in it but fostering the feeling of belonging to the SG is what keeps SG’s active. Something like this would go a long way to making the SG more memorable than say the uber team Z who broadcasts for recruits.
  10. [ QUOTE ]
You know... just examine this little plan:
    1. Get yourself into a huge SG.
    2. Get every member of your SG to publish 3 arcs out with small maps, just one mission each so they're very short to complete.
    3. Go and 5-star each others' arcs. Each 5-star grants 25 tickets without the author doing anything other than publishing the arc. That's 75 tickets for each SG-member from each other SG-member.
    4. After each SG-member has rated each Arc, remove all the Arcs and have each member re-publish their arcs with new ID's!
    5. Rinse Repeat, and since the tickets are account-wide claimable, make sure to claim them and distribute them amongst your neediest characters before you reach the global ticket-cap per account!
I think this means that if the number of members in your SG is "n", then your tickets can be expressed as "75 * (n - 1)" so optimally, if you're in an SG with 46 members, you'd be netting 3375 tickets for practically publishing three meaningless arcs. This of course is above and beyond what you can get with normal MA/AE gameplay, so basically, collect (or join) 45 other people who like you, want tickets more than anything else, and go clean up.

Would you think that this constitute an "exploit of the system" and might bring down the hammer of positron on the SG members? I think it might be considered "against the spirit" of the system. It seems they want us to play the game, not the system. It would be interesting to find out if they could determine this was being done and what exactly the devs would do.
  11. Hopefully this is one of the "quality of life changes" that are upcomming though I am an optimist.

    Subjective Feedback
I would like to see a chance to earn these enhancements upon being defeated by another player (Say about half the chance of getting one if you defeat another player). It would encourage a mentality of "It doesn't matter if you win and lose, as long as you play the game". It would encourage players who are new to the system ("Oh geez I got my butt kicked but I got this great enhacnement that dropped so now I can slot this and do better next time!") and generally encourage people to finish fights to the bitter end instead of the hit and run tactics.

I like this idea. Though if it were institued this is the one that should have the 10 min timer.
  13. With Boxing and Air Superiority you have your 2 chop attacks right there. Maybe expand the fighting pool (like with some of the epics) to get a judo throw and you'd be golden!
