The map that i am running in AE is the cave map with fire trolls. Its the normal cave map with the mobs walking around and the trolls are fire dmg

That sort of risk is an after the fact discovery. Herein lies my basis of argument/discussion. For you its a thing you would not get into or invest in. "i" as a novice in the world of computer programming and MMORPG had no idea that i was exposed to loss in the capacity of using the things i bought.

I was unaware that if i used team insp I could in a way loose my money and waste it because the game could DC me. wELL NOT THE GAME BUT THE code or the current incarntion of the game. I dont mean to say that the game itself would cause this. I mean to say that the current bugs allow this to happen or rather creat a place for this occurance.

While certainly understand based upon my history your presumtion. And yes I ranted. And yes i also removed the post and put it in its proper place on the boards. I respectfully disagree.

I do run this map on a lot of my toons because its a great map for drops and threads that almost any character can run to earn some goodies. The mission i am refering to is the sister solaris map in cimorea from the Dark Astoria arcs. This map i'm sure your aware but ill state it incase anyone reads this and is not aware has 5 heros that assist you in killing large mobs. These assistants are buffable and because my blaster and some tanks etc... have no buffs to give other than some leadership or incarnate(which the character i was playing does not yet have) its a great map to use the team insp buff that last 5 mins. Which you have to pay to use. However the drops are great and i enjoy that map so I choose to use them.

Now on this map I dc'd which caused the map to become useless to me as i cannot keep the assitants alive through the large boss mobs at the level i was set at. So the insp i used were wasted insofar that i alone would not be able to complete the map at teh difficulty setting i am at, however I had to pay for them in "real money" Hence my frustrations.
Now i know that the amount is trivial in the big picture of my life. However I would prefer that it didn't happen, and I would prefer to not have this happen so again. Lets say it happens again this month. Now i lost more real money. I feel I am already paying to play this game and now i'm kicking in extra and its going out the window.

Also how much per month is oko to loose through a dc or mapserve per month?

Of course i will admit "just dont run that map" i will admit and accept " dont use those buffs on hero NPC's." However isn't that not the point(my rant aside) is it not the point that these things that you pay real money for can be wasted and there is no way, not one way as of yet to recompensate for this?

What if this was a baf that dc'd or a tpn? Until you are reset and back on the map the buffs ware off. I think you see my point. Also I rant im trying hard not to but sometimes i get frustrated as you can see.

So please accept my apology for ranting in the wrong way and not presenting it clearly and also posting it in the wrong forum. And I hope that I have explained myself better.

thanks again for that link and i posted my rant there. I also sent in a more coherent message about the issue.

I know nothing will happen this is way down the list of things for the devs to do. However I guess its some time of alert that this happens and maybe you/me should not use these insp in a way that would incase of a dc make the mission objectives unobtainable.

I am always on the side of the player.... But how is this trial different from every other thing in the game?

Do you have any hybrid slots unlocked?
Are any of your characters +1 yet?
Do you have any hamios?
Do you have any super insp at all?
Do you have any acolaides at all?
Do you have a badger?

It does not matter what you said yet to or not.... This is a game a video game that is 8 years old. You have to play it to get a 50 you have to play it to get a badge, a level shift, a merit, whatever...

This is no different than the winter event or any other event.

I understand this is not working as intended but it will and it works great on some toons. And on some powers. I think the only real problem that the devs have in this regard besides the "bug"

And this is my biggest piss off with them.

Its another lack of communication, Another lack of talking to and pacifying their customers!

Let us know its broke and that youll fix it.

let us know there is a Bug here or there, let us know its not state secret. Talk to us. You do anyways.

I thinkthe problem is the Development team does not have a public realations person in the game and if they do well that person sucks rikti monkey scalp.

Just let us know what is going on in the game were paying for. Espessially when its been pointed out ad nauseum by the players. You have to know so just say hey we have an issue here and make it a GMOTD done. Thanks problem "not solved" but calmness reinstated.
