Considering how many times I've 5-slotted purple sets for the 10% recharge bonus with no def bonus, I can see myself 5 or 6-slotting this set more often than breaking it up. Depends on what you want to achieve, but defense and a big recharge bonus in one set is very attractive. And, as I said, a Street Justice scrapper has a targeted AoE attack and the other options for that aren't very attractive. -

However I was ably to take of a sub optimal set in a dmg attack/stun that i only had room for the stun purple set. I put in Brute ATO and gained a dmg attack back which is sweet
Not only that i sold the purple set for 1.3 billion and spent about 175 mill on the last 3 ATO's i needed.
just to remind you all. This is when you take an ATO and use a catalyst on it. NOt only does it give same bonuses as purples(which sucks) its now Bound to you forever(which sucks more) -
its true i got to 100% for the first time in a long time. I think this goes past the fury nerf. At least it felt that way.

I saw this too. Thankfully i had unloaded mine as well as all my pvp ios about 3 weeks ago. However on an up note
ATIOs are entirely insanse, loopy, nutso on the market today. I was lucky and got in early this morn and made a MINT. I mean a huge mint.
People are selling low and Im buying. And selling High and people were buying. I got out about 430 pm est. And it seems to still be going on. I just couldnt keep logging in toons. And now im jsut waiting for the dust to settle.
But WOW. I mean WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!!!

But in the super packs you may get what you need. As well as i got about 3000 merits in the super packs i got cause i had nothing to spend them on.
So i could jsut buy the ios but why bother.
Right now this min prices are about 50-150 mill each. Which is less than the merits you would use to buy them just get lotgs and then use cash in market. -
Prices are all over he place. Bid low for now. I bought for my blaster in the 50 mill area. But i see in the 150s and 100s for rarer toons.
Makes me wonder if blasters, scrappers, and brutes are the most popular wont they be the highest price.
Wont my bane spider cost the least?

When you purple-up an ATO with a catalyst, the name of the bonus is "Ultimate" whatever. Because it's the same named bonus, it's rule-of-fived. I know because my brute had 4 purple sets slotted, and when I purpled my shiny new brute set, my list of set bonuses now shows 5 x Ultimate Recharge Bonus.
Which isn't that big of a deal, because if you DON'T purple it up, you have things like an 8.75% recharge bonus that you can't get anywhere else, for a lot of sets.
By the way. A purple set that is 50+5 is better than the atio sets. So i have no need for the new ones except on some rare toons since im purpled on everything. And my mains are +5s -
When applying a catalyst to a ATIO that brings bonuses up to purple levels does that count as to the rule of 5 or is it a seperate bonus.

Without factoring in likes and dislikes, the dp/kin corruptor will outperform a dp/nrg blaster. The corruptor on it's own will do similar or better damage than the blaster after level 38 (fulcrum shift) as well as have better survivability (transfusion) and zero endurance issues (transference). Then when you factor in teaming, the usefulness of the kin will be miles away better than the blaster. However as mentioned, redraw will be a major setback for this combination, kinetics is a very active set and you will be redrawing your pistols very often, this issue will become bigger as you level up and start getting set bonuses. If you're not dead set on dual pistols and you want to play kinetics I'd strongly reccomend a nonweapon set.

The scourge on TotalFocus is sickly fun though. But i agree just for team stuff the coor support sets are great. But for total fun i just dont like DP
I wanted to like DP i love the animations etc.. I just think its weak. There is much better out there. -
I made a blaster dp/em and its meh. I have 3 other blasters and this one is the weakest.
I made a dp,ta corr thats meh lots of aoe.
I dont like DP after trying it 2 times.
Both times i got it to 50 and iod it well.
DP is just pfft.

I've been watching damage purple prices go a little nuts. There are lowball bids I meant to cancel before convertageddon made them "average" bids that have already filled as people dump their storage bins on the market. I've enjoyed re-listing those for a profit, of course.
There are some places where the speculation makes sense to me; I don't see a down-side to unloading my Glad Armor uniques at 2bn right now, when I know how easy it's going to be to replace them with the pile of Glad Armor end/rech I picked up as soon as converters were announced for 5-10 million each. And I don't know where that particul ar IO (at 50) will stabilize, but I'm guessing it won't be spitting distance of 2bn.

I already did this. In spades and I spent no more than 1 million per recipie. Purple and pvpios too. I bought hundreds.
I too do not know what i am going to do with all these ios except super pimp even my lesser used toons and sell the rest. -
I use some ranged attacks on one or two mobs then hit Pff. wait to draw them in and Then boom goes the dynamite.
If im on a team Ill do same thing but eat some reds to make sure no stragglers.
KB pisses of a lot of people in this game so I try to be accomidating on my main.
I usually play my fire/psy now but My energy energy is my old main and currently the only badger i have.
I suggest getting as much def as you can. I think im sitting around 17-18% with stealth, combat jumping, steadfast, resist(pvpio)3%. and bonuses, -
