My elec/elec blaster is an all melee, end draining SOB. I don't agree with everything in this guide but then again it's a ranged elec/elec guide. So YMMV -

I smell another cry out from people like what happened to the wing recipes. People are going to complain that they cant afford the price for the recipe. Which in all honesty, will only be afforded by the filthy rich.
But whatever maybe they'll increase the drop rate on them. -
Hey Elandil great guide. Having a fifty fire/storm myself I agree with everything you said about each one of the powers. I currently farm with my fire/storm. The build imposting is a bit different then the one I currently have. i dont have the fighting pool's three powers boxing, tough and weave. Instead I have acrobatics, aid other and aid self. Also my current build does not have a miracle unique cause they have eluded me for some time. But I will get it
.
Anyways I am planning on respec'ing into this build on test first to check my endurance since you very well know that is our biggest achilles heal.

This build gives me rather nice end recovery, mez resistance, granite tank Defense (of course unslotted granite). Greather than granite tank resistance to S/L and fire (again unslotted granite). Not bad resistance to others as well including some Psi.
Edit: I dont have tornado, sno storm, or hurricane any more. I dont fight AV's anymore. I used those powers situationally against AV's mostly. Everything melts so quickly that those powers arent necessary anymore. IMO -
I dont know if this is working the way it should be but here goes..
Last night I was on an invasion team. I was separated from them fightin Rikti near the portal Corp entrance. At the Portal Corp entrance i was recieving MERIT. After finishing the mob I moved over to the Ferry where the team and what seemed to be everyone in the zone (major lag) had gathered. At which point I stopped recieving MERIT. I thought maybe it was associated to the lag but when I checked my MERIT after the event, none of the kills counted towards gainin MERIT. -
So the is this going to be a new zone? Or is Rikti crash site going to be changed to be co-op?
Wouldnt it be cool that once the zone (TF Complete) is saved the heros and villains can begin to disagree again and begin to fight each other? At least until the zone reverses back into Rikti control. -

After reading some of the guides on Empathy Defenders I decided to build one. I chose electric as my secondary because I love my lvl40 Elec/Elec Blaster G-Tec. The END drain of that set is so extraordinary the only thing it lacks for fast soloing is, "I have to rely on heals from a defender since I am always in Melee for the END drain to work." I primarily team about 95% of the time.
So I thought why not create a Empath/Elect defender and solve that problem. Keep in my mind I still plan on teaming but I like the idea I can solo if I need to.
My Empath/elect defender is currently lvl17. I started playing him 3 nights ago. I have gotten him to lvl17 strictly teaming, I have not visited a contact as of yet.
