Is there a build of Mids' Hero Designer that allows VEATs to take APPs? I'd like to plan builds for my blueside Widow.

As I understand, everyone gets a free respec because the Fitness pool will no longer be a pool. I'm not sure exactly how said respecs will actually work, but in any case, what about those of us with dual builds, both of which have Fitness? Will I only be able to freespec my Widow's Fortunata build and have to earn one for the NW, or vice versa, or what?

Ooh, let's see now... what have I got on my playlist? Oh, here we go... well, with the way I play Blasters, if I ever have a villainous one, it'd be I Fought The Law with the number of times I always faceplant. And with all that debt, House of the Rising Sun would be good too...

My brute, Sideshow Suzy, who won't be complete until I get the carnie mallet unlocked. That's just SO far away that leveling her to "completion" seems like such a chore, and there ain't no way I'll find a team to go farm carnies. Thus, she sits neglected.

Ditto my storm corruptor, Tornadocane. Idunno why, I'm just not feeling him.

Brilliant. I've seen Jacques around, and I can testify that he does indeed make me smile.

Plenty of my characters are dudes, and I never get flack about that.

Meanwhile, I hear from the early posts in this thread that the RP is good in Gemini Park. I've never tried there before but when I checked it out today it was deserted. Is it no longer a hotspot, or did I just catch it on a bad day?

If this is still offered, here is Zenith Fighter X, my sword/shield scrapper. The only reference I have for her weapons (plain energy shield and Vanguard sword) is this chibi.

Also, in keeping with the NPC Menders' names, my three characters who are Menders are all sly little nods to a couple of my favorite works of time-travel fiction.

Here's my new pet project - she goes by the name Oougel:



Oougel is an escaped Arachnos experiment, the result of attempts to create a Widow who needed no training by crossing humans with Soldiers of Rularuu. Results were at once successful and disastrous - they got their Widow, all right, and she went and killed everyone in the lab when they tried to subdue her. She hates Arachnos for creating her as what she is - while she genuinely wants to do good and help people, she's fully aware her appearance is horrific, and her mental and physical abilities are just too deadly. Also, she lacks a human mouth and cannot form intelligible words; all her communication is through telepathy, though it's not a precise enough telepathy to form complete sentences. She can get meanings, ideas, desires, and reactions across just fine, they just aren't necessarily in the form of actual words when she does it. Recently, I've taken her blueside... still looking for a good RP group.

What I'd like is for there to be alignment point gain options at the ends of some story arcs, in particular Westin Phipps'. Like, you'd go through the mission as usual, but at the end, you'd get a dialogue thing like the alignment missions in Praetoria - only it wouldn't change your whole alignment, it'd just give you an alignment point, like a tip mission.

You know how before GR, if you outleveled a contact while you still had a story arc going with them, you were allowed to finish the arc before the contact went truly inactive? As long as you'd picked up at least the first mission, you were okay, the enemies just wouldn't continue to scale past the maximum level? Yeah, our friend Praetor Sinclair (and apparently the rest of Praetoria, as well!) isn't following that rule... I hit 16 shortly before his final mission, and BAM, inactive. With the little "story arc in progress" icon still next to his picture, mocking me for eternity.

This can't be WAI, can it? If so, whose bright idea was that?
