    This!
  5. My most embarrassing moment? The form of address me and my brother use to greet each other. I accidently left my tab on broadcast and as soon as he logged in; "Yo negro (sorta), ready to go!" went all over Atlas Park.

I was waiting to get blasted for it, but nothing ever came of it.

  7. I miss the functioning terminals, they made for a great mini-game as I raced the circuit in PI trying to get and maintain top score on the killboard.
  8. To bad the EATs came along after the Shard. It would have been pretty cool if the Shadow Shard had been the Kheldian home dimension (would have required a bit different background and I suppose that would have boned some of the Coming Storm stuff, but Khelds would have been well adpated to the place considering thier natual ability to teleport and fly.

Oh baby, the Quartefield TF is a true testament to stick-to-it-ness! Did this rascal as a late night/early morning PUG. Also remeber falling asleep at the keyboard a coupla times. IIRC We started late friday night and ended up finishing early saturday morning.
  10. Alternate LRM animation, I really dont care for it when my guy pulls out a gun (be it the super soaker or otherwise), I'd really like to see a back pack type of launcher with multiple missles (ala' the Malta Titans) or maybe something sourced from the gauntlets like the mini missiles seen in IM1.

  13. Did it awhile ago (well more of a statue than action figure), was a bit pricey though

Nuclear Toast actually was the first person I remeber having had a figure done, and IIRC several people have went out and purchased possable figures and reddressed them into thier characters.

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/spectrestudios - David Johnson did the work for me and Nuke. I think he also has a page on Deviant Art under Spectre Studios

    Simple Survey

    [QUOTE=Langes;2942790]

    Player Name: ebon3

    Character Stats: (race/class/level/etc) Technology - Blaster - L50 - NRG/NRG

    1) What’s in a name? : “I see your name is “...”. What is the story behind it? Where did you get it? What other names have you used in the past” WarMain - after experimenting with the different ATs and settling on a tech blaster, I went through various names (mostly taken), and finally settled on grabbing an RPG supplament (in this case Arcana Unearthed), despite really being more appropriate for a tanker, I really liked the Warmain class name.

    2) What’s in a job? : “Why do you play a “race/class/occupation? Do you find you play that a lot? Do you like it or would you play others? Do you have other characters with other race/class/occupation” Blasters are generally my favorite characters to play with scrappers being a close second (my main character is areally more of a blapper) I like the damage potential and speed at which you can despense foes, the low survivability is also a fun mechanic as it adds an element of danger to any encounter.

    3) What’s in a game?: “What do you like about this game? What would you change or improve?” My favorite aspect is probably the casual nature of the game with PvP not being an end game activity.

    4) What’s in a story?: “Do you have any funny anecdotes from playing this game? What is the greatest adventure you’ve been on in here? Hmmm... there are many, trying to think of my greatest adventure? I'd say the first respec trial in the game very early in CoH's introduction, it still feels like an epic achievement.

    5) What’s in a friend?: “Do you play alone or with a group? Are you a member of any guilds? What keeps you playing alone/groups? Do you have lots of friends in this world?
Do you talk to them often?
Mostly a solo player, my SG is composed of my characters and the family memebers that play the game. I do pick-up teams from time to time.

    6) “What got you into MMOs?” Bought Ultima Online on a whim (hated it), then tried Earth & Beyond, from there its been a steady stream (SWG, Conan, DDO, EVE, to name a few)CoH is my all time fav, been here from nearly the beginning.

    7) “What new MMO are you looking forward to?” Secret World, like Conan, it seems like its got alot of atmosphere, but I suppose I'll grow tired of it in the same way I did Conan Epic PvP just isn't my thing. Although exploration is, and hopelly like SWG and Conan, the game wont disappoint in that regard, Also liked exploing in CoH, the badges for doing so was icing on the cake (same with SWG, but with much less shiny)

Thats the first thing that popped into my mind, organic armor really makes for a good "I'm just visiting from the abyss - care to sell your soul to the Blood War cutter" demony kinda set.

The costume change emotes are prety cool as well. Especially IMO the energy one. It would be neat if you could swap out some of the costume change emotes for the teleportation animation (the dimensional shift, smoke bomb, anf lightning strike come to mind).

My not so reformed demonic MM from hell is so gonna get the organic armor as a secondary costume set.

  22. Cool, let me see...

Arno Stone's alter ego is WarMain and as his alter ego, Arno don's a powered exoskeleton to fight crime in Paragon City.

Complete technical information can be found here

What follows is his basic in game appearence, but there are some things missing, most notably is the lack of a gorget and a weapons pod on his back. The gorget is higher at the shoulders and the back and lower toward the chest. It is about two to three inches thick and roughly diamond shaped.

The pod is sort of shaped like a truncated football cut in half and anchored to the back of the armor. The top quarter portion is designed to slide out and down revealing the LRM missile launcher whiile the truncated bottom quarter combines the function of both the main thruster and missile exhaust port. The thruster exhaust port is lined with a segmented ring of high temperature shielding which extends down on to the armor forming a trapizoid (with the narrow end toward the waist. The pod is roughly 2/3rds the length the armor's back and about 1/3rd the width while extending about six inches from the surface. The thruster exhuast features deflctor plates for vectored thrust. Unlike the gold and blue color scheme of the armor, the exhaust port shielding is a dark dull grey.

The arms and legs also posses a more armored look and the gauntlets are a bit more streamlined with the area above the hands and below the gold pattern featuring the energy blast emmiter ports that generally follows the in game gauntlet's contour but also features the segemented shielding of the weapons pod on the back. The calves are generally the same as the in game model except the inverted "V" portion features a thruster exhaust port with the same segmented shielding and trapizodial shielding toward the ankles, there also rudimentary articulated delector plates for vectored thrust.

The gold face on the helmet is actually composed of individual radar elements which when veiwed up close looks like an octagonal grid.

Same now with D&D 4th Ed I think, angels has become sort of a catch-all for summoned entities.
