And it is bad enough that I simply can't play the game this way. The only way that I can stand to play the game is if I turn the graphics to minimum.

It was working fine before the crash, so it must be something that I'm missing.

Can anyone suggest where I might go to get it fixed. Can anyone here help me? I don't even know what information would help.

Anything that can help me wold be greatly appreciated.

    Basic Info
    Computer: Lenovo T60p
    OS: Windows XP Pro SP3
Display Adapter: ATI Mobility Radeon X1400

I have tried installing and reinstalling drivers. I have used several different driver detection programs to check what is installed. I'm getting absolutely nowhere in a big hurry and getting rather frustrated with the entire thing. Just about ready to give it up and uninstall cancel my account.

The guys in the Tech forum will help you out. Off the top of my head i would say reinstaller your video drives again. Then make sure you didn't slightly dislodge a RAM chip.
It is possible to have a RAM chip mostly seated correctly but not completely in and that causing issues that only occur when you are running graphic intensive programs.

    Immediately. I have done it.

Correct. According to Posi a 9800GT will be about the minimum necessary to run ultra mode.
Personally I think it is going to look so good, even a little will make one happy.
  4. What is the minimum lvl a villain has to be to spawn these in the defeat terrigol mish?

Wow. Really. Great news on top of great news!! Can this be verified by anyone else?
Demon Summoning and Whips together !! In the same year as email infl ? In the same yr as recipes show what salvage is needed? Hard to believe I almost cancelled my sub just before AE and if not for AE buzz I would have been gone long ago and now a lot of the things that were pushing me away are all arriving. 2010 is looking like it may be the best yr for CoH.

Awesome great fantastic news. It is very frustrating when one character gets a purple recipe for a set that one of your other characters is slotting a set of.

    IMO on i17 changes:

Ultra mode: looks good. shadows are nice, but the water reflections are truly top notch. I like playing with maxed out settings and it is nice to know my box will easily handle ultra mode.

Archetypes at lvl 20: meh. I don't think having one 50 is such a big deal, but more is better i guess.

In game email infl & recipes, etc: great news, i never thought i would see the day.

    Animated tails: meh.

Posi TF changes: thank goodness that thing SUCKED.

New badges: NO !!! I still dont have 600 on my main (altitis). No new badges damn you.

Increased mish count to 7: very cool. Ty

AH recipes now show which salvage is needed: Awesome thank you !! Should reduce the amount of time i spend in the WW (time i hate) by a lot. Wanted this since day one of i9 and its nice to finally see it.

    AE 20 new maps: cool.

AE pick indiv powers for custom critters: Great. I just hope it is clearly defined as to exactly what is the min to get full xp/infl/tickets.

i bet some of you know a friend or two that said CoV is too dark for my liking or something of that type
I hope so as well. I have about six villains only one which I play regularly. I dont make more villains because Mercy and Port Oakes are so ugly and difficult to navigate. With ninja run and soon ultra mode both those issues should be resolved. It would be GREAT to actually be able to get a team redside.
  9. Neko u know u wanted to spend all day licking yourself anyway, so dont act sad.

  10. WOW just WOW. That is awesome. I never thought the day would come. Now I wont have to transfer infl to my other account and back again, ofcourse it only takes 2 minutes, but what a pain in the A. . . . Email influence. I had to say it again to believe it !!!

    Animated tails - meh.
New Posi TF - thank goodness, that thing SUCKED.

Thinking the stuttering hunter would indeed be having rabbit stew, Superman swooped down in front of the rifle waving maniac. The scared hunter pulled the trigger accidently and the loud bang startled the horse, which bolted and knocked over the tv, Dr Schabbs and knocked the nabs flying through the window, and landing gently on supermans hair.

  15. I like as much of that beautiful world to see to be seen. The less obtrusive the UI the better.

  16. Lucifer's Childe
    Dark/DB tanker
His father is Lucifer and his mother is a succubus. He has come to Paragon city to help the innocent before their morals become corrupted and they end up destined to spend eternity in his fathers domain.

Grumpy (standing behind him) did not want to pose for the photo and it took three pics to get him to stand still !
  17. I would think she is a stalker with some type of blade. With a red costume, Red because of the the Scarlet obviously. I picture her coming up from behind some big enemy and slicing it in the back. I guess it could be a rouge scrapper with invisibility, oh wait that would be a stalker.
  18. When i was a kid i loved going to the arcade and playing Ms Pacman, asteriods, galaxia, etc. However, i always wanted something more. I would tell my friends that i wanted to be the character, a human character, that looked REAL, and would go on adventures. So after Dragons Liar came out and when i first saw it i was amazed, i thought they had read my mind. Then i realized it was just, right right sword forward sword sword left = win. I loved the graphics but was so disappointed with the gameplay. Many years went by and i loved my Tomb Raider, Diablo II, etc., but still longed for what i had imagined. There were many hopeful disappointments Doom, Thief, etc. Then came Freedom Force which looked and sounded like i liked, but was so cheesy in parts and limited in what you could do, the storyline was static. Then i started playing city of heroes. I had never heard of CoH and had just bought a new computer. I went to the store to buy WoW. I had WoW in my hand (i had played it at a friends) and i saw CoH, i was going to buy both and i thought to myself "i should just get one, so i really get into one and not keeping switching games every other day". Well that was 40 months ago. I still haven't gone and bought WoW.

CoH is the first game that has ever fulfilled what i imagined i wanted a game to be as a child. It has actually surpassed it. The world is beautiful. The power animations are awesome. The storylines and long and interesting. City of Heroes is the soccer of MMORPGs. "The Beautiful Game"

I'm not talking about what the game throws at us, not about "no kidnaps, plz" or "I don't feel like fighting Thorns today." This is more a roleplaying thing. This is about your character. What's their blind spot?

Fascists? Hippies? Domestic abusers? Lawyers? Crey? Malta?
My main characters father was killed by a vaz boss before she was born when she learned of her true heritage she began to secretly train and kill vaz at night. Eventually when she got up to about 20th lvl she realized that she had found a greater calling then her childhood ambitions of becoming a ballerina. She kills vaz a lot, even though they're grey now.

My empath comes from an entire family of controllers and defenders that have had a personal war against Freakshow for decades. He got the tank smasher badge very early in his career.

My Android controller was built specifically to eradicate crey from the earth (if possible).
Android has helped kill Countess Crey on many teams.

My Robots/Traps MM decided to take on a life of crime and murder when her family was attacked by Freakshow. They killed her mother and father in front of her, beat her chopped off her arms and legs and left her for dead. Their only mistake was not finishing her off. She awoke weeks later with robotic arms and legs. So amazed by the technology that saved her life and gave her limbs again, she decided she should reward all Freakshow with the only thing they deprived her of, death.

    There are a few others.

    this would be great
  21. Weather forecast from the big himself downstairs, february 7, storm clouds. . . and did someone turn on a fan or something?? Its a cool 110 degrees down here.
  22. I always take the axe. Both are good low lvl and then unnecessary at higher lvls. Before SO's you will miss a lot, when u miss with the Sands you stand there swinging for five minutes looking like a retard hoping your not dead before u can cue the next power. The axe only does "extra" damage against a few critters, but it still does good damage normally, in fact in the sewers it is usually my "big gun". Nerva spectral demons preSO's debuff your acc, which often means DEATH. BU and the Axe will take out a big chunch of green bar out of any nerva.

But if they win a SB there will be huge sympathy from the voters and the City to throw money into the deal. Already talks of building a stadium in Oceanside, about 30 north of downtown, have fallen apart for an idea to put the football stadium next to the baseball stadium - on municipal owned ground. The City would at the minimum have to relocate the bus and trolley depot.

So, will losing in the playoffs stop a new stadium? Maybe not. But will the likelihood increase that the owner will have to chip in a larger share of the cost? IMO, almost certainly.
Agreed. The Florida Marlins are getting a new stadium and "the talks" only started after they won a World Series. The owners are paying 30%. I believe this system is basically the same for all major league sports.
