  3. I am now 34 and still have not put even one slot into Reconstruction. Personaly I think this power annoys me. And its actually the reason why I would not go for a BS/Regen Scrapper again. The redraw of your weapon take so horribly long

    In my opinion they need to fix the thing for Katana an Broadsword, not to put away your weapon when using Reconstruction...
  4. Good Morning everyone,

    currently i am playing a Ice/Ice Dom in the low levels. He is definetly fun. Up to now, I have mostly focused on trollers, so im quite familar with the primaries. However, I'd like to hear your opinion. My first thought was that Ice/Ice builds a great concept. But then there I probably the lease symbiosis consiering these three primaries, as your Main Controllpower Ice Slick is not affected from Power Boost.

    So I thought that Grav and Mind would feel much more powerful. In PvE and PvP the best performance would probably come from Mind, if confuse is affected by PB, closely followed by Grav.

    However, the slows in Grav would probably as well make the Grav/Ice an awsome PvPer.

    So what would you think is the overall better PvPer (in PvE I think its Mind/Ice in big groups and Grav/Ice on single targets). Or have I overseen something from the Ice/Ice that makes it most valuable in PvP?

  5. I dont know about confuse being 6 slotted. Terrify should be ok.

    Entangling mighy be needed for the -fly only, and then the slows from Glue Arrow and Oilslick kick in.

    The slot assignments are a tough choise. Sure for PvP only I probably should drop Mass Confuse, but thats not an option for me. :/
  6. up again. I've hit the 50 now and thought Mind/TA might be a nice PvP Combination as well. So I am thinking about respeccing into a PvP build. The main focus will be Zone PvP (in RV) in small Teams probably. Though it should be capable of doing solo PvP and still some PvE as well. So here I might go with this:

    Any suggestions how I could improve?

    I definetly think Mass confuse will be worth 6 slotting for PvP, just as MAss Hypnosis (could be good to drop toggles for a fast stacking mezz in combination with Mesmerize).

    und hier kann ich absolut nicht zustimmen. Im grossen und ganzen war die ganze Aktion von Base und Kaiser eine grosse Provokation. Die beiden haben auf jede "Bitte" solche Sachen sein zu lassen gesagt: "Wir wollen ja unbeliebt sein."

    Nun gut, wenn ihr als SG nun auch die Verantwortung fuer solche Aktionen auf euch nehmt, dann muesst ihr euch auch die Kritik gefallen lassen: Natuerlich sind derartige Reaktionen eurer SG gegenueber unfair, die sagen alle sind so, aber ich frage mich wieso toleriert eine SG oder seine Mitglieder soetwas, und diesen Vorwurf muesst ihr euch sehr wohl gefallen lassen wenn ihr weiterhin als SG auftrettet. Zumal du auch noch neben den beiden im Hive standest und somit signalisiert hast, ich stehe dazu. Bitte dann tu das auch. Viel Spass noch.

    Pesonally (as i have 1 myself) I would go for EM/SR. Sr has always been good...and when you think about it, upon getting energy transfer, agile and dodge...using energy transer as your first attack out of hide its gonna get a critical.

    The last 2 EM powers actually dont crit out of Stealth. Energy Transfer deals no damage to you out of Staelth and i think Total Focus does not get the full Crit Damage from outta hide. Though SR is a good set for Stalkers. Unlike Nin it does not provide Confuse/Fear Resist, but therefor has Slow Res, which is nice as well. Plus it provides some resist to def debuff, which Nin has not as well. In the End considering performance I dont think there is a lot of difference between those 2 sets (Nin and SR).

    Well I think its actually one of the really good Combinations PvP wise.

    I would maybe think about another invis Power from the Illusion set. Stacked together they should be awsome. But thats just a though, I am not playing a Ill/Storm myself, but that was the first thought when seeing Ill/Storm on paper.

    As far as I know the Mez protection of Acrobatics is more than small compared to MoB. Though the knockback resistence should be sweet, but probably the only reason to take Acro (?MoB was something like -7 or even more and Acro -1?)

    Ok sure forgot that, but addionally Nemesis have a inherent (non Vengeance related) Confuse Resistance.

    Definitely Nemesis for sure (strangely, Fakes are very vulnerable). Banished Pantheon zombies. Some carnies.

    Spectral Knights. I'll go play with some mobs and report back, just so I can support what I'm saying I'm sorry I can't be more specific at this moment.

    I don't think any of these were resistent to Holds, though Carnies were hard to hit but nothing else. When you hit em they stand still. Though I currently cant state for the Zombies.

    Er ever played against Nemesis... They are ALL resistent to Fear/Confuse... dont know any other Mob group thats totaly resistent to Holds actually. Simply not true what you are saying.

    Yes I know the Maths... its not linear, nor is the damage all enemys get from confused ones. However thats not what i wanted to point out.

    Another Emergency Power? Great... */me puts it to the lot of other Emergency powers I have, with a slightly annoying look* [img]/de/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

    edit: No its nice to have, but maybe it fits all too well into the whole Mind thingie... something different, and making you go like WOHO this is a great power would be nicer no? [img]/de/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] (even if less powerfull)

    Oh didnt want to say it does not increase xp/h... but not to the extend stated on the Forums. Plus I didnt want to exclusively compare to Pets... I have Imps, they are ok and some of the best. However from the Point of view that many 9th Powers are a blast, i think MC could be improved?!

    Hi there you Mind Controller.

    I have been reading lots of posts about Mass Confusion (or better the level 32 Power from the Mind set) on the US boards. While they mostly claim this Power is one of the best level 32 powers in the game, some claim its one of the worst. Cause I can't reply to them (rant: I want to post on the US boards) I would like to hear how you see that.

    I personaly do like that power. Its good. It brings in a (in my case as Mind/TA) 3rd AoE hard Control which is good, and an over all 6th AoE in general. Plus it synergizes beautifully with the single target confuse and fits the set. Overall the whole Mindset is different from the other Controller sets, but no worse (rather a good one I think).

    However, as MC being a level 32 Power I think on its own it could really need some love. i do not think as a stand alone its on paar with Imps or many others 32 powers. Especially the recharge could be lots better (or even just a bit) without overpowering MC.
    And one more thing: While everyone points that MC is a power that increases Exp/time, I think those MC-is-all-that-great screamers are little wrong there. Those calcualations are mostly done linear, but however, as the whole mass confused Spawn does not loose Health equaly and you dont beat enemies to exactly 0 Hitpoints this whole calculation is by far too much done in favour of MC.

    But be aware of it that the Repel and the Hold may have different number caps. So while 10 Mobs might hover away only 5 might be held.
  24. When checking my Fighting log I suddenly realized one strange thing with Disrution Arrow. A message appered when firing the Arrow that said something like: You have lowered the Resistence of Arana (something like that). Well now that is disturbing me since I AM Arana. Does Disruption Arrow lower of anybody (not just enemies but heroes as well) or is it just a little bug? The Message also apprears when other Heroes of my Team a near the Disruption.
