  1. I'm totally on board with the love -- can't wait to see the finished product.

The one on google has a much better quality than youtube.
I saw this this morning and was almost late to work cracking up at it.

"Mc Escher is my MC!" LMAO

    Wait!

Is it a CRT monitor, or an LCD of some sort?

This is a VITALLY important question, as you should NOT use anything with alcohol or ammonia on an LCD screen (Unless it's glass fronted, which is somewhat rare).

If it's a plastic LCD screen go down to Staples or Office Depot or whatever and look for laptop monitor cleaner. If it doesn't say it's safe for laptop screens DO NOT USE IT.

Anything with ammonia, alcohol, and a few other chemicals will slowly eat away your screen cover!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Excellent point that I forgot to consider. If it is indeed a flatpanel, you must use an LCD specific cleaning cloth or else this will indeed happen.

Sorry -- shouldn't post while on pain killers.

    LOL--perfect!
  10. make sure it's off and use a windex wipe or some such. Should clean just fine.
  11. I want to echo the take your time mantra going around. This is for you, not us. And as someone said, we're not going anywhere.

Enjoy your practice. Much more fun than striaght lines and polyhedrons.

    Ultimate TA!

Yeah, I was in a hurry and missed how beefy TA is -- In these shots he's sort of got my default build. The Crey Armour gives that sleek, but real feel to it -- so I guess that's why.
  13. ddgryphon

    Ultimate TA!

Yep, the Dual-headed Staff is a winner for Ultimate TA!

Here's what I could manage Using the Character Creator:

    Silver Age Thor's Assassin:

Unfortunately I couldn't do the cape or Staff -- However, I Don't think there would be a great difference in those items.

My shot anyway --- still working on that Theme to put behind your slide show. (This was a distracting question)
  15. Pretty cool -- thanks stalemate!

    Ultimate TA!

My read on the ultimates design is a more "Real world" look to them rather than the idealized Silve Age Look most of them have.

So, the mods to the costume would be stripping away some of the comicbooky feel and replacing it with a slightly pulp-novel kind of feel -- at least that's how I interpret it.

I would expect TA to have sleeker gloves and boots and probably smaller spikes on his epaulettes (sp?). and that they are perhaps somewhat smaller too. The Hood might be tighter, and the cape might be missing altogether or perhaps Ragmanish.

If I could draw, I'd give an example.

I can't wait for someone to step up and do it -- ought to be cool.
  17. I can't get over how much she reminds me of my favorite Charmed one: Holly Marie Combs -- I've had some artists I know comment on Poser's Breast issues. apparently they are fine for "real" people, but for heroic characters they are a bit of a low rider.

Perhpas DarkJedi could come in and talk to us a bout Breasts?
  18. Why don't you give Jingle Hell a go:

    http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...Jinglehell.jpg

or, if that's too dark, you can give Catspaw a go. . .

    http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...on/catspaw.gif
I promise I won't be disappointed -- no matter what.

In fact, if anything here: http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d119/ddgryphon/ strikes your fancy, give it a go.
  19. ddgryphon

    Hmmm..........

That is, at best, a real shame.
  20. Very nice indeed!

So good in fact, I won't even cry about losing the dialogue contest -- you picked the right one!
