  1. The flaw itself I dont mind, what I dont like is that a character can be grabbed before he has become aware of his surroungings when entering the map, or that people can get into the med bay without effort to cause trouble.

If the flaw was present but characters were protected long enough to prepere for being in the zone then I would not mind so much.
As an idea of what I mean I have no RAM what so ever, my computer uses a lump of mud instead of a RAM card so normaly I ccan go make a cup of tea before the zone has loaded up on the computer...But my character will have been standing there for a good percentage of that time, I have arrided dead in bloody bay, and I have seen it happen to Vs too (unless of course they were afk without having the afk sign up).

I find the whining about people camping a strange debate, I understand that camping in respawn sites=bad.. But surely the rest of the zone is fair game? if people have the common sense to set up ambushes in forests or on tall buildings to grab flyers, then surely they should be allowed to?

  2. Noticed this one in Bloodybay too..
  3. Depends who I am playing and why they are there in the zone.

If its my blaster then usualy I'll tp to safe distance and attack them if they carry on harrasing me,otherwise I ignore the Vs and concentrate on either completeing my mission objectives or aiding people if they need an emergency tp out of trouble, or hunt down the various nasties that lurk around causingtrouble for innocents.
(Heh I got dropped by a V, when I thought she/he was being attacked by undead/critter things, I attacked them and then the minions and the V smashed me down...was very funny )

My defender runs, unless he knows he stands little chance of escaping in which case he digs and trys to hurt the enemy as much as possible.

I dont see any problem with running, or lurking. No person would needlesly court pain in real life so my chats would not in-game.
  4. Pvp isnt the big bad a lot of people think it is( hell I dislike the idea, but enjoy pvp), and so far I have been killed by a few Vs who.....Actually rped at me!!
Ok I was dead at the time and they were mocking me, but all the same it beats people talking about their lvl200 cheese monkey all the time.
  5. you can be attacked in the bloodybay pvp zone, as soon as you arrive which means for some on slow loading comps that they arrive dead or damaged.

Or you arrive and find yourself tped off the base surrounded by a load of ninja wannabes stroking their knives while dribbling.
  6. I guess it could be a deliberate design to make things "dangerous", or perhaps they dont care. After all it is a pvp zone so you should expect to get pked (or so I am told).

Have seen no sfe zones anywhere which makes things fun when the map crashes ( as it does all the time).
  7. Yep just tested it, my lvl 18 blaster managed to tp into their med area unscathed. Got screenshots too

Seriously though if I was an A"£$%^& I could caused all kinds a trouble, passing on intel to friends, attacking people, spawning critters from my glowy rocks.
There was one guy AFK in there and I know there are gits out there who would have attacked him.

I could have got out as well if I wanted too, but I was nice and let my char get shived, and then I fed him to the bots to see how far I could get walking out
  8. davidg_EU

    best primary dmg

I find that I miss a snipe type power when I play my sonics.
I think the cone effects are still fubared at the moment,so some of the powers can be unreliable.
  9. I thought the V base was a nightmare to attack, but I was paying my blaster so got eaten up bythe defence guns, but once I decided to be subtle and used tp I was shocked at how easy it was to get into the base and sit within weapons range of the Vs copter thingy (which looks cool).

Tpfoe has worked well against the Hbase, I got pulled out a couple of times last night, but it is inherantly a better defence pos than the Vbase.

If any Vs want to rp/ taunt I am normaly found sitting on the big chimney in your base when not doing the very easy area missions (patrol was made for tpers).
  10. I must admit I do not see the IC (in character) reasoning for Bloodybay ,especily the pointless buffs and debuffs people fight for.

I went into Bloody Bay a PvP hater, not because I find it difficult or out of ethos for the game but because It does not add to roleplay oppurtunities as the game play is very arcade hack and slash.

I was only lvl 15, and expected to get dropped lots, I expected to find hoards of ninja wannabes lurking around shiving up everyone for no reason.

But I had fun, I enjoyed it.
Yes I did get dropped lots, but it was a fun challange to interact with threats that respond in varied and interesting ways... Hell the vast number of lurking stalkers kept my adrenalin going for hours

I completed one mission, and allmost completed a patrol before computer issues made me leave the zone, but before I left I had a great encounter with some villains I lasted about four-6minutes against three(?) of them just by jumping around like a mad scared rabbit.

I still see few roleplay oppurtunites in there due to "gamers", but I think it has enhanced the game.
Well it has for this little medic
  11. Healing aura is just to useful to drop, even if it does not keep up with the damage being taken. It'd be nice if we had another self heal power/self effect power.

I just repsec'd and chucked clear mind(or whateverits called) as I was getting fed up with stupid heroes demanding "buffs"..That and I wanted my Rad snipe power instead, much morse useful for soloing.

Only big complaint with empathy defenders... People want us to join their teams, but never want to join ours to help us with missions.

I cant wait for the first heroe to attack me in pvp and then beg me later on in pve for med aid, oh how I will laugh.
