  1. Is it possible to slot up "Hover" with an IO so you can actually use it as a travel power instead of fly for endurance purposes ( I realise you can do that already without an IO, but it is painfully slow). If so, what kinds of speed could you get out of it?

    Claws/BS/Kat/DB

    Out of the lethal dmg primaries - Claws/BS/Kat/DB, which one does the most DPS in the mid to late game ( I am not counting slotting IO's or So's or DO's, I am talking base damage).

I have been away from the game for a while and am back now but I rolled a Fire/Ice this morning and leveled him a bit and I can tell you he is looking like a BEAST ( granted he is still very low in level but still). I just blew through FrostFire solo like he was just another minion. He is def going to be my main as I am loving him.

  6. I have been away from the game for a while, and now I am back and am hearing talk about "catgirls". WTF is a catgirl?

    Forgive me if this has been asked before, but what exactly is the difference between them besides the look of the weapon. They both seem to have the same attacks, is one faster than the other while the other does more damage?

    Also what is the best secondary to have with either of these. I have heard the following:

    SD - hard at lower levels and you need a ton of inf for it to be any good

    WP - good at start and allthe way through. Falls behind regen but is not as involved

    Regen - Good all the way through but very involved and "clicky"

    SR - hard at first, but outshines the rest in the higher levels

    Dark Armor - Hard to get used to, hard at first, good at later levels, very involved and "clicky"

    Am I on track or off base with these?
  8. But isnt mez more apparent in the later game, as well as more powerful ranged attacks? The blaster just doesnt seem to have any defensive abilities other tehn some slows or a few holds that allow for some mitigation, but in the later levels as far as flat out protection against a certain damage type, the blaster seems to be lacking and thus much much easier to kill with one or 2 shots. That would seriously hinder the ability to solo effectively in the later game wouldnt it? I know there are certain tactics that will keep ablaster alive longer, but when you compare apples to apples as far as surviveability, dont the other AT's do much better as most have a higher form of protection/defense against damage types?
  9. So basically, as far as mid to end game content goes, all other archtypes will outshine a blaster as far as surviveability and the basic ability to solo right?
  10. I was thinking of going fire/ice or fire/elec. I like the fire set in that you get some single target as well as a lot of aoe so you are versatile in damage dealing and not limited to one target at a time, plus fire is not resisted as much as the other powers. I like /ice as a second for the control aspect and /elec is a beast for secondary damage with a little bit of control thrown in for flavor(elec cage plus some knockback powers). I have not had much experience with /Ment in that I have stayed away from it since it is resisted quite a bit in the later game from what I hear, and it is resisted HARD.

    I have been away from the game for quite a while, but have they implemented a way to pass down influence to other toons that you have created?
