  1. Alright, so I'm not sure if this is even the most favorable pvp build. All I know is that it's the most popular Dual Pistols build going. And I'm really trying to work with what I've got to make her into the ultimate killing machine. Any ideas on what powers to keep and what powers I should ditch? Right now I'm thinking about getting ridda either Empty Clips or Bullet Rain simply because it's not single target dmg. I'm still not sure on some of the EM powers though. I know I have boost range and build up and those are the only two self buffs I've got in the whole set.
  2. A few years ago when I was playing on my brute I never used the keyboard for powers. I always used my mouse and clicked on each individual power in the trays. Well I also wasn't very good at pvp. But I was very comfortable using the mouse. My friend, a fellow gamer, told me the reason I wasn't very good was probably because I wasn't using binds on the keyboard. I never understood how that could be the problem, because using the mouse came so naturally.

Now that I've gotten more active in CoX, I've decided to take up using the keyboard. I haven't noticed a significant improvement to be honest. It's pretty much the same in pve. But in pvp i'm actually worse. Right now my main keys I'm using are the number keys and the "F1,F2,F3..." keys. I'm pretty sure this is incorrect though, especially since it takes a really long time to switch from WASD to the number keys to the F- keys and back again. The movement feels so unnatural. And since I'm looking at the monitor constantly, I end up not hitting the powers that intend to. Is there a particular method to keybindings that I should use? What keys do some of you pvpers use? Btw I have a Cyborg Keyboard if that helps.
  3. Right now my DP/Energy blaster has Speed (Hasten and SS) Leadership (Assault and Tactics) and Fitness (The usual with hurdle.) Somebody recommended that I get presence because fears are some of the least resisted holds. But I'm debating between getting that or starting the fighting pool and getting tough and bob and weave. Which should I get? And what else am I missing?

    Thanks!
  4. Does anyone else suspect that they will be raising the level cap for this? I hope so! I'm certain there are lots of players that want their level 50 characters to cross to the other side.
  5. Man, this guide is a true life saver for me. I just transferred from Liberty thinking this RP thing would be a snap. I did some minor rping back it the day on my old server, but that's nothing compared to what Virtue has to offer. Half the time I don't even know what the hecks going on. It's literally like I've entered a-whole-nother world.

Well, needless to say Im hoping to finally get the hang of this RP thing and finally manage to get out in the open in Pocket D. If you see Autosaurus Wrecks hanging around, just try to chat him up a bit and he'll show you his RP potential.

Thanks for the guide and hope to see yall around.
  6. As the child who would eventually become Ralium, Paul Kuprin always had a fascination with robotics. He would tinker away at his toys often taking them apart and re-assembling them even better than before. It was obvious he was born a gifted mind. He taught himself to build advanced robots and create cybernetic chips and wiring that could boost physical performance. One would think the young Kuprin to become a brilliant inventor and mass market his robotics for the greater good.

    Oh how one thought wrong.

Kuprin was born into a VERY wealthy Russian family. This is probably because his parents were involved in the Russian mob. Such mass corruption on a daily basis was to much for the lad. He was even the victim of a horrible gang war and lost his right hand because of it. No problem. Kuprin built a robotic one and wired it to his body to increase his strength and agility. He created a synthetic compond similair to human skin so he could hide his new "hands". Eventually he lost his left hand to a "tragic accident" and replaced it with another robotic one. An accident they say? Or are the makings of a criminal mastermind starting to take effect?

In high school Kuprin began to train himself in various forms of body-building and combat fighting. He soon learned that his fists could get him whatever he wanted. He was the local "bully" on campus. His classmates feared him. So did his teachers. He ditched school to join a local gang. What started out as shoplifting and fights quickly grew into bank heists and murder. But all the violence and crime in Kuprin's life didnt rid him of what still truly loved, robotics. Kuprin needed henchman. He built advanced sophisticated robot minions to assist him in his criminal activities. With superior A.I. and armed with deadly energy weaponry, these bots represent the very pinnacle of human technology. Kuprin realized he was moving up in the world. He needed a new name for himself. A name that would strike fear into the citizens of the Rogue isles. He would be forever remembered as the one called "Ralium".

Ralium eventually moved to St. Martial to become a broker. He began to sell his advanced technology on the black market. It got the attention of many super-powered villain groups. They would pay tens of millions for Kuprin's merchandise. Ralium suddenly became a Meglomaniac. When his parents died he inhereted their billion-dollar fortune. Perhaps there is more to his parents "untimely" death than one may think. Kuprin had more than enough money to fund a vast corporatin dedicated to world domination. But he began having second thoughts when the Council put up an offer he couldn't refuse.

The council is an advanced military organization with the same thoughts that were on Ralium's Mind. World Domination!! They needed superior weaponry and robots exelling in military warfare. Ralium realized this was the first step to absolute power. He took the highly respected position. Ralium quickly got to work on his first major project, the Zenith Warcry. He built three models. The MK I and II and the Zenith Hoverbot. Ralium was the genious behind the Council's robots. Throughout his years in the council he slowly began to go mad. He started cybernetically augmenting his own body to increase his strength and endurance. Even if it meant replacing functional parts. He became a notorious figure not only within the Council but worldwide too. He got the attention of many heroes from Paragon City. Especially from the Freedom Phalanx. The Council began to fear Ralium. They were afraid that he would gain too much power. They hired an internationally known military sniper by the name of Burkholder to destroy Ralium. Burkholder was unsuccesful though. However, he found something equally as devastating. The blueprints to Ralium's latest projects. Burkholder used these plans and his own knoledge of robotics to create Zenith Robots of his own. The Council thought well of Burkholder and Ralium was quickly put out of business.

Ralium finally started a vast corporation of his own. His base was located underwater to avoid any unnessecary attention. He named his corporation "Ralium Enterprises". He hired many scientists and engineers to work and serve Ralium. He continued to augment himself with his cybernetics and replaced his feet with high-tech boots. Thes boots had built in generators that would allow him to fly long distances. He wired his body throughout connecting to his spinal colomn that could generate an electromagnetic spectrum field bending the light around him. Ralium could temporarily make himself invisible.

There was a certain hero however. A hero that would change Ralium's life forever. This hero was named Positron. He took a particular interest in Ralium's corporation. He knew about the dark insidious projects that went on in thier labs. He was determined to put Ralium out of business perminately. He was unfortunately succesful. He launched a longbow attack on the major underwater facility. While the longbow troops fought to destroy evrything in their path, Positron seeked out his arch-villain, Ralium. Ralium knew wat was about to happen. The fight was long and tenacious. Blow after blow each one incurred maximum damage. Raliums superior strength and robot henchman at his side were proven to be quite a match for Positron. However, Ralium found himself to be overpowered to the heroes radiation blasts which made him and his bots vulnerable. Ralium had finally been defeated. Positron subdued the villain and took him away to Paragon City where he was sentenced to life in prison.

Ralium's life dream had been ruined. All that was on his mind was vengance. He wanted Positron to suffer for what he did. He wanted his blood to pour down into his hands as he slowly and painfully killed him. Ralium fell into a deep depression. Suicide was on his mind. But he knew better. He knew one day he would break out. He continued body-building exponentially. Soon he was in the best physical state of his life. Then one day the Arachnos Flier came. Ralium had no idea wat Arachnos was. All he knew was that it was here to set him free. All hell broke loose as Arachnos freed Ralium and the other super-powered villains that were locked away. The average prisoners were quickly captured and locked away. Ralium however was much more than average. He didnt hesitate to pound the [censored] out of the prison security that had locked him away. As soon as he was free, he knew. First things First. Positron must pay.

Unfortunately in the battle with Positron Ralium's cybernetics were detroyed. Ralium however was easily able to rebuild. He upgraded his cybernrtics and robotics ten-fold. Ralium was off to prove his destiny. After recieving news that Ralium broke free, Positron knew that the villain would hunger for revenge. Ralium met up with him on top of the Atlas statue in Atlas Park. The citizens watched below as Ralium and Positron fought to the death. Positron was horrified to see that Ralium was much more powerful than his last encounter. Positron knew that only one of them would survive. He saw that Ralium's robots were upgraded to absolute killing machines as their powerful energy weapons were tearing through his battle armor like butter. The entire city was about to witness Positron's death. Positron couldnt be more sorry as he died at Raliums feet. Positron was dead. Killed by Ralium. Ralium shoved Positron off the statue plunging his body 10 stories down.

Ralium was breaking news for nearly a month. He had killed Positron, one of Paragon City's Signature Heroes. The citizens were devastated. Until Positron came back to life that is. Positron's radiation soaked into his own body as he died. The radiation commited a massive fallout out as it resusicated Positron. He was hospitalized for two months trying to stabalize the radiation. Ralium was deteermined to fight again but he then realized something. His vengeance was not what he wanted. He may have defeated Positron but his corporation was still destroyed. He learned that what he does isn't personal. It's just business. That's all it ever is, business. He tells that to his victims as they die and it is now part of Ralium's lore.

Ralium wanted to rebuild his corporate empire but it wasnt plausible. He didn't have time. He had places to go and Heroes to beat. Instead he thought up a brilliant idea. Instead of rebuilding he would join another dark sinister corporation. He would rise to the top earning respect and power. Then he would take over the corporation by any means necessary. Even if he must resort to violence..................

And what better corporation than Mastermind Enterprises!!!!!!!!!!
  7. my destiny?TO CAUSE THE TOTAL ANNHILATION OF CREY INDUSTRIES AND SLAUGHTER OF VANDALL!! fyi I supplied councils bots for awhile. then vandall took all the credit for it
