Regen in PvP is amazing, in my opinion. Very hard to kill and if you grab Shadow Meld from Ghost Widow's Patron Power Set, it melds VERY well with Moment of Glory.
Also, yes, it's called Heal Decay. You have to wait eight seconds for your next heal to do AS MUCH as it previously would. Which is rarely a problem since your main heal doesn't even recharge that fast.
But once again, in my opinion Regen is one of, if not THE best option for a stalker in PvP, right now. -
We should combine ideas, Chibi. Together we make the ultimate dev team.

My thoughts on how to make PvP moar "casual" and "balanced"..
1.) Lock all powers.
2.) Give everyone a baseball bat for melee damage. (One attack. Same recharge as brawl.)
3.) Give everyone rock for range damage. (Same as baseball bat.)
4.) Travel Powers Allowed. (Except Fly. Can't have that.)
Bingo. I've solved all PvP problems.
Seriously ... this new PvP system makes me sad... I can't even begin to explain why. Nor do I think I should have to. Heh. -
"I Won't Go Down Without A Boom."
Arc ID: 8601
Length: 3 Missions.
Enemies: Circle of Thorns, Arachnos, Custom.
Genre: Arcane
Difficulty: Hard
Plot: Aid Xlarion in defeating Omega Kisser!
Author: @Ultima Widow
Note: Expect to dedicate some time to this arc. Also, PLEASE read clues, and everything Xlarion says. Or you may risk the arc being rather confusing!
EDIT: Edited to add; If you are doing this solo, or even with a rather small team, I suggest having your difficulty to heroic. -

I'd say the trash talk that goes on in pvp zones has turned many people away from pvp over the years. If cross-faction chat wasn't permitted in the zones, you'd probably have more people fighting.
I don't think it's right to say that anyone who turned away from pvp because of the verbal abuse "obviously wasn't meant to pvp" being that the type of talk that bothers people really is not an integral part of pvp.
Players who might otherwise stick around, learn from their mistakes, and improve, can quickly sour on pvp when their first defeats are followed by harsh insults.
I don't know why any of this is difficult for folks to understand.

I agree. To a certain level ... Basically, it comes down to this.
There are different types of people out there. You have people who can laugh at trash talkers (IRL and in game) and people who can't. My statement of "Obviously you weren't meant to PvP if you can't take trash talking" was strictly for zones. If you can't take trash talking and it hurts your feelings that bad. Don't come back, go to arena.
Now as mean as that sounds, it's really not. If you can't take the time to either put that person on ignore or turn off chat, then you are kind of asking for it. As I previously stated, I got chewed up and spit out when I first joined PvP, was trash talked to, ETC. The works. But I have the type of personality that takes that as a challenge and I WILL keep coming back until I beat that person.
Most trash talkers do it to provoke the other person, or they just think it's funny and makes them look tough. /I/ on the other hand, love to strip the other person of that by doing whatever I have to so they'll have no ammo to pick on me with.
Geez, people take the internet too seriously. I get that some people apparently just CAN'T handle reading mean text or like I said, ignoring the other person. (It's really not that hard, I promise.) But phew, don't ruin other people's fun by always complaining! -
What Rei said. ^ ^ ^

I agree good points all around. But when people say PvP is dead because of trash talkers, ETC. All I have to say is obviously you're not meant to PvP. I still to this day get ganked and trash talked too.
Only difference is I "LOL' at it, find a way to kill the trash talker and move on. Usually adding a "" right after I kill them. Oh how a smiley can really tick a person.

PVPers might as well give it a rest and if they were serious about betterment of pvp, they would help instead of contributing to it's destruction. If they want the PVE people to have say and control what happens, then keep on, they are doing a very good job.

Not sure I get exactly what you are saying here. A rather large community of PvP'rs tried to help out the devs by telling them things that needed to be fixed to better PvP, ETC.
As far as my opinion on PvP, I think i13 did pretty much take an already bad system and made it worse. Then when people start adapting to i13, they ruin what they tried to do with i13 with i14. So now everyone will be rerolling or IO'ing to fix what i14 is now taking away. (Elusivity, ETC.) -
I still say this ... make the Shadow Shard accessible to Villains and Heroes like the RWZ. Shadow Shard is a very very well thought out and great story-lined place that is used very little. The 4 TF's that take place there are also pretty fun (excluding the first one that takes like 28 hours...). Other then that idea. I wouldn't mind seeing something different on Red side, most of the zones look the same ... with different names until Grandville. OH, and a new Pocket D would be nice!!! :P
