Well considering I took it from the german/hebrew surname relating to the origin *priest* and not from Ricardo Montelban's epic role, i'm not sure how that constitutes as bad spelling. The callout is just a reference the lads on corp chat decided to throw out there.

Anyhoo, I think this calls for a merry little jaunt to the pub across the way

Character - Would have to be Westin Phipps for character, that guy is just plain evil and makes Recluse seem like a pacifist vegan monk in comparison. Looks-wise it would have to be Dr Quatrexin, Black Scorpion's inspiration and looks way cooler

Badge Destroyer of Strength - Works perfect for my scrapper and I just love the way it rolls off the tongue as a title.

Powerset - Broadsword, has a lovely inherent debuff, parry is awesome when tied with RttC, add in the the fact that if you hit a double crit with headsplitter through more than one opponent (which is a religious experience I can tell you ) and you have a very versatile set. Also has the biggest range of models, the best imho being the rikti blade from the watchman accolade.

Arc - Would have to be *Conference of Evil* from Viridian, I just love that last mission with all the Villain bosses arguing about being betrayed *wont say who as to not spoil it*

Memory - Simple, last mission of the Sara Moore TF in the shadowshard. That last room is awesome, my first time there I was running blindly into giant overseer bosses left right and centre, was pretty creepy. Then the last room - seeing Ruladak the Strong for the first time through the veil of darkness was just brilliant.

On a side note to that one AI, the emote i sooo want is the one following GW's patron power *Soulstorm* that folded arms emote whilst hovering is awesome

I have to say certain usage of the mask combinations will add a nice touch to a lot of my characters. As I have stated previously, I find that the best costumes are when someone mixes and matches all the costume pieces to find a look that is truly unique (in a good way of course)

The body changer i think can work for a few good concepts, a tech character encased in power armour for example. Most interesting is for any Kheldian, truly brings the shapeshifter concept into a new light

Started 4 years ago and made a char under the name "Deathscythe" (cant even remember the server) returned a few years later and tried the name again on a new account - alas was unable take the name, fell in love with my corr "Lord Mortarion" for a year, then my blaster "Stryke"


However, nothing has come even close to the enjoyment I have with my scranker BS/WP megatoon Warscythe whom I cannot say I go a day of gameplay without splattering something or other. Its a combination of concept, look, name, and sheer stupid survivability that makes this toon fun to play.

Although it comes at the expense of over 15 very dusty unused toons

I see your point sing, *if* the purpose of the grinding has been for that one badge, then maybe yes, however if they have simply just played that toon for long enough to earn the badge irregardless then it would be unfair to brand them as sad...some folks dont have altitis and simply love the singular toon concept.

Its hard to say, I wouldnt say theres a particular "wow" badge that has stopped me in my tracks.
What I do like however mirrors starscreamers comment, its the fact that there are badges out there which perfectly fit character concepts.

Such as "destroyer of strength" ( sstf *ruuladak the strong* ) for Warscythe, "heat seeker" ( arachnos flyer in stf )for my blaster Stryke - though i'd love "nuclear powered", im not sure if i have the patience any more to finish my invention badges with my current game time.

I simply now blast through TF's, arcs, run AV mishes etc and some of the badges are fun and truly feel like an accomplishment rather than a grind, such as "Justicar" ( when done the right way and not from the mental holiday day when all AV's were running rampant in the zones)

Irregardless of your personal misgivings (the voice of a true artist-never bloomin satisfied) I have been watching this thread for a while, and you really keep out doing yourself knight old buddy. Its a real pleasure to see your work evolve and I can only dream of seeing a version of War up there, the only other interpretations are from Doc D and psygon (both awesome) both taken from my pics on my handbook page and from my original inspiration .

But back on topic, your work is really something, if I had to pick, I would go for Mereman and Liz, Saphs latest colour version is also very well accomplished, but as for GG's? I would have preferred her to have bigger eyes.............( sorry GG, I just had to go for that )

As for the original post, and to add my two pence in for the farming debate, 1st - congrats to bruce and his SG for steaming into the top 100.

2nd - Since when did being in the top 10/100 become a bad thing?, Ive been in the art of war (who have been active since launch) for over two years now and we have always insisted that our members do two things - have fun and mock Eros (one of the co leaders)

In that time I have seen our roster drop to 5 members, then rise to a maximum, then drop again to what we have now, around 15-20. In all that time we have simply had fun, mashed TF's, run for badges, had runs in arena and the zones....always looking for something fun to do.

During all that we have risen from 12th to 9th...3 whole spots...in two years. And while I do see what FFM was driving at, I also find it a slight to the hard work of players past and present reduced to a "youre in the top 100 ergo you farm"....why cant we simply congratulate people for their acheivements instead of being derogatory towards them.

Aplogies for the rant but it needed to be said.

It *does* fix itself if you respec both builds into non-crab mode, i had the same issue from VEAT launch when i ran with a crab mode for the 1st 40 lvls, then switched to a bane on my second build, i simply respecced the crab mode into huntsman/bane and when i finished the respec the crab backpack had gone.

Thing is doc, the ulterior has a mesh underlay look and differing chest patterns, there is no overlapping plate effects. I see the similarities but its not ulterior as I see it.

From all at the art of war I extend my congratulations - you must have some serious non stop TF runs to gain that prestige without farming, ( and no that wasnt sarcasm ) With our ever fluid roster im pleased enough we are in the top ten and gaining on TPC for no8 spot, but really well done guys
