lol the thought of cov being MORE repetitive than coh really makes me laugh. What the hell are you smoking?

 [/ QUOTE ]

CoV feels sooo much more repetitive than CoH because of the lack of content.

But aside from the whole "which game is better" discussions, I do agree that teaming is a lot harder in CoV. There seem to be a lot of Cliques, people who will only team with their SG for fear of bad PuGs, and a lot of Brutes and MMs who like to solo.

I've tried making many an alt in CoV and give up by the time I get to lvl 10 because I hate soloing.

BS Scrappers can do just as much damage as an AS.

 [/ QUOTE ]

OK, dreams here, reality over there AND the critical is only 1 in 5, which means it can't be depended on.

 [/ QUOTE ]

I said CAN do, not WILL ALWAYS do

 That's a 1 in 5 chance of one shotting a squishie

Headsplitter also has knockdown so you can get another move in without them having chance to get away and/or pop an insp.

Fighting a brute 1v1 in Warburg, he hits unstoppable, we fight pointlessly for 3 minutes.

 As unstoppable drops he says:

"Wait, don't attack me for a sec"

just sell that stuff, and try to get the lvl 53 SO's

Silly Luc, 51's are just as valuable as 53s
-
Yeah we completed it, 3 scrappers on the team managed to share the aggro amongst us.
-
BS Scrappers can do just as much damage as an AS. So I'd go for a BS, secondary is down to whether you want stealth yourself (DA) or something else and get someone to grant invis you.
-
Tank left halfway through first mish on our team. We died lots, finished at 5:00pm.

 Great fun though
-
I'm choosing weapon mastery instead for my PvP BS/Regen

Web grenades and caltrops to stop the gits from getting away and two distance powers if they get a bit out of reach.

With 2 accs and Tactics I rarely miss, especially with build up
-
I say bring back The_Question and make him a mod.
-
Solo, my scrapper eats stalkers for breakfast.

Teamed with someone who can -fly or slow them and I eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

 A stalker can 1 or 2 shot a squishie
An Ice/En can 3 shot a squishie without any chance of escape
any /en blaster can 3 shot a squishie if they don't leg it quick enough
My scrapper can 1 shot a squishie with a crit, 2 shots without.

And I only have tactics, and never have a problem seeing a stalker - even ones with hide and stealth.

I'll join a PvP chan, always happy to help out new players with a few binds such as "find a baddie then hit the numbers randomly and hope for the best" which of course is the ultimate PvP tactic.

 If you say so...

Argue with my uberleet PvP rep at your peril, the tactic is unfallable...muhahahah

A very nice site, good work, especially from a newcastle lad
-
	Good draw!

I think the main difference between the are the shoulders and the way the T-Shirt "hangs" off the sketch as opposed to being tight to the stomach of the in game pic.

But still way better than I can do

Try going up against a good scrapper in Warburg, and pray he doesn't one shot you with a crit Eagle's Claw, Head splitter etc...

 [/ QUOTE ]

It's OK, given there's only a 10% chance of getting a critical you won't have to pray very hard.

 [/ QUOTE ]

 20% with lvl 32 power

So that's a one in five chance I have of one shotting a squishie.

My god, there were actually people in Warburg, and like fighting for ages!

I doubled my PvP rep, and increased my learning curve a bit on what to use and when, and also how annoy ganking is

Well played all, was a really fun evening.

no he argued it requires the same skill as riding a bike i agreed (being sarcastic cos i completely disagree with Hobo) saying there are basically as many levels to riding a bike as there are in PvP

 [/ QUOTE ]

There aren't many levels of how to ride a bike, you get on and pedal - as long as you have a sense of balance you can do it.

Tour de France is how fit you are, BMX Championships is how much you can say "dude" with a bandana round your forehead.

there's a distinct lack of support toons

This reminded me of Sirens yesterday, when someone asked my dominator for a one on one and I said "I don't have a single attack" to which the reply was "then what are you doing here?" to which I replied "To hold stuff for other people to attack"

If I haven't got a team, I'm useless...well not useless, just really annoying for anyone without mez protection.
-
One lot of perception buff for the controllers and the stalkers are useless.

And stacked holds from 8 controllers isn't going to be counter acted by a couple of clearmind equivilents.

Not to mention the controller secondaries, 8 buffs/debuffs/heals along with stacked holds and containment for damage.

 Say bye bye villains.
-
It's moderate damage, the same as 90% of my secondary attacks.

It offers a different type of damage for those baddies who have a psi resistance

It'll take a boss out of the fight a lot longer than one mesmerize application

A stray AoE from a team mate will wake a sleeping baddie up, it won't make them get up quicker from a knockdown

 And it's great in PvP
