Good draw!
I think the main difference between the are the shoulders and the way the T-Shirt "hangs" off the sketch as opposed to being tight to the stomach of the in game pic.
But still way better than I can do
Pointers? ..well..i dont know about wisely worded comments to help, but i can offer a link to tutorials that will proove better than my horrid wording attempts to form any pointer.
Check under the 'Female' Heading, there might be somthing there you could find usefull.

@Inkwave ..(darn merge)
It's working again!! \o/
Aiight, good drawing but contains many flaws..
Firstly, you must have gotten the wrong pic uploaded!
Minako_LowRes.jpg was at 600dpi... that's high rez! =D
On to the pic:
Proportion, perspective and lineart.
I would suggest using the ol' Skeleton technic to first visualize where you're going. And then apply/try to reproduce it on your toon picture.
I allowed myself to do a quick draw over.
Jericho was right when he mentionned the shoulders. They are too high and very stiff.
The head is also skewed. When drawing a head, I first establish the symetricality then add the back/cranium to establish the depth. Here, it's alright since it's a front shot. The head should be straight and symetrical.
Much to work on but you're not too far off!
Just need practice..
Hope this helps.
I've been doodling, trying to get to grips with this whole "drawing" m'larky, and I think I need a pointer or six
Seriously, this just looks "wrong" to me, and I can't work out why, so I'd love some help in getting it "right"
The drawing is a freehand sketch, manga style, and then inked (you can probably make out the framework and where the ink smudged in removing the pencil still)
The sketch is here and a screenshot of the character it's based on is here . It was drawn from memory, not from "life"
Many thanks!
[edit - even smaller version of the sketch put up to try and reduce the hourly bandwidth.]
