My thought is this... you should be able to buy it open when you have the completion badge. OR you can only "completely unlock" it if you have completed it. This shuts down the farms as least partially and increases the completion runs. I think they will give us another way (hopefully sooner than later). I also think beating Tyrant should give about 10% unlock, but that's just my opinion.

This appears to be the patch for the Panther issues and possibly some database maintenance to fix those characters that were affected.
I wouldn't imagine the blockbuster thing to happen until after the Nemesis annoyance. -
The email for the blockbuster thing didn't have a date on it that I saw? And there was a patch on Tuesday for the panther issue, right?
With a hefty time frame listed for the publish, it'd have to be something significant so my bet is on the blockbuster thing.....getting it in before the long weekend? -

The hell are you people talking about Lambert at all? Duncan / Adrian Paul IS the Highlander. He easily surpassed whatever concept Lambert was part of originally (and subsequently MURDERED in his sequels.)
And Adrian could STILL play the role. I just don't think he wants to
In this day and age it most certainly would be a freaking reboot. If done right, they can be a good thing, but that is far and few between. Highlander, however, could really use one. With, I dunno, maybe coherent writing and good direction.
But it's Duncan forever for me. -

Perspective, people.
(No people, I am not relating this promotion to anything but trying to make a point in regard to all the quibs and quibbles that happen every...freaking....time in these "discussion" threads. Can we stop calling them "discussions"? Label it comments. Label it "we only want "yay thanks!" posts. Or label it "people who aren't officially connected to the game are hereby authorized to assume and explain the actions of people in the know". Or don't allow direct responses to other posts because I swear to god the ability to comprehend and process other people's opinions are at an alarming low. )
As for the promotion, I saw no mention if it via the game other than people commenting in global channels. That seems a bit misguided. And I still don't like the current time frame.
Also, kudos to Hit Streak for actually providing some actual information. I'd like to see the OP modified to include that information. -
What MP said, but I'd add it depends on your primary slotting almost as much as slotting out EA to help boost up those Def (Smash/lethal mostly) numbers. Or if your primary has a +Def (I think you'll only find melee/lethal here) ability as well (yay staff/EA).
I labored with EM/EA when EA first came out and it's been vastly overhauled since then and OMGlaughably easy to soft cap those numbers now. -

Either way, may I suggest they use some fancy schmancy remote log in procedure to turn off the feature and actually have it run throughout the day Friday instead if it's a technical issue requiring a person to actually do something. -
