I've read this thread about Leary 3 times now... the one commonality is that everyone who has reported getting Leary missions has exactly one unused respec. If you have 2 unused respecs it doesn't work, if you have used any of your respecs it doesn't work. If anyone has exactly one unused respec and still doesn't get the Leary missions.. please post.
[/ QUOTE ]
Just did 2nd respec; didn't use.
Leery will not give me missions.
[/ QUOTE ]
Just as an FYI to make sure everyone is on the same page for Leery, he is a 35+ contact only.
I haven't been seeing any level numbers for the people that have tried to use Leery and I don't recall seeing anybody post the text he gives you when you click on him (for either successful or unsuccessful tries).
I tried just to try on a level 31 Brute who has an unused respec, and Leery told me to come back at 35. -
Making a request to find the sound for Hot Feet, more importantly, the constant-playing sound of Hot Feet after it's activated.
I went through many folders, but nothing matched that exact sound that I could tell.
It has slowly bothered me more and more -
No contact sent me to the unlockable contacts; had to stumble on them myself or use guides like this to find them (hell, to even know about them in the first place )

For Strike Buster, it's 100 Scrapyarders of any type.
[/ QUOTE ]
Are there 2 badges for this? I just did a mission in Sharkhead with a team for "Stop the Strike on the Dock" or something in line with that. At the end of the mish I got the accomplishment badge called Strikebuster. And there was easy 100 scrapyarders in there, but no villain badge. Can someone confirm this...
[/ QUOTE ]
IIRC, Strikebuster is a separate one-shot mission. I believe the mobs in there are part of the "Dockworkers" label, and not scrapyarders. -
[ QUOTE ]
ok.... let me see if I understand you...
I can get a mission, invite at least one person, have that person stay in the mission map, log off, (from inside the mission) bring my alt in, finish the mission, then the alt that I logged will have the badge? Somehow, that sounds incorrect to me. Please clarify.
[/ QUOTE ]
This works for *missions* that give Badges, like Spelunker.
If an alt of yours owns the mission, this alt will receive the badge for a completion of this mission regardless if he is logged in, or ever takes part of the actual mission; the mission and rewards are tied to the owner. Whoever else takes part in the mission (and stays in the mission) will also be granted the mission badge at completion. -

Its either 100 or 200 "nice" presents the "naughty" ones do not count towards the badge. I had opened a good 400-500 before I got the badge, if not even more than that.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is not true.
I've gotten it twice, and each time, it came directly on the 200th glowie gift I clicked on, regardless how many nice or naughty presents the gifts resulted in.
Ironically, each time, it did come on a "naughty" gift. -
Is that still the case with the newest patch?
Was hoping it was tied to the rep points always being zeroed out before -
Rep points should be fixed now so that they do not zero out with a zoning or logging out. They will still decrease X amount for Y time though.

For my hero (as well as the Bloody Bay one), I just had to be there.
Not sure if its consecutive or not- the Siren's call one didn't seem to be, but I didn't risk it with Bloody bay.
One thing to note, you won't get teh badge when you've been there 5 hours, but rather after you log back in.
I got both badge while logging back in inside of said zones- maybe you can only get if if you've been in said zones 5
hours, consecutive or not, then log back in while inside the zone?
[/ QUOTE ]
At least for Siren's Call, you can't ever leave the zone; no zoning into another zone, nor zoning into the door missions. You can log off, but you must be in Siren's when you do log off.
After ~5 hours of accumulative time in there, on your next log into the zone, you should get the badge.
Hopefully this is bugged both in the sense of having to re-log in to get the badge and for the "can't ever leave zone" aspect. -
Friggin, have you passed on other minor "bugs" with the gladiators?
The Nemesis one describes robots, but the actual glad is the Lancer minion.
The killing Blue Ink to unlock Red Ink badge states Blue Inks in the selection screen. Was a hectic fight last night where I used 1, but am pretty sure it was a Blue Ink in the actual match as well. Not really convinced of the differences between the Blue and Red Inks anyway.
The Wraith badge gotten for taking out Croatoa ghosts (human looking ghosts is the point) unlocked a Praetorian wraith (including the drescription from the Diabolique missions). Just seems odd since the two are completely unrelated.
As for weird costs, Blue Ink minions cost MORE than Swift Steel! And Research Assistant is 400, but is a minion?
More testing is needed, but those two stood out quite a bit since they are "new". -

I'll add a PRETTY PLEASE to this.
Stacks range? Stacks perception "magnitude"? What about the non-ability to target a semi-seen Stalker with IR goggles + 1 Tactics running?
We can't bug/comment on something that people can't agree on about what should be going on :-/ -
Last night I logged out of Siren's call with a 30 something Rep rating. About 2 hours later I logged back on the same character, still in Siren's, with a Rep rating around 5.
I hadn't lost Rep ratings like that before. Was a little annoying. -
Fantastic!
*waves hands in an eerie manner*
VoodooCompany's Arch Mage does not need to be looked at; tweak all others though.
That is all.

I guess I'd rather have an Ancestral.....they have a kick [censored] costume
But over-powered Bosses aren't exactly needed
A Red Ink (or even Yellow Ink) man would be very nice to have; dangerous, yet killable. -
Any chance the Abomination badge is associated with the Embalmed Vhaz badge? Certainly has nothing to do with BPs that I can logically see
Kind of curious why defeating Ancestral Spirits gives you Swift Steel.
Some Gladiator badge requirements seem pretty straight forward to their reward, while others are just kind of "out there". -

Not really sure the point of having Sluggers. Cannon fodder?

The gladiators you mentioned, besides a couple longbow, are minions. Bosses can easily one- or two-shot them. Lt.'s don't have much more trouble.
Minions are basically useless in an open match, take bosses whenever possible.

Exactly. The prices associated with the ones I listed are out of whack compared to others, either same rank or not. -

I may not have seen these particular ones....what's the badge for them?
Pretty sure I haven't seen these if their cost is ~500 like the Arch Mages'.
[/ QUOTE ]
I believe you get them by finishing a door mission in a PVP zone (one of the ones that buffs your side or debuffs the opposing side). They've got psychic blasts (I think they use mental blast, subdue, and the psychic tornado), they can fly (so you can have them hover-blast if the map allows) and they have a PBAOE heal (I think). In my experience, they do better damage than the AMoA (at least when he's avoiding melee), but they're much easier to kill.
Some of the gladiator lists I've seen have had a "Longbow Warden 1" and a "Longbow Warden 2". I'm not sure what the difference is.
[/ QUOTE ]
The hero I've used for Gladiator matches hasn't done any PvP zone missions due to being level 50; so I know I haven't used this particular one.
I'll have to get someone to exemp with me to run one of those. The 2 Longbow critters he can use are 300 or less, and basically just suck. -

Longbow Wardens are great--they're like AMoA-lite. Easier to kill (and just as expensive), so they're not quite as good as AMoAs, but then, what is?

The single-target Taunt is not supposed to work in PvP. If it is, it will be fixed in the next build.

I was certainly being taunted by Brutes attacks in PvP in Bloody over the weekend.

ditto
[/ QUOTE ]
same here.
I laughed at the guy when I saw "taunted" on my screen while fighting him......no [censored] I want to hit him. No one else mattered anyway -
Before any diversification schemes, I'd just prefer some mobs performed better outright compared to their cost basis.
The 7th Gen PPs are pricey, but they are squishy as all hell and didn't seem to pack much of a punch (plus you get a random power, sometimes claws, sometimes Energy blast).
All Longbows are pricey, and have no "punch" that I've seen.
Wolfs started out great, but got dropped in a split second and I'm not sure how (opponent had only 2 pets left, and I had ~5...wolf got dropped hard and fast).
Not really sure the point of having Sluggers. Cannon fodder?
Side note: Boulders are funny because when they die, the rubble that forms, has no controller. They can attack what they want, but usually attack your opponents pets; you just can't control them. -
